Three Defective Units from the Same Model – Quality Concern
I recently had a difficult experience with a TV purchase from Visions Electronics. I bought an LG QNED92, but unfortunately I received three defective TVs in a row, all with the same issue (dust or marks inside the screen).
To be fair, the store manager Chad was helpful and professional, and he tried to assist throughout the process. I have no complaints about the staff at the Hamilton store.
However, the overall experience was very inconvenient. I had to make four trips from Niagara to Hamilton, carrying and exchanging large TVs each time. This took a lot of time and effort, especially during the winter.
Eventually Visions confirmed with the manufacturer that the TVs had a manufacturing defect, and they processed a full refund.
What disappointed me was that after this long process and multiple defective units, Visions only offered a very small discount (about $70) if I wanted to buy another TV. Considering the inconvenience and the confirmed defect, I hoped the company would try to make the situation right in a better way.
Because of this experience, I decided not to purchase another TV from Visions.
Again, I appreciate the effort from the store staff, but I believe the company should do more for customers when multiple defective products from the same batch are sold.

They sold a security key that is not working. They claim the package has been opened. Of course, otherwise I wouldn't know... So they don't accept the return.
Don't waste you time, order in Amazon. It's coming home and you can return!
Poor Customer Relations
Was told they price match on in stock major chain stores(Brat Buy sold by Best Buy) and will beat by 15%, wouldn’t do it, multi day shopping experience led me on to believe they were honest and trustworthy sale staff to the day of Super Bowl. Do not recommend this Visions location in Burlington and will be sharing this across my office and local businesses.

Buy in-person, do not order online
Ordered an "OPENBOX" stereo for my car from the website, with no information on the website as to what open box even meant. I was shipped a used stereo that had a dent in the corner, submitted a support ticket immediately to try and process a return, got a couple follow-ups to send photos of the damage before complete radio silence. Haven't gotten any emails in 2 weeks, I've tried to call a couple times and the wait times are egregious. Not possible to return to a store location in person either. Very frustrating experience, if you are reading this you should only buy from a physical visions electronics location because processing an online order return is a nightmare with the current support ticket system

Absolutely horrid company with possibly the worst customer service I've ever seen. Ordered an open box 100 inch TV for Black Friday and although other items from my order were delivered, this has gone missing and we're about a month and a half out from placing the order. They don't answer their phone line, literally have taken up to two weeks to reply to my online ticket, I actually can't believe a nationwide Canadian company can have this level of customer service. Thank heavens for credit card disputes, although now for me to try to buy the TV again it'll cost me $1k more than the sale price I bought it for, so that's fun. NEVER SHOP HERE.
Used garbage jl audio sent to me instead of new product
Ok so I ordered two “open box”set of jl audio component speaker set.first one arrived no issues looked like new unused,so no issues.second set took over a month to arrive.what I received was someone’s used and abused junk.the set arrived with out inner packaging;no hardware,no literature and the brackets for mids are broken and the tweeters have purple paint on them.i got a bunch of what im guessing are broken plastic pieces from what ever car or boat these were used in.scratches all over everything in others words just complete garbage.so I sent pictures waited a week for a reply sent multiple emails finally phoned today waited 20 minutes to speak to a lady who ultimately said that I have to deal with the stupid Gia lady who sent me emails asking for more detailed pictures.so now they want me to wait once again before making a decision.and instead of taking my suggestion of sending back to a close store 600kms vs 4900 kms they have refused.i did order another two sets of speakers from them but it will be my last time dealing with them period.

I would give a zero star rating if it was possible... This company has been horrible to deal with.
Visions Electronics received my order December 1 online and after 15 days had not shipped it. After contacting them several times I finally got one e-mail saying they had shipped the item December 17 ..or at least created a shipping label.. upon checking with Purolator, the courier that was to be used, the package has never been handed over. Visions has had my over $900 since December 1 and I can't get a hold of anybody. Do not buy anything from this company as they are terrible to deal with.

So I have given 2 1 star reviews and they dont show up on the items. They won't accept 1 star reviews which means their their write a "review" is a scam!

Its alright, they have some promotions its worth checking out occasionally. Wait a moment, they didnt honor the promotion today for the charger with phone. Cool. I guess thats on me for not double checking the receipt and assuming the current promotions are known so I paid more than planned with the more expensive item added. Anyways, Pro tip-dont actually physically go into the store unless you have too. Order online so that you can get the in store pickup bonus. If you go into the store and what you want is out of stock they will order it and you will need to go back to the store to pick it up, but you dont get in store pick up bonus. So skip the middleman. Yeah yeah, stores like to nickle and dime us so no surprise but keep it in mind. Dont physically go into the store if you want to make your dollar go further and still wish to support a local big box store rather than Amazon, etc. You will more likely get what you want if you skip the sales staff and do it yourself.
Poor customer service
I placed an online order to pickup in store. The in-store demo of this TV was poor quality so I attempted to cancel the order in store. The in store representative said that because I ordered using PayPal they couldn't cancel and I had to do it online. So I attempted online to cancel. I did an online cancelation and almost 2 weeks later it's still waiting to be picked up and not canceled. There is still a hold on my card for this item as well. There isn't an online customer service number to call, so I've had to contact paypal in attempt to get this canceled. I can only imagine what would happen if you had an issue with a damaged product with them. I won't be doing any large purchases with them in the future.
Poor service
I wasted my time driving across the city to pick up my order at a Purolator pickup location. I was unable to retrieve my order as all I was given was the tracking number, which apparently is insufficient. I attempted to create a Purolator account and it still didn't give me the pick up option I needed. What a total waste of time. Not impressed...

Absolutely garbage online store. I ordered a phone case and screen protector, both orders were shipped separately. Screen protector took forever to get here and the company Purolator wouldn't deliver to my townhouse! Had to request visions to pick it up. Phone screen wasn't even shipped and the GM of Visions just got back to me today saying it was lost in transit! Never shopping with Visions again, nor do I recommend anyone else do
I bought a camera online
I bought a camera online, paid for expedited shipping on 30 Nov, this was suppose to be a Christmas present for my daughter.
Now, two weeks later, there is no sign of the purchased item. When I log in to check the order, the status is "on hold", submitted an online ticket, no answer. Tried to call yesterday, been on hold for 30 min and the line got cut off. Finally got through on the phone line today, the agent told me that the item I purchased was a 'special item" and it is a final sale and with no refunds, further more, I have to wait 4-6 weeks because they "sold" it to me while not having it in stock.

Picked up an online order this morning
Picked up an online order this morning. I have never walked into a more unwelcoming store. Wow. Went to the desk and told a middle aged guy there what I was there for, I felt I was at the NY subways. Like I was bothering him. Then he handed me my card he said “it’s only good for 30 days, so don’t forget” the tv was put on the floor at my feet and that was it. No thank you, merry Christmas, or even have a good day. Moral there stinks. West Edmonton location. Makes me really want to rush back there.
Customer service is CRAPPY
Their customer service is incompetent/incomplete. You can not call and talk to a real person. They lie about this option and make you wait hours to get no one. Calling them endlessly over and over every 15 mins to have them hang up on you to start over. E mail service is just as bad but waiting days for a reply.
