AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! We met Nelson at a wedding fayre back in 2024 and instantly thought he was great. He gets fully involved with your day, he even greeted us after the ceremony and we had to play it cool like we didn’t know him! He really commits to the fall and then the entertainment levels were out of this world. Don’t bother with favours, put your money into making memories for your guests with Nelson!!

WOW!!! Firstly I want to apologise as I thought I had written a review about this WONDERFUL MAN.
Sorry Nelson I was in my wedding bubble, this got overlooked.
Nelson is just absolutely amazing in every way. From first looking to book,making enquiries, then followed with a prompt reply. To then arranging a date for a chat over the telephone. The call ended with me feeling like I had been chatting to a friend.

Nelson was a surprise for everyone it was the brides and Nelson’s secret. He was professional from mixing with guest at the welcome drinks, then serving meals at the wedding breakfast following up with washing up with the staff at the hotel. Even the staff in the kitchen were under the impression he was on a trial to potentially have a job!

Nelson put 1000% into entertaining guests 70 people were on their feet completely involved with singing dancing cheering laughing and still talking about the singing waiter to this day. Hence why I am writing this now.

Love you loads Nelson once met never forgotten truly a MUST at a wedding !!

Nelson absolutely smashed it at our wedding! 🎤
He had been around for most of the day, blending in so well that everyone genuinely thought he was one of the waiting staff. He had them completely fooled — especially the poor unsuspecting guests we had secretly picked for him to “fall” in front of!
He was so convincing that even one of our bridesmaids, who knew we had booked a singing waiter, genuinely thought he had fallen over and hurt himself. Her face was absolutely priceless!
Then our innocent-looking waiter suddenly turned into the entertainment and from there it was brilliant chaos — singing, laughing, serviettes whirling around above everyone’s heads and then a full-on conga snaking its way around the barn with everyone joining in. It was absolute mayhem in the best possible way!
His energy and enthusiasm were infectious and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. We had so many messages after the wedding from guests saying how amazing he was and how much fun he brought to the day.
If you want someone who can completely fool your guests, have everyone crying with laughter and then get a whole barn up singing and doing the conga, Nelson is absolutely your man. We loved every second!

What can I say!! Nelson was absolutely the cherry on the cake, chefs kiss to our wedding day and prep!
As someone with a lot if responsibility at work every day , I didn't want that as a bride, I needed to hand the reins to someone who could manage others , organise the day and take as much pressure off me as possible.
Someone to make sure things run smoothly, keep our guests happy with a warm welcome and someone to bring a buzz to the atmosphere .....
Step forward Nelson - the third most talked about person of our wedding ( aside from bride and groom but that could be debated)
He came with a calm, utterly professional and gracious approach, mingling with the crowd, serving drinks, making sure we were served our canaries and drinks too , taking time to gently warm up the guests and make everyone at ease, comfortable and welcome.
Then , he stacks it and the room falls silent, my NHS team Mates spring into action along with a police officer and begin delivering assessment and recovery from the floor, and wow did he do a fabulous acting job!!! They were got , hook line and sinker!!
Then the party began , such fun, everyone on their feet dancing and waving napkins, doing the conga challenge , kicking along to new York , men v women dance challenge to proud Mary - it was superb. From 8 years old to 84 years old, everyone was smiling and dancing along, swept up in utter joy and entertainment.
Nelson you are an incredibly talented , charismatic and professional man, our wedding was made top tier because of you and your master of mayhem package!
I worried it may be OTT for some but every single guest praised you , you read the room and you delivered on point.
I can't thank you enough for the calm you brought to a bit of drama with vendors , preventing me from a heated debate!
You made me feel able to relax, drink it all in and you made sure it gets weren't rushing us from one item to the next to fit their schedule, for this and the long chats, planning, reassurance and above and beyond kindness you showed to everyone on our incredible day, I cannot thank you enough- knowing what I know now, I will reckoned every bride to have you because you truly elevated the day beyond all expectations - an investment I'll be happy with always x

I arranged a charity Gala Ball and booked Nelson to deliver his magic and he certainly didn’t disappoint.
I really struggled struggled to mask my excitement, when I knew ‘the time’ was approaching!!!!!

Our guests were absolutely convinced that our waiter had fallen/passed out and seriously hurt himself and came rushing from every direction!

When he burst into song, the crowd erupted into laughter and disbelief and within milliseconds, he had engaged the entire room, who were all up on their feet congo-ing around our marquee!

I cannot recommend VIP Waiters enough.

I'm a wedding coordinator and recently had the pleasure of working with Nelson at a wedding. I have to be honest I've experienced singing waiters as a guest before and wasn't that impressed but Nelson's set was a completely different level! He got EVERYONE up and involved, even the guests who were reluctant. It was complete and utter madness and chaos in the best way. I highly recommend if you're looking for some amazing entertainment, I hope we get to work together again Nelson!

We booked Nelson for our daughter’s wedding, and he was absolutely incredible from start to finish. His performance completely exceeded our expectations and was one of the highlights of the day.

We booked Nelson to surprise our guests at a weekday wedding in July 2026. Only the Bride & Groom knew so when the waiter who had been serving drinks and food all day dramatically collapsed many people ran to his assistance. After a couple of minutes he pulled the microphone from his pocket and then burst into song. Our guests absolutely loved the next 40 minutes and after 6 or 7 high energy songs that we had chosen inn advance our exhausted guests returned to their seats and calmed down for the speeches.

We hired Nelson as our singing waiter as he was a recommended supplier at our venue. We had met him prior to the day and he’d called a few times to catch up and make sure everything was as we wanted.
Fast forward to the day, and he blended in with the venue staff, working hard as a waiter all day before the big reveal.
He fell over and was so convincing that even my paramedic step mum (Who knew prior) was worried that he’d genuinely hurt himself!
The track choices were great, he got everyone joining in and participating! My favourite part was the Congo lines, we went all over the venue signing our hearts out to summer of ‘69!

Oh my gosh what can I say, I booked Nelson as a surprise for my son and daughter in law on their wedding day, at Highley Manor. Nelson was fantastic from the minute we first spoke about the booking, until the last minute when he said goodbye to us. He is an absolute dream to work with and a very talented guy. Nelson was a surprise to our guests, from start to finish we couldn’t fault him, he blended in all day as a waiter for our venue Oaktree barn - untill he made his move.. he fell over and 2 of our guests got on there hands and knees to help him. Much to their knowledge he was about to sing!
He absolutely smashed it and the room roared with excitement!
Nelson made our day so electric with his voice and infectious enthusiasm in his job! If you don’t book him then you’re silly! One of our favourite parts of our day and we can’t Thankyou enough Nelson!!
