Highly recommend
Honestly, it has been a wonderful experience so far. I have had a lot of experience with different dating apps and matchmaking services and this is top notch. I feel that my matchmaker Francesca is on the same page as me, understands what I'm looking for and checks in frequently. The writers who make your profiles are exceptionally clever and the team who puts your profile together really puts you in the best light. I know this sounds too good to be true but trust me when I say that this service is LEGIT. In addition, they are not asking for tens of thousands of dollars up front (like many other matchmaking services who do not deliver AND take your money) and I feel that the quality here is unmatched. If you're tired of the dating game, swiping endlessly and getting nowhere, then this is for you. You won't regret it.

Sometimes an organizational scramble
The company is still personable but I found there were times when things were a little disjointed and choppy. For example, it was up to the last two hours before I was to have been scheduled for a date when Vida was still trying to get a hold of my date to determine where he wanted to meet for dinner. I wanted to plan, knowing that I may have to leave earlier depending on how far away the date was...and was still trying to get ready and accommodate the drive time there.

We set up the date with the best intentions, but an unexpected work-related issue forced your Bumble match to postpone the date at the last minute. Unfortunately this situation was out of our control, as your match needed to reschedule due to the unforeseen circumstances. I was glad to see he did invite you for a call later that day, and offered to reschedule the date for the following week!
I totally understand this was not the ideal outcome, as it was inconvenient for you as you were trying to prepare for your date. We’ve taken your experience and feedback into account, and we’ll continue to work on minimizing any disruptions to the extent that we can.

Good value and impressive profile enhancements
Melissa was assigned as my matchmaker for the process. Her and the team were quite kind, efficient, and professional in their interactions. There is good value for the price considering the long initial intake call, questionnaires, visual identity, and development of icebreakers and new profiles. Melissa took sufficient time getting to know me and I was most quite impressed and pleased by the prompts/bios written for my profiles. They were spot on and clearly articulated who I am and what I was looking for in a very compelling way. My photos were enhanced which was a nice improvement. I became more confident throughout the process and I feel more comfortable with how I am presented on the dating apps now. Although I haven't found the one, the service improved the response rate and increased the duration and quality of my conversations. Melissa and team were thoughtful and strategic in their interactions but at the end of the day, the match needs to be reciprocal and many matches would "ghost" or I would learn more about them and realize they are not the one for me. I gave 4 stars because although the service is excellent; this does not guarantee quality matches or finding the one. VIDA can only do so much! Navigating the dating apps has become a frustrating job since they are rigged with algorithms. With VIDA's guidance and knowledge, it helped with getting me noticed and seeing better results. I would highly recommend considering the service for anyone who may feel at a loss with the dating apps because you will definitely gain something positive from this experience.

I only had a short time with Vida, but check this out...
I only had a brief time with Vida Select. I had pics done and my basic profile was written. Vida Select chose the best pictures and polished my profile. Ms. Kedi Karlsen was a great support to get/keep things moving. The crazy thing is... An amazing lady loved my Pics and profile and reached out to me, along with a few others. It was a bit overwhelming, but we've been together for about 3 weeks, and "she" is breathtakingly, amazing. So... I am now off Vida Select, but they helped her and I to find each other and quickly at that. I couldn't be more pleased with Vida Select and their team.

I worked with Briona Sutherland and her team. Every step I was met with courteous professionalism and I will be using their service again if I need to. Vida Dating so far has been great
Shyne Gabriel and her helper Cristina on days off made my experience great along with the ghost writer. I haven't had so many dates in such a short time thanks to them. Shyne listened to any issues I had and would work with me financially if I had any issues. I've got so many dates that I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with them. Hopefully one of them will work out, but if not I'll be coming back to Vida. I really wasn't sure this would work, but amazingly it does. I would highly recommend Vida dating and the matchmaker Shyne Gabriel.

Vida, frustrating and a NO. The teams did not take direction. I'd write to use one profile and they would post another. This happened repeatedly. The writer's writing was at a low level. Many sentences didn't make sense or simply were not even complete sentences. The team has form letters they send on any issues that minimize the problem insinuiating that they just don't know your taste and need more time when the problem was basic grammar. Example, the swiping team sent a match that had obscene language and it was clear no one was looking at matches they would pick. Vida customer service was quick to say it was a matter of taste. No, they weren't reading profiles. The person was reported and taken off the site. Again, the form letter said they were getting to know my taste. It's a low level group, stay clear.

I genuinely regret that the service did not meet your expectations. That said, I am pleased we were able to facilitate a date that you said went well! At the end of the day, our approach is not everyone's cup of tea, and for some, placing trust in the process is a challenge. I completely understand.
However, there are some specifics you've mentioned that need clarification, since they've been shared on a public platform.
The profile that you found objectionable was not a match our team presented to you for approval. You took a screenshot of this particular profile and shared it with me, expressing your intent to report it to the dating app, before we had completed the vetting process.
And while I regret that you saw content you personally found objectionable, humor is subjective, as is what someone might consider obscene. In the case of this particular profile, the line of concern (“Not allowed to say I’m Rich, Hung, and Funny, but I can say I’m not bald, bitter, or broke”) could be taken as light-hearted banter by some, while others might find it distasteful. Both reactions are valid.
Learning the nuances of your personal tastes and preferences does take time, and our approach to your search is an evolving one. We continuously refine the search based on the feedback we receive, learning more about our clients' preferences as we progress. This iterative process is a cornerstone of how we've successfully matched thousands of clients.
Regarding your profile text, our writing team produced several drafts based on your inputs. I even had a call with you where we created a document together, going through what you wanted to express in your profile and noting specific words and sentences you wanted used. The writers then took your requested material and edited it to accommodate the character counts on the dating platforms. It was indeed unexpected to note that some of your criticisms pertained to this new version of your profile.
While the vast majority of our clients leave the service satisfied, on rare occasions our approach simply isn’t the right fit for a particular individual. This is precisely why we offer a flexible pay-as-you-go model, with monthly packages rather than long-term contracts.
I know our Client Success Manager reached out to you via email, and I was disappointed to see you didn’t respond to her before posting this review. I encourage you to reach out to her, but if not, then I wish you all the best in your search!

A fantastic experience with VIDA Select and I would recommend anyone who is on the fence to take that leap of faith.
I’d previously struggled to get traction with dating apps and didn’t enjoy the amount of time required for them.
However, VIDA Select made the process easy and I was surprisingly inundated with more numbers and prospective dates than I could handle!
Lorraine was exceptionally patient with my hectic schedule and made sure everything ran smoothly. She also gave excellent advice as required which was really appreciated.
I felt that the whole process was focused on presenting an honest picture of me in the best possible light.
I’ve paused the service for the moment… hopefully I won’t need to come back but if I do I will use VIDA again without hesitation.

Positive experience with Melissa and Team
I had a very positive experience with Vida. Melissa J was my point person and was really great. To make this service successful you do need to get involved to inject your personality, so It was more of a collaboration than expected. However, at the end of the day, things worked out, and I feel much better about my profiles than before signing up.

Good service
I was a customer of VIDA for 5 month.
At first I was with a matchmaker who hasn't worked out for me but than switched to matchmaker Nordika. She was really attentive, always had the time to listen to me and gave very useful advice. I had a very positive experience with her.
Also, I find that the writer did a good job at representing me, and writing things similar to what I could have written but in a way that it gets dates.
Overall, it's a good service and definitally worth a shot for people who are struggling to get real life dates through the dating apps or just don't have the time to spend hours on the apps typing messages.

What a wonderful service I found in ViDA. It does take a few weeks to set up and get going, but Simmy, my matchmaker, made it easy! She was professional n all communications during setup and in the online communications, as well as being a lovely human being. Great Customer Service
I did not have the greatest experience with this company initially. It initially felt like a waste of money. There was a lot of misinformation in my situation. When I spoke with sales, I was told my service would start after my online profiles were created and that was not accurate. It took almost 3 weeks to setup my profile which means I got 1 week of actual services. I also was not initially told I would need to pay for premium subscriptions to multiple dating apps so that was even more money I had to pay for them to "go live". The writing to my matches felt generic. My matchmaker Celia was kind a patient but she was only one part of the process.
In response to Celia's comments:
I was never told that my time started at my initial contact with the matchmaker. Also, 2 of the 3 platforms chosen were free but I was told the ONLY way the team could work on them was if I paid to upgrade.
The good news is, Rosalia reached out to me regarding the misinformation I received and immediately offered a solution. She is also doing further investigation to determine where the communication issues occurred. It didn't work out for me because of the misinformation but hopefully it will for you! Just know up front that your "clock" starts with your profile creation and it is HIGHLY recommended that you obtain premium memberships on dating sites that are offered for free. Also note, some dating sites require a subscription before you can even start using them. Do your research and you will likely have a better experience!

Your matchmaker Celia here! I'm sorry to hear about your concerns with the service. Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us and we value your feedback as it helps us continually improve.
As discussed during the onboarding process, optimizing your online presence typically takes around 7 to 10 days. Your setup, which was slightly outside this timeline, involved some additional deliberation on the selection of platforms. However, you received two full weeks of live matching and messaging service (between 06/18 and 07/02), not just one.
We are very transparent about this first month being crucial to setting you up for success, and that’s why we generally recommend a minimum of two months of active service. As Calvin told you, just as he does every client, service begins with your kick-off call with your matchmaker. The first month is heavily devoted to crafting your profiles and optimizing your photo lineup in order to be able to attract the kind of matches you’re looking for. Then, during the second month, we are able to focus solely on making those connections. I understand that in your case you signed up only intending to use the service for one month, and I was happy to be able to deliver you a date opportunity within that time frame.
I’m disappointed to see you still felt there was an issue with “misinformation,” as we had several calls where I explained how the premium subscriptions on the dating apps work. While I understand you felt it was not explained adequately during your initial call, it is an aspect of the service that is very clearly spelled out in our simple 2-page service agreement every client signs prior to starting.
Clients are responsible for any platform fees, and while we can recommend non-paid platforms, we often suggest paid platforms as they offer an additional level of screening. This typically leads to higher-quality matches as people who are willing to pay for a platform tend to be more serious about their search. In your case, we used a combination of both, only utilizing one platform that requires a paid subscription.
I wish you had been more direct about not liking the tone and style of the writing! As you know, for the profiles we have an editing process that allows you to provide feedback, suggestions, comments, etc. to ensure they are a genuine representation. And while you did make a few edits, overall you seemed satisfied with the final product. You even commented “I like it!” on one of the suggested intro options, and wrote, “This is perfect!” when you approved the final drafts. And if you were concerned that the messages sent on your behalf sounded “robotic and nothing like you”, your writer would have been happy to tweak the approach to be a more authentic representation of your style. I double checked our correspondence and I don’t see any feedback from you regarding this at the time. Of course, I can’t fix a problem I don’t know about!
VIDA Select has helped thousands and thousands of singles find their ideal partners since 2009, but as with any matchmaking service, it’s not the perfect fit for every client. While negative reviews are thankfully few and far between, as 99% of our clients get dates and 78% of our clients meet someone special after just 3 months of service, there are actually a few negative reviews right here on Trustpilot. The vast majority of our clients leave happy, and I’m so sorry that you weren’t one of them.

Excellent Customer Experience and Results
I was hesitant to try VIDA because I had a bad experience with a similar service, but VIDA went above and beyond what I expected. Their staff is respectful and hyper responsive, they listened to my feedback and adjusted their service accordingly, and they were kind and friendly. My direct Matchmaker (Nordika) was basically my best friend.
Something to be aware of is that it does take about a month to build momentum with this service before results start happening. At first, I was underwhelmed by how many dates I was going on, but I two months in I ended up having to tell my Matchmaker to stop actively looking for new dates because I was going on more than I felt comfortable with.
