I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company. Two weeks ago, they won the bid for my car on Carwow, and it has been a complete disaster ever since. After initially contacting me to arrange a pickup, they cancelled at the very last minute. I then heard absolutely nothing for days. When they finally did get back to me, they suggested picking the car up between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM—completely ignoring the fact that people actually work and have lives.
The lack of communication is staggering. I spent an entire week trying to reach them, but they intentionally ignored every single one of my messages and calls. It got so ridiculous that I had to use my work phone to call them; surprise, surprise, they picked up immediately when they didn't recognize the number.
To make matters worse, a representative named Adam lied to me over the phone, claiming that *I* was the one who cancelled the sale. This was a blatant lie, especially since I had been in constant contact with Carwow and the company itself confirming interest. They promised to pick up the car this Wednesday but never provided a time. I stayed in all day waiting, and once again, they ignored multiple phone calls.
I have now officially cancelled the sale and reported this unacceptable behavior to Carwow. They should not be allowed on the platform. All they have done is mess me about and waste my time. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way, however we would like to clarify a few points.
We can provide a screenshot of the email received from Carwow confirming that the sale had been cancelled by you (as the seller), which is why we did not proceed further at that stage.
As a business, once we were notified that the sale had been cancelled, we moved forward and allocated our time and resources to purchasing other vehicles.
It’s also important to clarify that we are not contractually obligated to complete a purchase simply because a bid has been won — any purchase remains at our discretion.
With regards to collection, we did previously provide a time and date window, however you advised that you were working and unavailable at that time and is the reason we suggested coming later in the evening to collect the car, however as you declined this made scheduling more difficult
In terms of communication, we were in the process of updating our phone systems, which may have caused some temporary disruption. Our lines have now been fully updated — you will notice that our current contact number differs from previous listings (as shown on our AutoTrader adverts).
Additionally, in relation to your comments about Adam — he is part of the sales team and is not responsible for organising vehicle collections, so there may have been some misunderstanding in communication.
We always aim to provide a professional and efficient service, and it’s unfortunate that on this occasion there was a breakdown.

Easy experience

Great customer service - Adam was amazing to deal with. Real great guy, really humble and gave us great discount. I don't want to over do it but honestly he was really friendly and understanding. Seems like a very genuine guy, he explained to us that its a family run business. Great service and not to forget the car - very solid car in very good condition.

Bought a VW Golf R, no pressure during the process and very friendly
Went above and beyond with prep work.

Updated review after MOT/Service in June 2026. Apparent accident damage highlighted by independent garage that was not mentioned during the sale of the car, highlighted by paintwork and overspray inside of fuel cap. Email sent asking if this was known by seller at time of sale, no reply received. I can't state if this poor repair was conducted by Velocity Autohaus, but can say that is was never highlighted at the time if sale and given that they are a car dealership I am surprised to have received no response. Also concerned about lack of clarity in regards to the warranty they sold at what would appear to have been a greatly inflated price from the invoice on the warrant website. You work hard for your money, put trust in a person that appears to be ok and are left feeling poorly done by. I have left 3 months to receive a reply from the original email to the dealer to allow an appropriate response - update left in August 2026.

Since you purchased the car around a year and a half ago, our contact details have changed, including both our phone number and email address. It appears your original email went to our old address, which we no longer monitor, so we had no knowledge of your concerns until recently.
Regarding the accident damage and paintwork, we want to be completely transparent. We had no knowledge of any previous accident damage, repairs or overspray when we sold the vehicle. We purchased the Golf R from a private seller, and nothing relating to previous accident damage was disclosed to us or identified to us at the time of purchase.
The only repair we carried out was to the front bumper — a cosmetic paintwork issue which was discussed with you before your viewing, and which you were happy for us to have repaired as part of the car's preparation. We did not carry out any other repairs or paintwork to the vehicle, and we certainly did not knowingly withhold any information from you.
Regarding the warranty, this was an optional product and, like any dealer add-on, its price includes our commercial margin, which was clearly agreed at the point of sale. We appreciate that this can look different when compared against the underlying invoice, and we're happy to talk you through exactly how that price was arrived at.
Since becoming aware of your concerns, we've also tried contacting you ourselves by both email and WhatsApp, but unfortunately haven't received a response. We'd genuinely like the opportunity to discuss this with you directly. Please contact us at info@velocityautohaus.co.uk and we'll be happy to discuss your concerns.
We're disappointed that your experience has left you feeling this way, especially as your original review reflected a positive experience with us. F82 M4 - Adam - Top, Top Man!!
I just purchased an F82 BMW M4 from Adam at Velocity Autohaus. From the very start, Adam’s communication was on point, he answered all my questions throughout the process and nothing was ever too much. I first travelled down to see the car and the only day I get off is Sunday, Adam made sure he was available. Once I had reserved the car, Adam made sure he was available at 8:30 for me to travel and collect the car (there was even enough fuel in the car to get back). I had some questions post-sale and Adam came back to me with answers every single time. To some people, buying a £25k+ car is nothing but for me, this was a bucket list moment and Adam ensured this moment was truly memorable.
I 100% recommend this dealership. Thank you.

Velocity Autohaus were very professional and polite. I saw a car on Autotrader and gave them a call to enquire. As I was quite a distance away they sent over all service records and information on WhatsApp and answered all my queries honestly. The process of placing a reservation fee and organising a time for viewing and collection was well explained and seamless. Would definitely recommend and will be my first place to look for next car.
