I applied for a quote online and am now being harassed on my mobile, they call me constantly throughout the day and either hang up when I answer or stay on the line and when I tell them not to call me again they hang up and call a few hours later. Avoid!

Huge mistake!

I gave my details to this company in order to get a moving quote from them and since then they have sent me several spam emails a day. When I unsubscribed from their mailing list they then started calling me over 12 times a day! Sometimes I get several calls only 3 minutes apart. (Ridiculously early in the morning or as late as 9pm at night.)

When I've spoken to them on the phone they have just cut me off repeatedly. They are extremely aggressive with their pursuit of a potential customer and I'm still trying to get rid of them two weeks later.

Avoid them.

I am sorry to say it but I really would'nt recommend this company. The customer service is disastrous!
We moved with VanPlus 2 times. The first time the job went fine but we were overcharged. We made a complaint but we were never answered.
The 2nd Time we had a pick up date and time set in advance, but nobody was there on the D-day... When we contacted the customer service they acknowledged that there was a mistake from their side but did nothing to arrange something for us.
I hope they will get better un the future..

Worst Company ever

They stole money from me, I booked a van at 8:35 however it was 30 minutes late so I canceled it and to cancel it you would have to pay £56.99 again basically £110 were spent in this freaking scam never use this stupidity! disgusting.

Disgusting service. Cancelled twice. Avoid!

Not even worthy of the 1 star. Cannot go any lower. Dodgy as. Told me a van was available, booked it, validated my payment, then told me no driver was available. Re-arranged twice to be told still no driver available, and because they had confirmed my booking I was charged £25, but still no driver available. Will not refund me the charge even though still no driver available. Do not use them ... I don't even think they have any available vans/drivers. Absolute scammers, you hear of companies like these on Watchdog... may be my next port of call.

They gave me a quote on the wrong size van and refuse to give my money back. I called my bank and will be disputing the transaction. Hopefully I will get my money back eventually. They also refused to match a lower quote I got. Bunch of scammers.

SCAM - AVOID

They did not turn up. Then lied about their server crashing. Absolute sham company.

impossible to get a hold of them, they charge you first even if they don't have a driver. My driver never showed up and I'm still trying to get in touch with them to request a refund.

NEVER AGAIN

Our driver Ali turned up two and a half hours late after having ignored all our phone calls Didn't even apologise then tried to charge us for 2 hours 15 minutes despite having arrived only 55 minutes earlier. Swore at my pregnant girlfriend at me when we of course said no. Absolutely terrible service. Then we find that they tried to charge our card. Called him up and he threatened us on the phone.

Avoid at all costs

This company is just terrible. I advise anyone to not use this company. Drivers are not trustworthy and unreliable. Customer service is unhelpful.
You will be let down with no van if you rely on them.

Absolutely awful company, they told me ide get a van that night, the van never turned up. We had agreed it would cost £40s but that no money would be taken out my account until the job was done, this company took £80s out of my account and I phoned three times to ask them about it and they hangup as soon as I explain whats happened.

Please do not use this company its a scan n I'm going to the police

This company is vile and disgusting. I was initially quite happy to only pay 56 pounds for a mini van, since I was only moving from one flatshare to another. However, I requested for the van to arrive between the hours of 12:00-13:00. Around 12:30 I call the driver and request his estimated time of arrival, since I had to be at my new place at a specific time. He tells me; he's quite far away and won't arrive on time, that he can arrive between 14:00-15:00, which was not possible for me. That is when he proceeds to say: "don't worry, you can cancel here, and I can contact a friend of mine to come by and do the job." I ask whether his 'friend' is with the company and he says: "no, he's with a private company."

I decided that I found it too shady, and said I will cancel and that it was quite unacceptable for this to happen. Then I find out about the cancellation fee, 56 POUNDS!! I basically paid twice for no job. Upon reading these reviews (which I honestly should have done before--lesson learned) it looks as if no one has actually gotten a service from this company. Only cancellations and no-shows.

In summary, the conduct of this company is vile and disgusting and like many other 'costumers' I will be contacting the Citizens Bureau.

People,report these scammers to Citizen Advice Bureau (Trading Standards,Consumer Rights).

Found site in a panic as need a removal van for next day and used online tool to try to get estimate.Gave up on it when could not decide what size van required so clicked out. I immediately my phone rang and agent started the hard sell. Whilst she was talking I started reading reviews and doubts set in.
I wanted to pay cash for service but was told could not and needed to give bank details.Felt reluctant but was told no risk money not taken until after service.
As it turned out my bank declined payment (suspicious activity not lack of funds) to which I was delighted and told agent to forget it and ended call.
The price quoted was £132 and according to my bank security team who contacted me immediately they attempted to take £176.
But it did not stop there as the next day they applied for the money again and took it on a recurring payment. It is impossible to make a complaint by phone or online and my bank are now dealing with this.
Do not use!

I paid £56 for a van to come within the hour. When it didn't show up I called them to ask what had happened, and apparently they'd forgotten to order one.

When I cancelled, they charged my bank and now refuse to give me a refund. Reading through the reviews below, it seems this is a regular thing.

Horrible. Scheduled a month out for a 10 am start, quick job...10:30 no call from driver so I called...he didn't know about the booking or thought it was later and was on a job that was going to take much longer....finally after talking to someone at vanplus via chat as that is the only way you can, they got another driver, he finally showed at 8pm...entire day wasted chasing them. I should have just rented a van myself and driven on the wrong side of the road, would have been cheaper and more efficient. UK your customer service stinks!
