Low Quality Furniture
Hi,
I bought Sofa and Chase from VCF a few year's ago. I complained about it having Imperfections, Poor Quality/Workmanship.
It was Manufactured in another Country.
Tufted, several Buttons popped out, hanging and sagging Material underneath, very Annoying and Embarrassing.
I actually wanted it replaced, not Repaired as During a period of Accepting and Scheduling the Repairs, my Husband was very I'll and was not wanting to have Repair people in our Home, and I knew more Buttons would probably follow, there are many, one actually flw off completely, I feel Spring's in seating area, and low Spots on top of the Back and Arms, and inner Left Side of Sofa, also Feather Light to pick up, again Poor Quality, we have no small Children or heavy People on it and another Sofa we sit or lay on.
I won't Buy another piece of Furniture from VCF again, as they should have replaced it as I asked. Sitting on the Sofa today I got so miserable as I am a Senior with low Income not able to replace it Financially, this prompted me to Review and let other's know.
My Husband has been very Sick and he was priority, it's been a while now, no one still offered to Replace, just kinda Patch up poor quality Furniture, and I was right more of same has happened to it since... Again it came with Imperfections and Damage, New.
Wish I had something good to say, still making Payments on something I am very unhappy with since Day 1...
BUYER BEWARE - THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS!
On 11/18/23 we purchased a beautiful Black Kitchen Island with 4 chairs. The total price with delivery was $1,600. After 1 1/2 months the black paint started to peel and chip. A service rep came to our house and said that was normal when they paint over this type of wood and that maybe we should consider buying a piece of glass to put on the top as it will continue to happen. Purchasing a piece of glass for the top is not an option as this table has a fold-down leaf, nor did we want a glass-top table. The service rep led us to believe that we would be able to return this table and select something else. We waited over a week to hear from Value City and we finally called. They stated that this was "NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR" and they could do nothing for us. This is not normal wear and tear as it was chipping where no one had been sitting and it was only 45 days. There was definitely a defect in the process of painting this piece, and they refused to do anything. Even if we had purchased an extended warranty it would have been voided since they considered this normal wear and tear. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and never do business with them again!
The absolute worst furniture ever
The absolute worst furniture ever. Have had new sectional for 2 years now and it is falling apart. Paid extra for extended warranty (joke) and filed a claim as the frame is broken and they did absolutely nothing. Stay away and go somewhere else.

Good Quality and Reasonable Price
I purchased a dining set and had to wait over a month, but it was worth the waiting at the end. My dining table came in two pieces, so it required some assembly. Diallo and Tyler came to put the table together. They did a great job putting it together and even fixed a leg of one of the chairs that had a little gap. It worked out at the end.
Not surprised at the LOW rating
I'm surprised there are only 64 (well 65 now with mine) reviews. I am not surprised of the 3 star rating. I am here to give 2 stars. It would have been 5 stars but my delivery was 2 days late. The merchandise itself is 5 stars and I gave it that on their website but my personal experience with the delayed shipping is 2 at best. They also refused to give me a delay credit. It said it was going to ship from Baltimore which is 1 hours from me but ended up shipping from California. Thankfully, it was not damaged from shipping which is usually typical.

I purchased an almost $4000 couch in August from Value City. They delivered on Wednesday September 6. They brought the wrong center module so they said they would exchange it and deliver it later. It was scheduled without my input, as Wednesdays are my only day off so I should have been called. It was rescheduled for September 20th. On September 11th, the headrest became stuck in the upright position and we noticed a pinhole on the back of the couch, we called immediately. We were told it would be fixed and we said no, it’s only been here 5 days, it needs replaced, it’s a brand new unit. They said they would call back about it, never called back, we couldn’t get through to the delivering store. I finally called the corporate office. They said they would exchange the defective piece but it could not be delivered at the same time as the center piece so they scheduled for that on September 28th. On September 19th I called to confirm the 20th delivery and they said it had been rescheduled! No one called me! I cleared my morning for delivery!! I called corporate office again, they said both pieces would be delivered Thursday September 28th so I arranged for someone to be here. They called Monday the 25th to confirm. I then received a phone call with a voicemail Tuesday evening the 26th to say they moved my delivery date to October 10th!!! This is the third time! And my first payment is due October 6th!!! I have the wrong piece and a dysfunctional end!!! They’ve done NOTHING to remedy the situation!! DO NOT BUY from this company!!

Horrible experience from the start! Order a bed in September of 2022 and did not get it until the end of November 2022. I Was TOLD THE WRONG DATE SEVERAL DIFFERERENT TIMES. ONE TIME WE TOOK OFF WORK TO WAIT ON DELIVEREY AND THEY NEVERED SHOWED. I had to call and ask what happened. Almost a year later my bed broke down. And I said ALMOST a year later. NOT EVEN A YEAR! I did purchase the warranty something called Pure Promise. Come to find out the bed we purchase was no longer in stock. So, we were told to find a bed frame for replacement. How are we supposed to do that, and we also purchased nightstands that were a specific color. Basically, we have to pick out mitch match Funiture. This was my first-time financing Funiture. I really didn't believe in it. I tried to give VALUE CITY A CHANCE! BUT NEVER AGAIN! MY RECOMMENDATION FOR WHOEVER IS READING THIS IS TO NOT GO WITH VALUE CITY FUNITURE! OR IF YOU ALREADY DID? IM SORRY FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE AS WELL! And of course i called to see what they could do for me. Nothing was the response and that they were sorry.

Got a sectional for 5K plus but very very disastrous after-sale service. They promised a 5-year warranty but two parts of the furniture got broken within the first year and one part got stained. They won't even acknowledge receipt of the complaint of the broken parts. Why do people pay a fortune for warranty? We paid about $700 for warranty. A gigantic rip-off

We went home and talk about it called up there and ask if we could just get the couch that was in for the same price instead of the bedside. They said yes so we went up and changed our order. Then we were told the next day that we didn't get approved or something. That was the same exact price and we didn't get nothing but a bed mattress. Which was Over Is priced

Ordered furniture on March 14th and was told it would be arriving on May 20th then we were called back and was told it would be here April 21st then we received another call and was told our furniture would not be here until August so we went to get our refund.
