Die Damen und Herren von Valuebasket haben seit 13.06.2016 von mir 2000€ und weigern sich strikt mir das Geld zurückzuerstatten.
Ich habe am 13.06.2016 ein Surfacebook bestellt für 2000€ es wurde bei Bestellung ein Liefertermin von 5-8 Tagen zugesagt. Nach 8 Tagen habe ich die Firma kontaktiert und die haben mir erklärt, dass aufgrund der großen Nachfrage zu Verzögerungen kommt (auf der Homepage waren nach wie vor 2 Stück auf Lager zu sehen) Weiters werden die Produkte nicht wie angedeutet von England verschickt sondern von HongKong. Ich bin am 24.06.2016 von meinem Vertrag zurückgetreten, da die Firma ValueBasket mehrfach den Kaufvertrag gebrochen hat (Liefertermine nicht eingehalten, weitere Kontaktanfragen unbeantwortet gelassen, Terminanfragen unbeantwortet). Deshalb forderte ich die Firma auf mir den gesamten Betrag in EURO (ich habe in GBP bezahlt) zurückzuerstatten, da die Firma Valuebasket durch ihren Verschulden mir Unanehmlichkeiten verursacht hat, sollen auch sie als Verursacher für alle entstehenden Kosten aufkommen. Die Firma Valuebasket ist NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN. Diese Firma nimmt Ihr Geld sofort, jedoch bekommen Sie weder ein Produkt noch bekommen Sie dann Ihr Geld zurück. Ich habe voriges Jahr eine Kamera bei Valuebasket.com gekauft und diese kam mit mehr als einer Woche Verspätung auch an was schon nervig war aber der Preis war enorm günstig. beim Surface hätte ich mir 150GBP gespart, jedoch brauche ich den Laptop für die Arbeit und musste mir nun 2000€ ausborgen um mir einen Laptop zu kaufen (habe ihn jetzt in einem Geschäft gekauft für das gleiche Geld).
Bitte nehmen Sie meinen Rat an und vermeiden Sie diese Firma, diese Firma stiehlt Ihr Geld, Diese Firma liefert ausser Ausreden und Entschuldigungen gar nichts! Diese Firma erstattet Ihnen nichteinmal Ihr Geld zurück. Diese Firma verursachte bei mir vier Wochen Sodbrennen und extreme Magenkrämpfe, Ich würde wenn ich es mir noch leisten könnte die Firma Valuebasket auf Schadenersatz und Schmerzensgeld verklagen da ich seit Wochen schlecht schlafe da ich nicht mehr weis wie ich meine Rechnungen bezahlen soll.

No-Value Basket
The story begins with an online purchase of a camera - from what seems like a reputable company with fabulous deals. Oh, how wrong I was....
I realised an hour after my purchase that I had been scammed. As predicted, the item never arrived. I was sent into a spiral of 'apologies for the inconvenience caused' posts. But I highly doubt the validity of this apology.
At the end of 8 long, working days I contacted Mastercard, who already knew of ValueBasket's dodgy online antics. The gentleman on the phone had actually had a call about Value Basket that very same day!! Thank you to Mastercard for saving the day and refunding my £600 - it was most certainly lost in the Value Basket scam pit. I feared it lost for ever in a haze of emails.
I must reiterate - this company is NO-VALUE Basket. (If you have already purchased something here, contact your card provider immediately!).

How to get your money back; Shocking & debilitating experience
I saw all the bad reviews, but being a hopeless optimist I thought they are exaggerations. I called first to make sure that they have the Samsung phone in the stock and I was assured that they do have it and the order will be processes 3-5 working days and arrive after 5-8 days.
2 months later and after at least 50 calls/ emails I got no confirmation of the delivery date nor the date of the refund. The e-mails seem to be standard replies and not to have too much connection with what one writes and the phone line is the most of the time not working.
The only way I managed to get my money back was to report them to the Chinese Embassy in London: you will find the 3 email addresses (embassy, consulate & press) on their website
giving them the Valuebasket registered address in HK:
Hong Kong Unit 1505 15/F Yu Sung, Boon Building , 107-111 Des Voeux Road Central. Putt Valuebasket in cc so they will be aware of your serious approach to their scam.
I got my money back in 48h from the date I wrote to the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in London with Value basket in cc
I found the experience shocking and debilitating so think several times if you want to take the risk and do the same mistake as me to doubt people who wrote the worst reviews here. I have to apology to everyone who made the effort to write the warnings which I didn't listen to.
Valuebasket tried to block my review telling to the Trustpilot that I was not their customer, so I have to prove that they lie.
Good luck to everyone to get your money back and if you don't succeed otherwise try my method.

Why are you charging?
Why did you charge me for a Samsung phone S7 edge on the 2016-05-03 that you allready know you are not going to ship in the next few Days. It is nothing but fraud!! You sent me this on the 21th of june saying:"Good news! Your order (1046297) left our warehouse and is in transit to your local depot for final delivery. You will receive another email with the tracking number once processed. Stay tuned! " And now i read on my status that it is delayed. IS IT ON ITS WAY OR NOT????
I supose to bring it on my 4 week vacation in my home in Spain on the 1st of june were i need a dual-sim phone are you going to deliver what you said you allreday had on the 3rd of may?

Save yourself the disappointment and order elsewhere
Do not order from ValueBasket.com. On the 3rd of May, I placed an order for a FitBit Blaze. I chose ValueBasket as they were one of a few companies that were charging a lower price for this product. I was given an estimated shipping time of 2-5 days and an estimated delivery time of 5-8 days, just in time for my birthday. On the 18th of May, I had still not received any information as to when my product was being delivered, so I decided to contact the company. I was reassured that the product would be delivered to me, they just had a small backlog due to unforeseen increases in orders. I was fine with this and continued to wait for my product. The next time I contacted ValueBasket was the 24th of May, to which I was given the same response and was also told that my order would be moved to priority listing, so still I waited. I contacted ValueBasket again on the 31st of May and the 8th of June where they were unable to present me with any new information, at this point I was feeling as if they has stolen money out of my account and they were unwilling to provide any new information to me. Eventually, on the 20th of June, they finally admitted that they had, in fact, ran out of stock for the FitBit Blaze and would not be getting any more in stock. They tried to resolve the issue by telling me I could have a different product, which I denied as I have lost all faith in the company. So take this as a warning, do not buy items that you want from ValueBasket as they will more than likely not arrive.

What's happened to ValueBasket?
I have made several purchases from ValueBasket, which have been excellent prices and service, even in March this year a Nikon camera despatched after only a week. However, I placed an order for 2 Nikon lenses on 14th April and for 1 Nikon lens on 22nd April at a cost of over £1420 but am STILL WAITING for them to be despatched to me. I have sent a number of e-mails complaining at the delay and asking when they will be despatched to me, however, all I get are replies asking me to be patient and that they are experiencing "slight delays" due to a large influx of sales. I cannot believe it has taken over 10 weeks and still no sign of the lenses I ordered being despatched. I have e-mailed them again today to ask for their urgent attention, if they can't send the lenses I have purchased, why don't they say so and refund my money with some compensation as such an unacceptable lengthy delay, so I can buy them from somewhere else that can supply them? It is so frustrating being fobbed off all the time, how difficult can it be to pick 3 lenses off the shelf, package and post them? It has ruined what should have been a very enjoyable expensive purchase! Come on ValueBasket, send me my lenses without any more delays!!!

Please be patient in waiting. Dont try to be refunded
I ordered Canon 100D on 6th Jun. After 10 days, i still hadnt received any email for delivering. I tried to contact with valuebasket for information. They said my order be delayed because of some reasons. I also wanted to cancel that time but tried to be patient. Then today 22 Jun i just received email that my camera be delivered to Singapore already and end of the day i can get it. Woa, i'm so happy. I think this website got some problem in logistic, but if you try to be patient in waiting, dont try to cancel, maybe they will deliver for you. Because if try to cancel, maybe will take some time for them to do refund process, you will be waste more time and end up dont have anything.
Not to be trusted
I wished I had come across this review site before I decided to purchase my item via value basket. It was a moment of folly and attracted by its low attractive prices for Samsung tab S. I purchased it on the 4th May 2016. Like almost everybody else, I was in dismay that my order had not been delivered after one week from thr date of order. I was still hopeful that my order will be eventually delivered but after one more week of excuses provided by value basket, I decided to cancel my order on 20th May 2016.
Now my chase for the refund began. Till today on the 12th June 2016, I had yet to receive my refund. Similar to others after countless of email correspondences, they are just too good with loads of excuses such as using the words top priority, expedite, apologize for inconvenience. The thing is they just cannot deliver everything they had promised from the beginning.
A word of caution is that not to be lured in by those attractive prices. It will only be regret. I went to buy my samsung tab s from a more reliable online store, got my purchase already in good condition. But my refund from value basket still remains a big question mark.
Value basket does give a bad name for e-commerce. I can only hope that my refund will be in sight soon by next week. I will be updating my reviews on the progress of my refund. Such a painstaking online purchase experience.

Abysmal
Utterly let down by this site. Placed an order for a new phone, with estimated delivery of 5-10 working days. A month later and the item hadn't even dispatched, and all enquiries were fobbed off with vague references to stock issues. Not sure if the site is even legitimate.

Worst Online Experience Ever
a review from the Netherlands: I ordered a Samsung Galaxy S7 and accessories on the 22nd of April because of the good price (618.57 euros total). After 8 working days had passed and it had not yet arrived I mailed Valuebasket asking if they could provide me with an indication on when it would arrive. In their reply they simply said their was a delay because of a great backlog in orders they had to process. I got the same vague answer when I called the company later.
After waiting 26(!) working days, 18 more than their self-proclaimed delivery deadline I finally decided to cancel the order on June 1. After waiting another 7 days, the time it would take to refund my money at most, I mailed Valuebasket again, to ask what happened with my refund. As expected the reply gave no indication at all on when the 618.57(!) euros would be transfered back to my bank account.
Today is the 20th of June, almost two months after I first send out my order and 14(!) working days since I cancelled this order and asked for a full refund. This means that it has already been twice as long as the time Valuebasket told me it would take at most. And I still have no idea when to expect my money back, if it comes back at all!
If I don't receive a full refund by the end of this week I am forced to report this to the 'Consumentenbond'. I will furthermore have to contact my bank (and even report this to the police), in order to figure out what legal steps I can take to finally get my money back, because this just seems criminal to me.
TL;DR: please don't order anything here, go anywhere else. It might be a little more expensive, but at least you actually receive the product you ordered and the service you will receive is most likely also better! :(

Refund
Ordered a camera based on the info on the page.
Order was going to take to long so I cancelled. Was promised money returned within 3-5 business days.... It's now been a month.
Have sent many emails and all I am given is empty promises.
This is over $1,000 of money which I was relying on having returned when I cancelled.
Really not impressed and will be reporting to ACCC if money is not in my bank within next 2 business days.
A Basket Case?
I ordered and paid £380 for a Nikon camera on May 14 before looking at the reviews . Of course, on the strength of the reviews I should not have bothered, and for the next month I was in a state of high anxiety. After three weeks the camera had not arrived, and I cancelled the order. After sending two emails - firm but polite, the refund arrived in my account on June 16 to my great relief. I have now lobbed out a little bit extra with a company that has had great reviews.
There was a lot of worry on my part, especially as the emails from Value Basket appeared to be written from a template and therefore gave the impression that the company was in melt down, but on reflection, and guessing how their business model may work, they have to be in a logistical mess, or else they may simply be making money by borrowing ours.
I've therefore learnt with some pain that buying online is not just about price. The service has to compete with other online suppliers on quick delivery. If it's slow we're bound to get agitated and upset and in many cases angry.
No updates, extreme delay no delivery...
I've place d my order on 15 of may. Till today no sign
of package sent to me. Yes price was good but if I knew that I will not get my goods at all I would pay more to get it at all. Now I am worried that that this company is scam as they took my money and are not even interested to provide clear information about delivery. Not to mention delivery at all.
I amnow considering to contact my bank and cancel the payment as seems that shall not trust that company any more.

Almost two month passed, I got some general mails asking for more patience and few more days. So actually nothing meaningful at all. Think that if delivery shall explicitly tell customer (immediate payment, delivery maybe in this century).... Extremely upset and disappointed.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE EVER
Ordered a camera (£1154.98) on 15th over May 2 weeks before a Wedding. Their timescales and I quote:
"With our FREE Standard Delivery service, our estimated timeframes are:
- Ready to be shipped: 2 - 5 working days
- Delivered: 5 - 8 working days"
are totally irrelevant. Having sent numerous emails trying to find out why my order had not been despatched, couldn't phone because of a so called 'Technical issue', checked the site and there were supposedly 9 in stock. By the time it was time to travel to the event I still had not received the order so checked again and still 3 in stock. Also, they take the money from your account immediately and not when sending the goods like other companies do but if they were forced to do that this would not happen.
I had tried to explain the urgency of needing the camera for the wedding however everything I said was totally ignored and the replies were simply standard email replies stating 'a short delay' or 'some delay' or 'a large backlog of orders' and 'the order will be despatched asap.' Total garbage. When I returned several days later after the wedding the camera still had not been despatched so again I checked the site and sent yet another email and received the same response 'doing all we can, backlog of orders, monitor closely, order fulfilled with minimal delay' etc., etc.
Then, Friday 3rd June, decided enough is enough so I managed to get through on the phone and was told it could be at least another week or more. Told them this was totally unacceptable therefore cancel the order and issue a refund. Also told it would take 2-5 days to cancel and more for the refund to appear on the account. When they took the money on Sunday 15th May it appeared on the account on the Tuesday.
Monday 13th June, (21 working days) over a week after the supposed refund and still not processed let alone in my account. I sent a final email and threatened I would be initiating a refund by the Credit Card company for breach of contract under Section 75. Finally had the account credited today Thursday 16th June, one month and a day since I ordered.
My advice, do not order from this company and make sure all your friends and relatives are made aware. Shame can't give less than 1 star.

J'ai acheté un téléphone portable le 1/09/2014. Il tombe en panne en 2015. Valuebasket fait une garantie de 3 ans mais sont incapables de réparer ! J'ai retourné 2 fois le téléphone, à chaque retour VB conserve l'appareil entre 2 et 3 mois et il revient non réparé !! Je ne peux tjrs pas me servir de mon téléphone... Suite au prochain épisode.

Warranty is a joke, avoid this company!!!
First they sold me an international version of the Olympus TG-4 with not mention of it on their website which the international version has no warranty coverage from Olympus and I was having power button problems a month after owning and figured oh well I can send it back to Olympus maybe Value Basket will make things right. Wrong! I sent it back after jumping through all the hoops, even had to send video proof of the problem and pictures of the package, etc. They ship the camera to Hong Kong and all I get is we found no issue and they sent it back so much for all that work. I get it back same issue, but even more often. So I contact them again and sent it back again and go through all the hoops again. This time they just told me that the small scratches on the rear lcd is abnormal wear and they won't do anything and want to charge me to ship it back. I tried arguing my point and all they can do is shift blame and are accusing the courier for damage. Worst service I've ever received. The warranty is a joke and being outsourced to China.

I really don't recommend ValueBasket!!!
My dad bought from them a camera and he had problems with shipping, but finally he got it. Then, on April 10, I ordered camera worth ~$1000 (the camera was in stock). After few days I contacted them - I just wanted to know when they will dispatch my order. Worthless reply... I sent few more help desk tickets and never get worth response. It's almost 2 months since I put my order - no camera, no money back for now. About one week ago they contacted me they don't have that camera on stock and because they're proud of customers satisfaction I can get some discount so I can order something else. I said, again, I want my money back - immediately! No response for now, so almost every day I'm creating new ticket with topic like "I didn't get my refund back". I really think about contacting local customer service, police and lawyer...
Finally on 2016-06-04 they told me my refund will be at my banking account in 4-7 working days.
Now, on 2016-06-15, it's 8 days now and I still don't see my money!
UPDATE 1:
2016-06-24: Still no money on my bank account!!! They're ignore my tickets. I'm not a bank that allows loaning money!!

2016-06-27: No money, no response for tickets!!!
UPDATE 3:
2016-06-28: 17 working days since they've told me I'll have my money back in 4-7 working days - no money, no response for tickets!!!
