A lot of unwarranted negative comments
I have ordered 4 phones from Valuebasket and would recommend this company to anyone. Every single order that I made - except the last order (ordered about 2 months ago) - was delivered on time and there was a steady stream of communication from Valuebasket to my email address as to the status of my order.
One area of improvement would be for Valuebasket to choose decent, up to standard, courier services. The last order that I made was delivered by Chronopost who were extremely poor when it came to providing tracking information.
There's a lot of negative comments regarding this company and IMO i would put the majority of it down to the poor couriers.
However, when it comes to VALUE FOR MONEY and CHOICE, you simply cannot fault this company. They just need to procure good quality couriers.
No shipment, no refund and no access to the website
I ordered a mobile phone at Valuebasket.com since 2016/06/20. Since 6 weeks they didn't delivery the mobile phone. Since several email exchanges with no delivery date, I decided to cancel my order. The worst thing is, we have no longer access to the website to process the cancellation. Here the only message:
Hello from Valuebasket - unfortunately at the present time we are not accepting orders.
So, I think i will contact the police for fraud to get my money back.
Very poor with lots of delays
I ordered a new Samsung Galaxy S7 back in the 21st May 2016. Was stated that they were in stock on the website but after a couple of weeks order status was changed to delayed.
After several emails and phone calls chasing delivery date and what the delay actually was I finally canceled the order and requested credit on the 8th July which is around 8 weeks and I am still awaiting refund 12 days later even though it was stated to be 4-7 working days.
Avoid at all costs as they are happy to take your money but refuse to give back in reasonable time.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
I waiting more than 1 month for my order because:

After I cancel my order:
Promise: "7 days for the funds to be seen in your account."

So this company have a excuse generator and keep our money long as they can.

Value Basket (worst company ever)
I ordered my phone before checking reviews of Value Basket, which won't ever happen again!! After waiting a couple of weeks and had no delivery date given I started to get worried so decided to contact them. When I contacted them an American woman answered who I could understand then all of a sudden the line went quiet and I was talking to someone with really poor English, from what I understood what there was a delay and they had no date or any kind of idea when I would get my phone, not even a current model.
I sent emails to them and initially got responses but no reason as to why there was a delay, so I of course asked for a refund at this point, they tried to fob me off with some memory stick, which I told them no I wanted my refund. They agreed to my refund but I am still waiting three weeks later. My last email to them:
Heard nothing from you and not had my money refunded, you have given no reason whatsoever why you have still not refunded my money. It's looking like all the terrible reviews are proving right, you have till the 1st of August to refund my money before I take up legal proceedings!!
UPDATE!
Web Site is now down, looks they have finally done a runner with everyone's money!!

Still waiting for my refund....
I had a problem with an order for which they took the money from my account. I brought this issue up with Value Baskets customer services and they acknowledged that there was an error and that they owed me a refund of approx £196.99. I was first told it would take a maximum of 12 days for the refund to show in my account but here we are almost a month later and still no sign of any refund. I have repeatedly contacted their customer services department to find out what's happening and the keep saying the same thing that my order has been prioritised and someone will email me as soon as it has been processed. Well have now waited almost 3 times what they told me would be the maximum waiting time for a refund and still no sign of any refund or any proper help from their customer services. All I ever seem to get is this cut and paste response which I am now sure they send to all their customers in my position without actually doing absolutely nothing about it. I hope they read this and sort this refund out soon before I have to start to look into further steps of legal action against them as they have left me £200 out of pocket with nothing to show for it. So my experience so far has been nothing short of miserable. There is certainly no value to be had here with this company that is obviously nothing short of a complete basket case.
Atrocious
Never, ever buy from this company. I bought a faulty notebook computer and have had months and months of obstructive customer service as they tried to wiggle out of repairing or replacing it. When finally they agreed to its return for repair, it was said to have "arrived irreparably damaged"...

Can't deliver the goods or refund!
I ordered a DJI phantom 4 on 23 June with their site saying 5 in stock. After a week I e-mailed them and received the reply that it would be shipped by 14 July at the latest. This didn't happen.
I phoned them and asked to cancel as they couldn't fufil the order as promised, and I was asked tos end them an e-mail confirming cancellation, which I did on 14July2016. They acknowledged it and said a refund would take 4-7 days.
I e-mailed them and a further reply stated they were restructuring and a refund would be issued as soon as possible.
On 23July2016, I contacted my bank to resolve this refund for me. It appears the banks are well aware of this company.
My STRONGEST advice is to stay well away and buy from with a reputable company. If you want stress then ignore my advice!
Value Basket took my money straight away and when I ask for a refund I am being fobbed off.
My bank is now disputing the payment and sorting out a refund.

Ordered a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on 23/6/16 for a reasonable price having checked the website for stock and delivery times which stated 2 to 5 working days for shipping. This company sends its products from Hong Kong but when the website states 2-5 working days, this is COMPLETELY FALSE ! They lure you into a promise of quick delivery times but then FAIL to deliver ! Even when you contact them over the phone, they promise you the delivery will be next week. When you ring the following week, they say they have a problem with their logistical department so it will be next week. The following week arrives and still no delivery. FOUR weeks later and still no delivery on the promised 2/5 working days delivery time. I have lost money on ordering a Sim Card for this phone plus accessories I've already bought but still no delivery! They will not allow you to speak to a manager- you can only email their customers services or ring their call centre based in Hong Kong via a London telephone number.
Apparently, the way this company works is that they BULK order up to 1000 units of any given item, hence they get it a discounted price BUT until they get 1000 orders of an item, they CAN NOT ship out your order until that amount is reached. So, if you are the 10th person to order an item, you will have to wait until another 990 people have placed an order. This could therefore take FOREVER!!!! Do not trust or buy from this company and they are extremely unscrupulous. They will still promise 2 to 5 days when you phone them but I guarantee they will NOT deliver.
I have cancelled my order and hope to get a refund, if not, I will leave it to my credit card company to chase up my refunds. If want HASSLE, STRESS, FRUSTATION and NO DELIVERY, this is the company for you. If not, trust me, go shop elsewhere. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!
UPDATE: 27/7/16 THE COMPANY IS NO LONGER TAKING ORDERS!!! WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU ,,, MAKES THE PREVIOUS GOOD REVIEW BY JAMES A COMPLETE NON SENSE !!

Appalling company
Ordered a phone 15th June. Money taken from our a/c 16th June. We thought delivery would be soon. Chased four times by phone. Realised it was not going to be delivered 12th July. Asked for refund. Told it would be back in our a/c within 7 days. Now chasing for a refund as we bought the phone elsewhere. Many many excuses. This is extremely poor customer service. Do not use.

ABSOLUTE THIEVES
As you can see from EVERYONE's reviews, valuebasket will take your order, take your money & NEVER deliver your goods. They do not care about fulfilling your order. They consistently use the excuse of an order backlog, but I placed an order on 30th May! How long does it take to clear a backlog??!!!
I now want to get a refund, but I am extremely sceptical as I know this will most likely take just as long to be refunded. I am going to take this to my credit card company in order to get my money back and to the police so hopefully no one else gets ripped off.
I'm amazed they are still responding to messages on here, for what point? We all know (sadly too late) that they are just scam artists...

tentata truffa online
Riassumo brevemente di seguito la mia pessima esperienza, purtroppo non ancora terminata, a seguito di un acquisto sul sito "value basket".
Il 10/04/2016 ho effettuato l'ordine con addebito immediato sulla mia carta di credito, l'acquisto riguardava una fotocamera Nikon con 2 obiettivi per un importo di Euro 1'212.
Ho effettuato l'acquisto incautamente senza consultare i molti commenti negativi presenti da tempo sul web, anche perché supportato da un acquisto precedente di un anno, il cui esito pur non veloce era stato positivo.
A mio giudizio, il vero tentativo di truffa è rappresentato dai loro prezzi eccessivamente convenienti rispetto a tutti gli altri venditori online e pubblicizzati con una pressione asfissiante su tutto il web.
Mi riprometto personalmente ed invito i molti acquirenti coinvolti come me da questa organizzazione poco seria, a far presente questo aspetto agli organi di controllo della concorrenza e del mercato.
Comunque il mio ordine è stato accettato e pagato il giorno 19 aprile, dichiarato dal venditore come disponibile e quindi consegnabile entro massimo una quindicina di giorni.
Subito dopo l'ordine ho fatto presente la mia urgenza di ricevere gli articoli acquistati e la loro risposta ha confermato la disponibilità immediata degli articoli ed il sicuro rispetto dei termini previsti per la spedizione.
Passati 15 giorni è iniziato il calvario di mie mail di sollecito con risposte da parte del venditore sempre pronte ma inutili. Leggendo i commenti degli altri acquirenti riscontro esattamente le medesime frasi di circostanza da cui è difficile capire se siano generate in automatico o se siano effettivamente inviate da un fantomatico centro di assistenza clienti.
Ho tollerato queste ridicole risposte fino al 1 giugno, oltre 40 giorni dopo l’avvenuto pagamento, ed a quel punto ho chiesto la cancellazione del mio ordine ed il rimborso dell'importo pagato.
La loro risposta è stata pronta ed efficiente, comunicandomi che con loro dispiacere provvedevano alla cancellazione dell'ordine e si impegnavano celermente al rimborso del mio pagamento entro massimo 15 giorni.
Qui è iniziato il secondo calvario con diverse mie richieste di sollecito e loro pronte risposte di circostanza, pur garantendo sempre il rimborso.
Ad oggi dopo 48 gg dalla loro conferma di avvenuta cancellazione dell'ordine (ovvio non considero i giorni lavorativi, ma poco cambia nella sostanza), non ho ancora ricevuto alcun rimborso ma solo diversi messaggi di scuse.
Alla luce di questa mia negativa esperienza, invito tutti coloro che potrebbero essere attratti dai prezzi molto vantaggiosi pubblicizzati dal sito "value basket", a pensarci molto bene prima di incorrere in un possibilissimo tentativo di truffa.

Do not USE!!!!
Do NOT use this company, you will end up spending lots of time and money fighting them in court for refunds of faulty goods. I bought headphones which soon began to not play music. I went to an electronics expert who confirmed they had been tampered with. I spent months emailing with no replies, I rang and the idiots even said "your order will arrive soon." They did not even inspect my item. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY, no matter how good a deal it seems - similar reviews suggested products are refurbished to a poor quality and the customer service is disgusting. Save your time and money and pay more for a product which will last! Oh and no surprise that they are not registered with any trading standards company.

No refunding from Basket Value
I ordered a camera on basketvalue web site on May 31, 2016, for 571,90 euros.
Since the delivery time was too long, I decided to cancel the order.
On June 17, 2016, I received confirmation from basketvalue that my order has been cancelled. Basketvalue made it very clear that I would be refunded in « 2 to 5 days ».
Today, Monday, July 18, 2016, it has been a month you confirmed me the cancellation of the order. But I have not yet be refunded...
Do not use Value Basekt Mobile phone not delivered after 6 weeks
I placed my order on 7th of June, I had to cancel my order yesterday on the 18th of July. They still could not provide a commitment deliver my phone in any sort of time frame. Initially after a week or so I was told there was a delay in processing my order due to logistic issues. On the17th of June after I again queried the status of my order I received this update.
"I know you want your order now, better yet, yesterday (I would want the same thing) and what I can offer you today is clarity on the situation. Your order for 22670-AA-BK - Samsung Galaxy S7 G930F LTE 32GB Octa-core SIM Free / Unlocked (Black) will be dispatched from our warehouse latest on June 27, 2016. Thanks again for your patience, and I hope that this update was helpful and you’ll have your order soon."
On the 1st of July after pressing them for a commitment to give me an update as to when my phone would be delivered. I got this update.
"Under the present conditions, our logistics team is working to clear out the large volume of outstanding orders with priority. After discussions with them, I am very confident we will be able to fulfill your order within the next 2 weeks.Should you agree on this extended dispatch time, we will be happy to compensate you with a 2% discount on the current order, which will be credited towards you upon dispatch."
But another 2 weeks went by and still no delivery. I am not sure if this website is a sham, or what they are doing. I went to cancel my order on the 17th of July, for them to tell me then could deliver with in 2 to 3 days, when I took them up on this offer, they then retracted and said they still could not commit, I have now cancelled my order and am waiting for my refund which I am told will be 7 days.
DO NOT USE VALUEBASKET. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ORDER

Money taken - no phone received
It has been 18 working days (almost a month) since I placed my (confirmed) order of an Xperia Z3 compact D5803 (Black) on this website. The phone has not been shipped. I received a few generic emails in response to my complaints with no real information on the shipment time-frames, only promises and I am quite sure lies. The availability (5 in stock) of the phone on the website has not changed since before I ordered it - why didn't it go down by one? Is it because they were never going to send it (or didn't have it in the first place) and just wanted to lure money out? Upon reading countless bad reviews, the idea that they provide good service to a few customers every now and then to keep some good reviews and scam the rest of the buyers, seems more and more plausible.
My advice - do not risk it hoping that you'll be the lucky one! I surely did.
