Now on my 2nd Vado shower and it's failed again. Don't have the strength to pay the call out charge and reckon I'll just find a plumber and replace it. Worst shower product I have ever known.
I'd advise stay away and the shop said they where so reliable. NOT...

Vado Identity horrendous experience 😕 I have had 5 replacement units as they have broken over and over. As you are really stuck with the product due to the way it is plumbed in they have you by the short and curlies!!!! They offered no contribution to having the replacement refitted. I am now at the point that as I bought my first one in 2012 they are refusing to support, telling me I have to pay £530 ish plus VAT. Well the one I am replacing is no where near the warranty time and the person who wrote the amazing email said I have to "cheque" the pipes as it is probably them being blocked causing the problem. I would have expected after the horrendous experience I have had, changing multiple units, they would have at least offered me a reduction. SO SO disappointed and wish I had NEVER had them installed. I have 3 so will be talking nearly £2000 if they all go 😡

Absolutely the worst showers and customer service I have ever experienced. Shower comes on in the middle of the night multiple times (8), heat at 99 degrees! We are on our 7th replacement as Vado suggested it was a faulty item and then changed to issues with our boiler ( which is brand new) water pressure etc. 18 months of endless problems. Avoid at all costs.

I have had a Vado sensori now for 1.5 years and am about to receive my 3rd processor, the previous 2 have both failed and leaked from the actuator inside the valve. I have no faith in the 3rd one and when that fails I will be expecting Vado to pay to have my bathroom wall retiled when I change to another brand. I would not recommend this valve to anyone as it seems Vado have no idea why this keeps happening and are doing nothing to fix the problem.
I will say that they are quick to send a replacement, however, I would rather the problem be resolved than send another valve that will fail again with no explanation.

This product is novel and attractive, and worked well until a guest directed the hand shower at the controller, at which point the unit locked up and could only be reset by turning off the power (not easy and probably risky when you are dripping wet).
The issue was known to Vado, who in fairness, promptly despatched a new controller with a software modification.
The modification has the option to work around the problem by delaying or inhibiting the response of the touch screen.
The problem then is that a normal quick touch or indeed a prolonged touch doesn’t work. The user has to press the screen for a time between about half and one second! This is not easy and often results in an unreliable outcome.
With the benefit of hindsight, I would not have bought the product, but it is now part of the fabric of the bathroom, so I am stuck with it. A lesson learned - do my research!

I had an issue with a Vado Notion in wall bath tap. I am in a Berkeley build of 10 years. I checked the paperwork and gave Vado a call. Both Mike and Matt were extremely helpful in shipping out a replacement product in time for my plumber to fit. Outstanding customer service rarely seen these days. Thank you.

I have had a number of Vado products installed over 7 years ago. Unfortunately, I have had a couple of tap failures. The service provided by the after sales team at Vado was second to none. Highly recommended!

I'll give them 5 star, best customer support I have come across in recent times, replaced a 5yr old electric shower CPU for no costs and when I was struggling to find a part p qualified plumber they even arranged for one for zero cost.

We bought our new house 4 years ago. It came fitted with Vado taps throughout. The tap in the main bathroom started to shed its chrome finish. When I contacted Vado they supplied a replacement tap free of charge. Thanks guys.

I recently purchased 2 Vado showers, 2 taps and a bath waste/filler for my ensuite and bathroom. I had to contact their Customer Services with a question/advice. My call was answered quickly even in covid times and the staff were in a word great. Very courteous, very professional and very helpful. And now everything looks great and works well. Thanks you Vado.

Hi have bought a lot of Vado products when we refurblished our house 3 years ago and one of the taps started to develop a failure of the Chrome. This continued to get worse which I was dissapointed with considering the price we paid.
I contacted Vado and they sent out a replacement staright away which was excellent service.
My issue is that this should not happen in the first place. Having said that all the shower heads and other Chrome fittings have been fine. So maybe a faulty product?

Do not buy these showers, they are pure rubbish. Look the part but that's it. Every customer we have installed one for regrets purchase and changes to Mira. You've been warned!!!

RUBBISH quality product & RUBBISH after sales service!! I was forced to pay £73.14 for a new type of valve to replace the existing unreliability valve they have stopped making 'because it was so poorly made.' Then discovered because of the faulty valve that the safety 'anti-Scalding button' was also dangerously faulty and they now want another £81.00 for just a new Knob??? This should have been covered by the Vado 12 year guarantee, but guess what? they don't now have records of my guarantee?? BE AWARE!!
I will never purchase or recommend 'VADO' products ever again to anyone.

Had a slight problem with my 2016 fitted tap but lost my original registered g'tee paperwork. Vado service dept came up trumps and quickly sorted this out and solved the tap problem. One very satisfied customer.

Vado digital shower unreliable. To switch on sometimes 3 clicks sometimes three has a mind of its own.Water temperature varies, does not start on last temperature setting as stated,then goes off when under shower for no reason. Not impressed.
Vado engineer changed electric box in cupboard,but still not working properly. Would love it to be removed bu would mean all new retailing, and en suite just installed,fed up of it all . Do not purchase this
Vado product as very unpredictable, waste of money.

Unfortunately we had a few issues with my parents shower set and the shop we bought it from weren't very helpful in sorting it out. I rang the after care service as I had enough and spoke to Steve and he was amazing. He was so reassuring and understood the situation we were in, taking into consideration that we are in a pandemic so things were beyond my control. He went out of his way and very quickly found a solution to help my elderly parents. Very swift and efficient.

Customer service is great but products not so great.
We are currently on our 4th control panel and 1 processor change. For the Smarttouch. Our bathroom was completed in February 2020 and it has been hell with this shower. Customer service has been good until you have to send photos and videos. I’m about to log another call for our 5th Engineer callout (one of the calls was for a tap) 😡😡😡😳😳😳😢😢😢😢 you would think spending money would give you a brilliant product and peace of mind.
If we have to replace this system we will have to payout money to have this installed and will have to retile and the bathroom has just been completed 😢😢😢😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Problems
1 Sensitivity on the panel would not work, so had to press a number of times for the unit to respond with regards to the On/off
2 showers cuts out and will not turn back on and a padlock would appear. The padlock is not meant to come on unless you press the buttons for cleaning function to lock the unit.
3 The temperature will have a mind of its own and start to drop and your unable to move it back up. It goes down to a snowflake and then your unable to turn it off and we have to use the remote
