Nice bike, but very heavy. Hard to pedal in PAS mode unless in the highest level of assist. Rates 4 stars for the quality bafang rear hub and panasonic cells used in the 48 volt battery. It doesn't have UL certification probably due to the cost and process of getting certified. The throttle is cheap and can use an upgrade. Mechanical brakes work maybe hydraulic brake hoses are hard to fold but would of been nice especially when cruising downhill. Plenty of power to climb hills but need to set the max speed low to avoid excess battery sag and drain. Could use a swept back handlebar and suspension seat post as well as fenders and rack. Plenty of similar folding e-bikes under 900 dollars. If you can get this one for that price consider the value of a good hub motor and battery, The bike will do over 30 mph unlocked. managing the max speed is easy through the display to keep it legal and safely ride-able. I like that the battery isn't integrated into the folding section like many folding e-bikes. Just seems like less damage to the connector. I would recommend it if your looking for a throttle dependent bike and don't mind adding upgrades and accessories. And not expecting to lug it around in a truck or car for regular rides.
