I have nothing to compare the Pedego Latch to as this is my first e-bike, however, I really like this bike! I use the bike only in peddle assist modes, so with a full battery charge it allows me to see many miles of bike trails, national parks, and other designated bike paths. It seems to sip on the battery in peddle assist mode. I still haven't folded it, yet, but the bike is really well made so I don't foresee any issues.
