UptimeRobot is a free uptime monitoring service with native iOS and Android apps that keeps an eye on your websites, APIs, servers, and critical services 24/7 (https://uptimerobot.com). The Free Plan includes up to 50 monitors with 5-minute checks and a hosted status page so you can showcase your uptime to customers. Monitor much more than simple pings: track websites and HTTP(S) endpoints, keyword/content changes, ping and port availability, DNS records, SSL certificate expiry, domain expiration, cron jobs/heartbeats, and response times, with checks running from multiple locations around the world. Get notified the moment something goes wrong via email, mobile app push, SMS, or voice call. UptimeRobot also integrates with 20+ third-party tools, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Telegram, Discord, Mattermost, Zapier, PagerDuty, Splunk On-Call, webhooks, Pushover, Pushbullet, and more, so your whole team can see incidents where they already work. SMS/voice credits are included in paid plans and can be topped up on any plan as needed. Paid Solo, Team, and Enterprise plans unlock more monitors, 60-second or even 30-second checks, additional status pages, more notification and login seats, and advanced monitoring features such as SSL and domain expiry alerts, heartbeat monitoring for cron jobs, DNS monitoring, slow-response (response time) alerts, custom HTTP requests, and flexible maintenance windows. Status pages can be fully customized with your branding, own domain, privacy options, multi-language support (11+ languages), analytics, and incident announcements that customers can subscribe to via email. For automation and more complex setups, UptimeRobot offers a modern REST API (v3) that lets you manage monitors, integrations, and maintenance windows programmatically. Teams can collaborate with sub-users, admin and notify-only roles, monitor grouping, and advanced notification rules so alerts go to the right people at the right time. Stay on top of issues with UptimeRobot’s knowledge base, hosted status page, post-incident emails for major events, and an active Discord community where users, support, and developers discuss incidents, new features, and roadmap ideas in real time.

On holiday - UptimeRobot is giving me comfort.

I am away on holiday and have UptimeRobot monitoring my broadband - to make sure it isn't down. It is working well, alerting me when the router is down and then again when back up again. It is giving me a lot of comfort that the things in my house are working as intended.

Simple, Reliable Uptime Monitoring That Just Works for This Non-Profit!

We are a nonprofi organization with multiple locations, and UptimeRobot has proven to be a reliable and effective monitoring solution for our needs. It provides the same core functionality as a previous monitoring service, but with a noticeably easier and more intuitive interface that reduced setup and ongoing management time.

Overall, UptimeRobot has been a solid, no-nonsense service that does exactly what we need it to do. It’s super easy to use, reliable, and well-suited for organizations managing multiple sites. We would definitely recommend it.

Simple to use, yet powerful

Setting up websites to monitor is very straightforward. The interface is clean and easy to use. I have used it to monitor when websites go down and I can use the mobile app to get alerts in real-time. This is very valuable. It also keeps a history of the status which is nice.

A reliable tool with exceptional support for NGOs

UptimeRobot has proven to be a very useful and easy-to-use tool for monitoring the status of our pages and services. It works reliably and gives us peace of mind knowing we’ll receive immediate alerts if something goes wrong.

What I especially want to highlight is the way they treat nonprofit organizations: it has been excellent. You can tell they truly value and support our work, which makes a big difference. That personalized attention and the support they provide make the experience even more positive.

UptimeRobot is great so I know what is…

UptimeRobot is great so I know what is down and when. Have used the UptimeRobot reports to send to vendors for trouble shooting issues. The status webpage is awesome so other can see that we are in a problem state and let me work on it instead of calling and interrupting the fix process.
