All organised quickly. I selected my scan online and had my referral call within a few hours. Then I had my appointment scheduled a short while after that. All went smoothly on the day of my scan and the radiologist report came through the next day.

Professional and polite results received very quickly

My husband booked the scan, chose the date and time around his work commitments ..for yesterday. .paid for it.
Someone called him and assessed if it was appropriate and was referred to have it at Woodthorpe.
Then nothing...and still waiting...so they advertise ...Book online in minutes, speak to a clinician in hours, and get your results in days.... but this is not correct.
They have our money and we are left waiting for a date and time from Woodthorpe.
So false advertising
Very dissatisfied
Will go with VISTA Health next time

Simple processs and very well organised

Booking process was ok but a bit slow to get the appointment but, more importantly, I am still waiting for my results 11 working days later so a full 15 days later - normally I would get results for a CT angiogram within a couple of days. This is not good enough when I have paid over £1,400 for a private scan. The actual scan itself was very smooth, quick and efficient at the Huddersfield private hospital. Will go direct to them next time and will never use scan.comUK again as this is an extremely poor experience.

I had a good experience with great staff. The only thing that would have made it 5 stars is if the report I got back included the consultants treatment recommendations, so I didn’t have to try & remember everything from the phone call.

Excellent communication throughout

My experience with scan.com has been great overall. The booking process was easy, and the customer service team was easy to reach and helpful. The initial consultation was brief, but when I felt unsure whether I had chosen the correct scan, the clinician called me back and explained everything.

I am claustrophobic, and I was incredibly nervous about the scan, not only because of the problem I needed to investigate, but also because I wasn't sure I would be able to cope with staying in the scanner. I tried practising staying in a tiny space at home for 10–15 minutes at a time, and it definitely helped, but I was still quite terrified when I was about to go into the scanner.

I am so very grateful to the nurse at Modality Sleaford, who treated me with a great deal of empathy and understanding. If it hadn't been for her, I honestly don't know whether I would have been able to cope. I'm sorry I was too consumed with anxiety to remember her name, but the scan took place on the afternoon of 8th October.

The results arrived very quickly, on the next working day, and thankfully no significant issues were identified. I would happily recommend scan.com to anyone who is worried about symptoms and wants answers quickly.

Was very straightforward to book self referral scan on the website. Clinician called back within 24 hours to check all details and scan was then booked and confirmed. Staff at the scanning centre explained everything fully.

Used a number of times to book at various clinics for different scans - scans that my GP would never have entertained on the NHS.
Never had an issue. Booking is a straight forward process. Staff have always been helpful and pleasant. Plus the scans have helped to ease my mind on a number of medical issues.

The scan team gave me a list of places i could choose from, I paid around 420GBP and chose, they then contacted me and said they had no availability at that location and asked that I choose another location, which i did and sent them the details of the new location. The new location was cheaper, so I required a partial refund. since then they have just sent back automated responses and now sent me a 'review us' email. No reponse...no refund...no booking.

Further to their reply below, I am writing this review on regards to my partner, I have been helping him with his medical documents and I have been speaking to you through his email. I called today, someone answered, was told someone would call me back, no-one did. You havent responded to any of the emails I have sent you. This has been ongoing for 20 days...and all we get are generic responses. Similar to the one you just wrote. Refund or booking please??

The procedure, expectations and precautions were well explained. I could ask questions if there something I didn’t understand.

doctor was very understanding and helpful. the scan went well but in between not so good need a person for each account holder to contact very confusing dealing with two seperate places.

Location. Very friendly staff. The staff made the experience effortless and no bother at all. Courteous staff who watched every step I made going up and down the stairs. One staff member came out to our car to ask necessary questions. There was no rush to get on or off the bed.
Mark the person who first contacted me and gave me my results was so reassuring, friendly, and so much time for me.
Whenever I emailed, all replies were quick and so helpful. Hopefully I will never need Scan.com again but if I did, then I would. I will certainly recommend this service.
