We have purchased Sauna and paid full price, and now phone lines not picked up and emails bouncing back. Requested refund in June. No money & no Sauna. Company will be possibly folded. The products are still available online to purchase

Anyone caught in the same situation (we already been contacted by several people)- consider the below:

For the director to be held personally accountable, the matter needs to be reported to Companies House for suspected misconduct. This will trigger an investigation, and if it is found that he continued to trade while knowing (or should have known) that the company could not avoid insolvency — or used the company’s dissolution as an exit strategy — he can be held personally liable. We already did that. The more applications they will receive - the more attention there will be

Ordered a sauna in October 2024. Paid £100 deposit. The order wait time was 4 months. Almost 11 months later and we still have no sauna!!

Brian was initially very polite and helpful. However, as months rolled by we found it harder to get in touch. First they “had technical difficulties” with their phone lines so only correspondence was via email. I sent an email yesterday asking for an update but received no reply. I have tried to phone them today but they supposedly still have technical difficulties, months and months later. I Dropped another email to the fantastic Brian at UK Saunas but it’s bounced straight back!

Get the feeling we have been conned out of money and very much doubt this Sauna will ever arrive!

I’ve had to inform the Ombudsman and my credit card company who had r refunded the deposit.

Avoid at all costs….. bunch of scammers who appear to have gone bust so keep hold of your hard earned money!!

Like many others (it seems), we ordered a sauna many months ago and was initially told delivery would be mid-August. August came and we were told mid-Sept. Now my emails are bouncing back undelivered, contact page on website is disabled and phone line having 'technical difficulties'. I note from other reviews that lots of customers are having the same experience as me. I seem to be one of the lucky ones though as I wasn't ask to pay for order, which I must admit, I found strange at the time. Did they already know they were going to be unable to fulfil it?

Been waiting 9 months, nothing… not answering calls, think they have closed down. I’m going to contact the ombudsman to find out.

Ordered my sauna on 6 January 2025, paid in full. It is 27 October 2025, it has been nearly 11 months and no sign of my refund.

***UPDATE: I raised a payment dispute with my bank and have now been refunded via this route - but not a word from UK Saunas. They are spending time taking down their website, disabling emails and shutting off the phone line rather than updating customers on refunds.***

Zero communication from the company without me chasing an update, and after the shipment finally arrived in the UK, apparently it did not contain my sauna. I was lost for words. I canceled my order in writing a week ago and so far I have I not received a refund. UK saunas are not replying any of my emails or answering their phone for an entire week and I have spent hours and hours on the line. If they do not refund me in the next 7 days, they will be in breach of consumer law, and I will have to go to the Financial Ombudsman to report this.

It is a shame to leave this review. Better communication about their supplier problems would have resulted in a much more transparent customer experience, but unfortunately they missed every opportunity to uphold their reputation.

Company has been going for several years thus trustworthy but contacting them and communication has been awful not received emails regarding items arriving late ! 5 months late !!!! Phone lines have been down as well thought it was a fake company. Item has since arrived no issues with the product thus far

We bought a home where a lovely UK sauna was installed, but we were unable to get it going. We called UK Saunas who were able to identify the problem over the phone. We needed to replace the control panel. Unfortunately the 5 year warrantee had recently expired. Not an issue for Brian and his team who sent us a new control panel without charge and explained how to fit it. Problem solved at no cost to us. Many thanks to this very kind, competent and helpful company.

I ordered snd paid for a sauna 4 weeks ago ( July 2025) and was told it would be delivered in 3 weeks. I’ve received no confirmation of payment, no response to emails and now they are not answering the phones. Something is really amiss here. I may have lost my money as I can’t get through to anyone

Is it even a real UK based business???
I rang, the voice mail said they were experiencing technical issues. I was in the area so I thought I'd visit. The address location on Google maps I believe is intentionally inaccurate and the nearby industrial estate "former Pennine stone" building (the address from their website) has no sign of a sauna company, everything closed. Very suspicious, lost all confidence that this is a genuine business

We bought the sauna 3 years ago. All great. We had to have a heater exchanged after a year- that worked fine. Now, over 2 months away the heater broke down/ the company first sent us various bits to repair, which took time and effort, but no results. They asked for the heater to be shipped back to them, to be repaired or exchanged. We did. And then the delays started. First they claimed they haven’t received it , then, after several emails that it is done and being posted. That was 3 weeks ago- and. Since then no answer to emails, their phone comes with a recorded message of having technical difficulties- and obviously , we haven’t received the heater. The warranty is 5 years- though what good is it if you cannot get any reply/ action? For me sauna is a necessity for dealing with chronic pain and usually I am in it every day- so the last 2 months have been not only stressful but also painful. We are now considering taking legal steps.

Avoid UK Saunas! From day one the service has been extremely poor. Communication is practically non existent unless you chase them! And they don’t bother to update you either. The product itself is well below standard, with numerous cracks in the timber door, constant leaks (even after thorough sealing), and now permanent staining inside the sauna.

I purchased my 3 man outdoors infrared sauna last year and I’m still going back and forth trying to get faults fixed. They’ve arranged visits to replace parts and then simply not turned up twice without even the courtesy of a phone call. No follow up, nothing.

Despite the name “UK Saunas,” the sauna isn’t even built in the UK; it’s manufactured abroad and shipped over. Mine was six months late with zero communication during that time.

All in all, this has been a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience. Despite Brian’s assurances that everything would be resolved, nothing has been properly dealt with. Poor service, poor product, poor company.

Invoice advised 2-3 day courier delivery
Email arrived 2/8 asking for my rating!
Review reminder arrived 9/8
I wrote advising still not received 10 & 11/8 no response.
13/8 Still no delivery so I wrote advising that now suited and so item no longer required, please provove full refund.
No communication still!
Miraculously, flurry of email delivery activity started on 15/8.
Delivery received 19/8.
Now have excess items.
Communication non-existent seemingly reflecting customer service.
Not even an apology.......

Ordered Sauna Rocks over two weeks ago. Advised that they were dispatched over a week ago. 8 days later, no rocks and no response to emails.

Telephone lines “down” due to technical issues.

Awful service.

If I could do less than one star I would. They have taken money and now no contact and no product.

Website only contact method is a telephone no (contact us page does not load), called 3 times but kept on getting the storeman. An email address was given for "Bria" but emails not answered.
So much for shopping uk.

Ordered a sauna November of last year (2024) now almost August 2025

Was supposed to be delivered in February - I phoned to confirm installation and it had been cancelled.

Was then told May, then told July - Now I have had multiple emails ignored, not getting a response and have zero update on what's happening.

We also contracted and specifically got ground work done to lay the foundation for the sauna

Fed up waiting, so I am hoping this review can move things along.

I ordered a sauna in February 2025 and was told to expect it at the end of June. It's now July and Brian has stopped replying to emails and does not answer the phone. Shocking after making someone wait all this time. Simply say you can get it so we can source from another supplier. Order 1000011850

Have had my sauna for 9 years now. Used almost every day. Had a technical problem last year and rang Brian who was extremely helpful and patient with me. Have called him since with what I thought was a technical problem but we worked out it was human error (mine) and sauna up and running again. Great saunas, great aftercare, great price.

Ordered a sauna in January and still waiting.. Was told a 3 months lead time - it's been 6. No communication, when I call I'm told to call back because he doesn't have paperwork, when I email, I'm told to call back Monday. The service has been terrible so far. No updates. Just spoke to the warehouse guy who told me that a shipment arrived and they weren't what was ordered. I asked if there was someone above Brian and was told he's the boss! Do I cancel the order and start again?!

Needed some part numbers and was emailed the relevant information straightaway. First class service. Thank you
