- saw this ad on TikTok, and I signed up on a whim to check if there was anything left in my CTF (not the best idea I know) I then remembered I received my full trust fund in 2022.
- I was spammed with calls and emails
- Weeks later received an invoice of £420 saying they have ‘found my trust fund.
- I emailed them back saying I have already accessed it and that no service was provided therefore I don’t need to pay for any service. I also had to explain to their own company that I thought your policy runs on a ‘no win, no fee’ policy.
- After I had to show them proof that I have already accessed my ctf, they then proceeded to try charge me for a £25 admin fee? I was so confused as I was known for it to be a no win no fee policy.
- But I knew something wasn’t right, so I checked the terms and conditions they sent me and there was no mention of an admin fee charge. I went on the website and it turns out they changed their terms and conditions, saying that a £25 admin fee will be charged if ctf is already found.
- SO they tried to charge me to terms I didn’t even agree too, they even said as terms I agreed to, I will need to pay this charge!
- If I didn’t check my terms and conditions I really would have to pay.
- Be cautious, you can get this through the hmrc for free, this company shouldn’t even be. It’s a scam

Really helpful on the call and really fast and quick process

The lady magen was incredibly nice and very patient about the downs and struggles I had, she was very willing to answer any questions I had and over all was a great experience

Megan was very easy to talk to and very friendly I have autism and I didn’t tell the company however she explained everything in a slow and professional manner and spoke slowly so I could understand the information and was a pleasure to talk to.

All I can say is misleading and scam, you shouldn’t have to pay to get your child trust fund and them asking for more money if you don’t pay is vile honestly. I didn’t end up going through with it I ignored them because I ended up finding it myself on one family, so they continued to search without me asking them to continue so that was there own choice. They failed to highlight that the free route via HMRC exists. many eligible customers are young and inexperienced, ASA found Turner Lewis may have taken advantage of their lack of knowledge. Several reviews claim people signed up without fully understanding the cost and later received unexpected invoices or felt pressured. If you’ve been asked to pay a fee when you’ve already claimed the fund, this is a red flag. The fact the ASA found their adverts misleading suggests there is risk of misunderstanding: consumers may believe the service is free or low-risk when there is a substantial fee if you proceed.
