Initial phone call supported by us sending photos of our vehicle enabled the order of a custom built truck canopy . Delivery time as explained . Booked in as soon the cover was in the uk . Staff confirmed the booking the day before . Greeted by front of house , process explained, welcomed to wait , with our dog , in a comfortable airy showroom . Informed of progress throughout the day .Excellent end product .Thank you team Truckman

Absolutely fantastic ! People expect good and fast service these days, but Truckman go above and beyond every time. It feels like the entire company wants to be there and know the products out of passion rather than just because they are paid to. Really fast and the quality of the products are incredible

You can judge the integrity of a company by its by its pride in its product. Sometimes things break . I was blown away by the speed and kind reaction to a problem with a hardtop door. Nothing was too much problem. Thank you for sorting it Bob

The handle on my Grand Hard Top got damaged, I needed to get things sorted ASAP. The sales rep Chris, spoke to my local garage and guided them how to get it sorted straight away. He was on the phone, also sent instructions by email and got things sorted in record time. Much appreciated!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Truckman.co.uk, and I’m happy to report that my overall experience was excellent from start to finish.

From the moment I visited their Showroom, I found the layout to be clear, user-friendly, and full of useful products. Their range of accessories for pickup trucks is impressive, with a wide selection of hardtops, bed liners, canopies, and other accessories suitable for both commercial and leisure use.

When I contacted their Retail Store Team Leader, Emily Robinson, with a few queries about product compatibility and delivery options, I received prompt, helpful, and knowledgeable responses. The staff were polite, professional, and seemed genuinely keen to ensure I chose the right product for my vehicle.

Once I placed my order, the communication remained strong. I received timely updates on the order status, dispatch, and delivery schedule.

What stood out most was the overall efficiency and customer-focused attitude at every stage of the process. It made what could have been a complicated purchase feel very straightforward and hassle-free.

In summary, Truckman.co.uk delivered on their promises with great service, quality products, and excellent communication. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others looking for reliable pickup truck accessories.

Purchased (upfront payment) and had fitted a luxury Grand hardtop canopy on a raptor, a few fitting dates were put back due to item not available. Short notice cancellations.
On the day of fitting, I drove 3 1/2 hours to Dudley, where it took over 5 hours to remove a roller cover and fit the canopy.
Not a massive issue that it took so long to fit, as it was fitted by professionals.
Got home and on closer inspection realised the canopy was not fitted square to the body (images showing each side was over 20mm difference).
The plastic trim on door sill was not replaced and left up where wiring had been added.
The vinyl interior of canopy had damage above the clamp which had a sticker placed over damaged area.

Comms with Truckman were not only slow, but disbelieving even with images. they wanted it back to rectify as per their policy. I was not travelling another 7 hour round trip for them to put another sticker over damage to vinyl (their suggestion) and for me to replace plastic trim (as it was an easy fix). I requested a mobile technician attend and rectify, or use my local Ford dealership. Not an option!

They offered £100 compensation for fuel and my time to return to Dudley, which was turned down only to be raised to £250 after being told to bring it back was their only way. I accepted this offer as I wanted to get it rectified somewhere other than the expected professional service of Truckman.

Really disappointed with the service. Love the canopy, just would not recommend the fitting service by their qualified technicians.

Ease of transaction. Helpful customer support quick resolution of issue.

I had a pretty positive view of Truckman having owned one of their hardtops on a Ford Ranger, felt positive about buying some side steps and a bed liner for a new Toyota Hilux double cab - side steps look great and were an easy fit, the bed liner has been a nightmare.

1) having ordered the version of the BedRug custom fit for the vehicle, rather dismayed to be sent the basic, ‘cut to fit’ product.

2) swap organised reasonably easily, yet the box that arrived had clearly been opened and resealed - the fittings were missing. Run out of time now so spent about £90 on Velcro (you need over 12m of the stuff) to get the bed liner installed in time for a hardtop fitting.

Clear blame on the warehouse for the first shipment.

The second shipment could be a courier theft but more likely another customer had missing fittings and a box was cannibalised to solve that customer’s issue - sticking the box back on the shelf to be picked again, immediately creating a second customer issue.

All basic operational issues. While these exist I’m afraid I cannot recommend TruckMan.

UPDATE - appreciate HardTops’ recognition of their failings and the gestures they have made to ‘make good’. Signs of a company that truly cares about customer satisfaction.

I had need to contact customer service to ask a couple of technical questions. Response was within 8hrs, which is really good for any customer service. Advice was detailed yet easy to understand and it worked, My problem was solved. Great team, great knowledge, great communication. Highly recommend them.

Another visit to Truckman and again the service was brilliant. We were greeted by a very bubbly young lady called Emily :). Emily is super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. She did what she had to do in order to keep the appointment on time, brilliant service. The waiting arear is really comfortable, tea & coffee available FOC and there is a butty van outside, Chris did a great job on the light fitting works a treat. would highly recommend this company.

We always struggle to access truckman parts through our supply chain! I found the online chat with Tim really easy and convenient! Within no time I had a quote on my desk and had paid it on the credit card!

Ordered a bed liner from truckman that took several weeks to arrive (no problem there as I was informed of this when I payed). when it arrived by courier the underside was badly scratched and gouged like it had been dragged Around a carpark due to it being sent with zero protection or packaging.
The supplied instructions were vague, incorrect and incomplete, so I rang first thing to clarify a couple of inconsistencies in the instructions before fitting as you only get one chance at sticking it down with the double sided tape. I was told someone from their technical team would call me back but after waiting 2.5 hours and no call I rang again and again was told someone would call me back, again no one did.

So after waiting a further 2hrs rang again and again and again only to be put through to an answering machine.
So as I was running out of time to fit it that day and did not have anywhere to store it I disregarded the instructions I felt were incorrect and went with my gut on the instructions that were missing and fitted it how I felt it should be fitted. And It did turn out really well in the end.

It’s now been a couple of weeks and no one ever did ring me back. I had planned to order a canopy from them later this year but have now decided to look into other options before I commit because a company can offer the best product, but it’s not worth a carrot if their customer service is nonexistent.
