Really poor service. Misleading info
I really feel this company should listen to what is being put on these reviews I have had the same issue as others. Ordered £100 worth of items last weds expecting delivery by the start of this week. I get an email on Tuesday to say an item that the website said was in stock wasn't actually in stock. My options were to wait till it was in stock which they didn't really know when it would be in stock or pay more to get what was in stock delivered? Poor communication and misleading information. Use goblin gaming!

Not worth using if you value your time and sanity
My first experience with TripleHelix was good. They had what I wanted in stock and sent it out within a reasonable time frame. Admittedly the best value delivery method offered is second class post that costs more than their competitors offer for Royal Mail 24.
That experience aside, every time since then I have attempted to place an order has been nothing but issues. Placed a large order (£150) and chose the fastest courier delivery option as I wanted it that week. A couple days later I receive the email telling me the order is being prepared, then later in the day I get an email to tell me at least one item of the order is not available to order. I email them to ask if they can send the rest and have that item sent later on, but it turns out the item was a discontinued item, and therefore really shouldn't have been on the site to order in the first place. I asked for a substitute of lesser value to replace the item and to have the difference given in a voucher for the store.
A couple days later, I get another email, and this time apparently their delivery from GW did not contain another item on the list. They said they could send it on when it next comes in, but I would have to pay separate delivery for this. That was a ridiculous sentiment and it annoyed me that as it was hardly my fault they wouldn't even offer to send it on afterwards for free! Instead I asked for them to just drop it from the order and to add that to the value of my voucher.
So I get the order finally, about 2 weeks after I ordered it. It takes about another week before I receive an email for the voucher code, and to my anger, the voucher didn't include the value for the dropped item, so it was well below the value it should have been. I sent yet another email describing my distaste for the customer service, and all I got back was a bunch of nonsense about people being off and it was only a mistake, but it does not do the company a good service to constantly disappoint the customer this way.
In the end I asked for a full refund on the total value I was owed. I can only advise using this company if the additional 5% savings is worth the time and stress of dealing with a company that seems so comfortable in their situation they feel they can take the biscuit with customer time like they do. Use Goblin Games for a significantly better service and an actually loyalty system that makes you feel valued as a customer!
Had no problems, so far seems great!
I've read some of the other reviews about poor customer service and slow deliveries etc. Have to say I've experienced non of that. Been ordering with them for a little while now with a latest purchase of £200. Took from the 17th to the 23rd and my parcel was with me!
Only had one problem a different time where they contacted me saying they had ordered a bulk of the wrong start collecting units and had to wait to get the one I actually wanted in. However they upgraded me to first class at no extra charge and my package got to me the same time it should have.
Very good customer service in all of my experiences, will continue to use them.

I've received very good service over several years.
I've only recently seen the reviews for Triple Helix and am surprised at how very polarised opinion is. I've only bought relatively small amounts of Citadel paints from them over several years but have received nothing but perfectly satisfactory service. And when, early on, I queried a problem with their web site they thanked me and put it right. My latest order had email confirmations of order, processing and dispatch, and arrived within two days. You can't get much better than that so in my case they deserve no less than 5 stars.

It is a shame that i can't leave zero stars.
No conformation email, payment taken, No parcel, back and forth emails, constantly fobbed off with different tails. Below standard business and service. Stay away from this company.

having read the mixed reviews, was a bit concerned over ordering from them. However, i went ahead and pre-ordered the latest 40k with a bunch of paint and some quick shade.
Noted quickshade wasn't in stock, and would hold up my order. It did - but only by 2 or 3 days. I was notified when the order went out, could track it through hermes (think that was delivery firm) and no issues.
Lets be honest, they are by far the cheapest on the web and people grumble about waiting an extra day or two? if your that desperate go to the shops and pay full price!
Wanted somewhere to order from regularly, now I'll never be using them again.
Put in a large (£300+) order, multiple items weren't in stock but I was only told a week or so later. I was then offered to wait for said items (no ETA on stock arrival either) and split the order, then would have to pay £4 additional postage on top of the £9 I'd already paid. Instead I asked for a refund, of which it was only cleared a week later. I also requested a refund on the additional postage I had to pay for with it being such a large order, and that only came in a week after that.
Overall - had to contact customer service 9-10~ times, tried calling the number with no answer, slow response times from CS, slow arrival time (as they keep nothing in stock) and insulted with the way I was treated as a customer and how all of this was handled. Will not ever use again, use somewhere like Element Games instead.
Not the fastest, but certainly the best prices and service!
I've ordered a number of times from these guys and have received consistently good service. Per some of the other reviews here you're not going to get your items fast, but they do have the best prices around. If you need your stuff right now then by all means look elsewhere, but if you want to save money and retain good customer service this is the right place.
Best prices......but need to improve dispatch times
Overall I'm happy with the service. No problems with prices, tend to be the best around. However, the dispatch time leaves a little to be desired, my only gripe.
Poor organisation, slow response.
Just a mess of an order, slow response, still waiting on a refund for an item that wasn't in stock and I cancelled. Ive tried calling a few times for clarification but they seem to finish up early on a Friday which has finally put the nail in the coffin for me.
Abysmal service, not trustworthy
Placed an order, was told it would take 3 weeks to arrive in an e-mail which said to e-mail if you needed it quicker as some items were out of stock. E-mailed back to ask which items were out of stock, waited a day or two with no reply and so asked for order to be cancelled as I could get it elsewhere far quicker in that timeframe and also got no reply. Phoned up after a further week of waiting and asked for a refund.
Was told I could have my refund to my account or as store credit, made it clear I obviously wanted my money back, still waiting for refund to actually come through nearly 2 weeks after I asked for it despite getting an e-mail 10 days ago saying it had been processed.
This company is insanely slow to dispatch stock and seems desperate to hold onto your money. In the past, the only times I've personally experienced companies engaging in this sort of practice is when they have cash flow problems, and so I would always advise to treat this kind of practice as a warning signal and steer clear just in case, as if that were to be the issue then you would risk losing both your money, and your goods. They've had my money for almost 4 weeks now despite me having made clear I wanted the order cancelled just a few days after I ordered. This is a simply unacceptable amount of time to hold someone's money without fulfilling the order or giving a refund.
I ordered from both ElementGames and Goblin Gaming instead who dispatched within hours and delivered next day. Far better service from those guys and actual live stock trackers so you can tell what is and isn't in stock without having to wait for TripleHelix to not reply back to you.
Update: It appears Triple Helix has now responded to my review, unfortunately they've resorted to outright lying, rather than trying to apologise for or rectify the abysmal service, and unacceptably long amount of time which they held onto my money. They absolutely did not for example reply to my e-mail within 2 days, this isn't even a spam folder issue as I don't have one, I receive all mail sent to my address - they just didn't reply at all, let alone in 2 days, hence why I had to phone them at my expense to get them to finally cancel the order two weeks later.
The fact they have resorted to lying simply exacerbates the reason for my complaint - abysmal customer service, and if I could give them 0 stars at this point I would because they not only offer poor service, but then try and blame the customer for it too, even though I've had no problems with ElementGames, Goblin Gaming, and Games Workshop themselves - it's pretty clear where the problem of their poor service lies, and it's not with me. I had no expectation that my order would arrive before Christmas, I did however have an expectation that it would not take the best part of 3 weeks to dispatch and that if I request a cancellation that they would honour it and not hold on to my money for weeks until I chase by phone.
Unlike them, I'm willing to offer a sincere apology if they feel my suggestion that their actions are a common warning sign in terms of whether you can trust the financial stability of a company, however consumers have every right to be aware of such behaviour from companies and the potential risks that that poses. I would remind them that if they are concerned about legality they should probably reconsider lying about the incident and accusing me of lying, as this is defamation of my character, and I would hope that this is not some attempt to try and bully me into deleting my review.

Poor Service, no customer base
Not only did they fail to deliver when I paid extra for expedited delivery, they denied all responsibility and refused to even consider refunding a small amount in delivery charges despite me spending a large amount there. Don't be lulled in by low prices, you pay for peanuts you get monkeys
Excellent Geekery!
Fantastic company which has consistently delivered my sporadic orders correctly and quickly. Very competitive pricing but they have managed to last years without the cost saving methods employed by their competitors: for example not fulfilling orders, or filing for bankruptcy every time the bills get a bit high.
Slight caveat that since they've never let me down I've never had to see what their approach to problem solving is. Based on the last few years I'd hazard a guess that there wouldn't be any dramas.

I have used triplehelix several times for my plastic crack needs and have always been more than happy with the service I've received. Sure, sometimes deliveries may take a little longer but you are constantly updated. I will definitely return for any of my wargaming needs

In my view, Triple Helix is one of the best places for wargaming supplies online. They don't have the biggest range, but their prices are very sharp, they are honest about what's in stock, and if there's a delay with an order they let you know. I order from them regularly (probably too regularly, let's be honest!) and have had no regrets.
