Used to love using Triple Helix Wargames tomorder Games Workshop stuff but they’ve now put their prices up, to the point on some items you’re only saving 50p. Never had a bad experience but when you’re looking to purchase from them to save money, 50p against what you used to save of £3/£4 an item just doesn’t cut it

Not usually one for writing reviews but after using this company over the last few years and being very impressed with their customer service I thought I owed them a good review.

Not only is triplehelix the cheapest place on the web I've found for games workshop products their customer service is second to none. Any time I've had any problems with my orders they are helpful and deal with it in a very quick manner.

Any time I've sent them an email with queries they respond quickly and always answer my questions efficiently. When I phone the staff are always very polite and extremely helpful. I can honestly recommend Tripplehelix to anyone into war-gaming, they've made this extremely expensive hobby of mine affordable

Contacted them to after hearing they brought second hand items, excellent communication throughout and i was offered a fair price for them. i packed them and set them and received a payment from them soon after. I then went on to order a few items off them for a fantastic price better than any other company was offering. I was kept well informed throughout. Great savings great customer services it will be my go to from now on. Thanks

The people who work here are amazing. They always go above and beyond what you would expect from any type of retail outlet or shop, even if something can't be done you know that they've tried their v best to try to get it sorted for you. Everytime I call, no matter what the issue, I am always greeted by a friendly voice and always leave the call feeling happier due to their cheery nature. The web interactions are also just as nice and friendly.

The prices are fantastically low. Yes at times you may have to wait a few more working days for your order, but more often than not the orders arrive just as fast as they would from any other place but with a lower price tag.

Definitely would recommend anyone who hasn't to give these guys and gals a go :)

Always had a great experience with Triple Helix, i order every two weeks over the last three years. Always does what it says on the tin! As long as you order before they order from their suppliers and read the small print with regard to orders and mailing, you will be fine. Thanks Charlotte, Loris and crew.

I don't do many Trustpilot reviews, but think these guys deserve a better ratting than this one (3 stars)!!!

Even with a Xmas shutdown, I have now been waiting since the 20th December for 1 item. I was sent an email that this item had been despatched on the 4th Jan and I am still waiting. This company appears to order to order, in other words, hold no stock and order in from various suppliers as and when an order is placed. Abysmal communication and clearly they have no idea how to operate.

From what I can see, every single review seems to be the buyer failing to read the blatant disclaimer over stock levels and dispatch times. If you want your stock there and then; use GW, or the plentiful other 3rd party sellers. Understand their business model (which they clearly explain), and you will be happy with their service

I have spent thousands of pounds this Autumn /Winter, across many orders, and I have had to wait on things taking longer than I wanted, but their delivery is excellent, from time in transit, to the packaging of said orders. Their stock prices are fantastic, and if you are cooperative with the staff, they are actually very kind and helpful

In conclusion; yes, you my have to wait a bit longer than you may want to, but if you want your pre-order on time; do not leave it until the last day

What an awful experience.
this is the worst customer service i have ever had the misfortune of receiving.
Open a new account on a Tuesday and place an order as looking on the website you would think everything is in stock.
I receive a generic email to confirm the order has been placed.
on Wednesday i receive another generic email informing me my order is being prepared (again i assume as it is being prepared they hold the stock to fulfill my order)
almost 36 hours later i get another email, this time telling me that some or none of my order is actually in stock and it could be 3-9 working days before they receive it in and to please be patient as they are a small company that does not hold much stock.
at this point i am mad, but i give them the benefit and decide to wait until Monday (three working days) before i chase them up.
Monday morning, (now 6 days since order) i email them asking for an update...... no response....
Tuesday, i leave it until mid afternoon and decide i have had enough so raise a complaint through Paypal asking them to cancel my order and refund my money,
an hour or so after this i receive a reply to Mondays email full of excuses about how they are a small company that dont have a live stock listed on their website and that my order has not even been placed with their supplier so wont be delivered to them before Thursday, meaning it would not be delivered to me before Wednesday/Thusday the following week (three weeks after ordering). at this point i email them back informing them i have placed a request for order cancellation and full refund through Paypal as their service is appalling.

How in this day and age can a company expect to survive with a shockingly poor attitude to customer services.... Three weeks wait is ridiculous for the small amount you can save by not buying from a more reputable supplier that can actually supply the goods you have asked for, and the ridiculous excuse of being a small company that does not keep a live stock count on their website is frankly just lazy on their part.

I would suggest if you want to survive as a company you move into the 21st century and learn some customer service skills

I certainly won't be visiting your website again.

I normally need to remind myself I won't be assembling my purchase on the day of delivery anyway!

Read the delivery information which can be found at the bottom of the page under customer service, also contact them via email for stock information they are prompt to respond.

Triple Helix offer the best pricing on a reasonable range of Citadel Miniatures. The compromise is that not all items are held in physical stock; they are held at suppliers and therefore they may not be immediately available. If you want to pay the lowest possible price, this is the compromise you must be prepared to accept. In my case, I ordered at 8.30pm on a Friday and received immediate acknowledgement. On Monday at 8.30am I received confirmation that my order was being prepared. On the Thursday at 4.30pm I received confirmation of dispatch and then I received the items on Saturday at 8.00am. I thought this was an excellent turnaround time, considering I only paid for 2nd class recorded delivery. If you aren't in a rush, I recommend Triple Helix for their intuitive website, regular and concise communication, robust packaging and above all else, their excellent prices.

I have order to or three orders from triple helix no problem until now my order was for 126 pound. Not heard anything off them so I rang them to say they are waiting on stock to arrive so I asked them to cancel my order and they did they sent me a echeque through PayPal which is going to take over a week to clear then it will take another week for PayPal to send it to my bank I paid using my debit card so the refund should be the same way not the way they have done it to cause me stress very poor service and will never use them again

The best prices i have found for games workshop products and quick delivery. What not to like. Really pleased with purchase and would definitely use again.

I have used Triple Helix a few times now, and they have been great. Whilst dispatch can be a little slow (about a week in some cases), this is because they don't keep a huge stock on premises as is clearly stated on the website - this allows them to keep their costs down, which allows the discounts to be big!

If you really really need your stuff right away then by all means throw extortionate money at GW (and you still won't get your pre-order near the actula release date). If not, wait a few more days, and pay a lot less for it!

Service itself has been great and items have arrived well packaged and intact with no errors.

I have to say I'm quite disappointed with Triple Helix. It was my first time ordering from here pre-ordering just under £200 of the new Idoneth Deepkin range. I specifically paid for next day postage to ensure they would arrive on time for release day. Unfortunately, it appears they won't be delivered until at least Monday. As I work full time Monday to Friday the weekend is the best time for me to enjoy Warhammer, furthermore, Saturday is the only day I can ensure I will be home for delivery. Now it might not be until Tuesday or Wednesday until I actually see my order arrive. I'm surprised and disappointed as I've never had an issue with orders arriving in time for release from other online retailers such as Goblin Gaming or Element Games. Both those websites have also given free delivery on large orders. Just a warning, do not buy from this retailer if you expect your pre-orders to arrive on time.

What can I say about the team at Triple Helix, they are awesome

Personally I was a little wary of ordering after reading some of the negative feedback I had read so contacted the company via telephone call. The female staff were amazing very professional and clear information as to how thee company operate was explained.
After a nice conversation I placed my order of £150 and waited for my parcel.As the staff explained they can do the discount because of how they do there ordering and they always do there ordering on a Monday
The items then arrive at there depot by the end of that week and despatched immediately.
I placed my order on the Monday morning just hitting there deadline and received my items on the Thursday of that week

I personally had a good experience with Triple Helix Wargames. I was looking to buy the Warhammer 40K starter set for my son's birthday, as well as scenery and paint sets, so the cost was adding up. But I was able to find Triple Helix Wargames online and they seemed to be the cheapest online seller.

However I became concerned when I saw a lot of the negative reviews trustpilot, about the issues people were having with their delivery times and items not being in stock (I know, I should probably read reviews for a company before I buy from them). So I thought the best thing to do, would be to call them and explain that these items were for a birthday present in two weeks time, so there couldn't be any long delays in delivery time.

But I found the staff member that I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and understood the situation. She explained that they are a small company and only keep a limited amount of stock on site, the rest of their orders are made on a Monday from their suppliers. These items are then delivered to them by the Wednesday and shipped out on Thursday or Friday. She explained that because I'd told them it was a rush order, they would mark the order as a priority and ship it out to me as soon as they had it delivered from their suppliers. This set my mind at ease, as this would easily allow enough time for the items to arrive, but as it turned out I actually received the items within a few days, as they had all of the items in stock.

I presume that they are able to offer cheaper prices then their competitors, because they're not buying a lot of stock at one time. But I can also see how this approach could upset some of their customers, as they've added in an extra stage in the process which is going to delay delivery. Also, they can't guarantee that the items on their website are going to be available from their suppliers, ideally they would have an actual live stock tracker so that you can be confident that what they show is available.

My advice would be to order from them when you're not in a rush for your order, but if you are, then call them first and check to see what they actually have in stock, you should find them to be very helpful. Alternatively, you can order else where if you're in a rush, but you'll probably be paying more.

I've brought a lot of figures from various companies and Triplehelix is my first choice they have the best discount around and you can always order the latest realeses. As for customer services I've always heard back quickly. I had a parcel with a wrong address which was my fault. I received a phone call to make sure I was aware and offered help sorting it out.

The extra money you save with them can really amount up over time. If you want a handful of figures and want them in a couple of days and you can't wait maybe spend the extra and order elsewhere. But I take my time and can wait the extra couple of days knowing on my next order I can get another model with the savings.

Awful!

Like many others, I soon found that items shown as ‘In Stock’ are actually NOT IN STOCK AT ALL!

Any company which - right up-front- consistently LIES to it’s customers about items’ availabilities is UNTRUSTWORTHY, DECEITFUL and UNDERHAND.

I spent over £100 on my order, which now has to be completely re-done with another store, because this bunch of lying amateurs couldn’t be truthful about how long deliveries would take, and how little stock they actually hold.

My advice?

AVOID TRIPLE HELIX WARGAMES LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Love the place, excellent customer service, yes the delivery may be a little slower than most places but a great place to purchase from, always hold this place in high esteam
