My husband and I have done over 30 cycling trip thru our the world with all different companies. This was our first the with Trek Travel. They did an excellent Job! The hotels with spacious room since you have a lot a gear cycling, great food and the Guide were excellent we had all different levels of cyclist on this trip which is very hard . They did great. We will book Trek Travel again.

Well organised, great options of bike and ride distances. The accomodation was first class and we had Koert and Alberto, fantastic guides who ensured we were all safe and had the best time. Truely one of the best cycling tours we have been on! We can’t wait to do another!

This was a great trip. It was very well organized and executed, and the bikes were top-notch. The guides were wonderful, the itinerary was nicely designed, and the bike route was great.

The trip was amazing! The two guides were the best! Friendly, fun, professional, informative. The hotels and restaurant were excellent. I would rate them as 4-5 star. What also made the tour great were the activities outside of cycling. We had down time to swim, rest, we had a tour guide in one town, a wine tasting on the last night and just great people all around. Weather was perfect too in mid September.

Our family of 5 adults had the best time cycling around Puglia with Andrea and Tommaso from Trek Travel. We cannot recommend it highly enough. It was the perfect mix of challenging routes, beautiful pit stops, fabulous accommodation, cultural experiences, authentic food and wonderful hosts. They were engaging, funny, safe and fun! We hope to do it again.

This was our third trip with Trek Travel, and once again the experience has been impressive. From the ease of booking to the guides, the routes, and the accommodations, this has once again been a vacation of a lifetime.
I think that these vacations are genuinely an amazing way to explore a destination as part of a journey. We have found that the groups vary in size, but there isn't a sense of forced fun, you can be as active within the group or as private as you want to be.
One thing that I love about these trips is that in Europe, drivers are actually courteous to cyclists, which is a refreshing change of pace compared to their American counterparts. Yes, you will ride on roads, but they are typically very quiet, and the drivers you do encounter are kind, so even if you are hesitant to ride on roads in the US, you will feel comfortable in Europe.
A word about the bikes: Trek has a great range of bikes, and the offerings for the trips are ideally suited. The Domane is the classic road bike, fast and efficient without beating you up or being too aggressive or twitchy. The Checkpoint+ is a fantastic e-assist bike for those who may not have the confidence to tackle the elevation that's a part of the tour. Normally, I wouldn't choose an e-assist bike; however, given the level of climbing during the Prague to Vienna trip, coupled with the lack of elevation training available in Southeastern Michigan, I reluctantly opted to give this bike a try - I'm glad I did. On the ascents, it made a difference, to be sure. The Checkpoint+ is definitely the e-assist option that I would recommend. The Verve is the standard e-assist bike offered, but it's not ideal for this kind of riding in my opinion. The upright commuter positioning is not as conducive to this type of ride. Yes, you can do it, but the $400 upcharge for the Checkpoint+ is money well spent if you are anything other than an absolute beginner. My only criticism of the bikes is the bland paint. This is a marquee marketing event, and it's certainly a way to sell bikes, so I wish Trek would feature some of their other colorways for the Domane; at least the Checkpoint+ has some personality.
All said, these are amazing vacations and we're already planning our next one! Maybe we'll be on the same trip in the future. Ride sagfe!

The Costa Brava trip was amazing. Great cycling routes to be sure, but also superb accommodations, restaurants and company. Our guides Miqui and Gawain are the best!

Outstanding guides, beautiful rides, and amazingly delicious food.

Guides were excellent! Orcas Island had some nasty cars drivers but, other than that, biking was great.

I really enjoyed this trip. The difficulty level was described accurately, which helped me choose a trip that was right for me. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, the hotels were beautiful, and we had some great experiences along the way. I also met a wonderful group of people, which made the trip even more enjoyable.

The trip was fantastic! The pacing, areas chosen to explore, and both leaders were exceptional. It was great to have group time and then some time alone to explore. The food was fantastic and accommodations lovely. An extra bonus was that one of our leaders grew up in the area. The extra historical background, both personal and global was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone!

The trip was carefree and classy without being snooty. There was a great balance between ride time, free time and planned activities. They do a good job accommodating riders of all levels and abilities. What was really nice is that everything was carefree so you could relax and also enjoy the rides. They take care of everything so you can get on the bike and ride then hand the bike off at the end of the day.
We had a couple of issues which is why 4 stars vs 5
1. The first day 16 out of 18 people in our group ended up is the wrong location and missed 1/2 of the route. The guides then blamed the guest - if 1 or 2 people get lost that is one thing, but when 16 get lost and all end up in the same place (we were not riding in a pack).
2. I upgraded my bike to the checkpoint + ($399 extra) but encountered technical issues with the electronics. The guides tried to fix it, but I don’t think they were trained properly on that bike. The other rider with the checkpoint+ had similar issues.
We reached out to Trek leadership and they pretty much blew us off.

This trip was very organized and the guides were fantastic. The knowledge of the places we treked through were very informative.
The ease of moving to our different location was again very easy and efficient. The local food and places we dined at were very Impressive and delicious.
The walking was not bad and I would agree on the leaves that was described as in the booklet.
I would definitely tell people to look into this trip

Every aspect of our trip exceeded our expectations! Guides were awesome and went out of their way to make sure the group had everything that was needed.
It was definitely worth the money we paid!

From Trip Planning to end and everything in between it was a great experience. Great tour guides who made things comfortable for me on my first ride in high mountains. Great scenery, Great facilities to stay in, restaurant selections were very good. Even the hiking was an experience will never forget.
