I have been suffering from acne for a very long time and tried everything but nothing worked for me. The waiting list for NHS is rather too long so I was recommended to try treatdirect and it has been so far the best thing I have ever done for myself. I had regular appointments with the doctor checking my progress throughout my 6 months treatment. I had to take a blood test at home twice which was so easy to do and reliable too, it also came with free postage so you didn’t have to pay. From the consultation I was sent my meds with a description on how to take it and it came through the mail pretty fast. After a month of taking my isotretinoin I started to purge badly but apparently that was a sign that the meds are working perfectly because it gets worst before it gets better. I had best advice from treatdirect on how to cope and carry on with the treatment without giving up as well as a good skin care routine. 4 months in and I started seeing results. I mean amazing results. My skin started to take a huge turn from bad to excellent. I have now completed my 6 months treatment which went pretty quick and I can’t express how I feel about my skin and the nonstop compliments I’m getting from family and friends. I wish I had done this sooner as my confidence has boosted ever since completing my treatment. I cannot stop but to talk about how happy and blessed I was to be recommended to treatdirect and I’m happy to share my journey with anyone out there suffering from acne. Good easy experience with this company. Finally have my skin under control after 10+ year battling with it! I have always had a thorough skincare routine but when there is an underlying issue issue skincare routines will never fixed the problem.

Everyone I dealt with were very attentive and care for your well-being whilst on the treatment. They organise catch ups with you over the phone to make sure everything is going okay and they also ask for photo updates to keep on their record.

They are very responsive when it comes to contact via email and they have plenty of availability for booking in your telephone catch ups. Having availability on the evenings and weekends is a bonus as many companies wouldn’t do that.

If you have any harsh side effects such as sore lips, itchy skin etc.. they will give you good recommendations to ease them. I was recommended a thick lip cream, a body oil for my itchiness and luke warm showers instead of hot showers. All of these things really helped me

One thing I would say is that I was very apprehensive to start using roaccutanne because of all the horror stories I heard online, because I was so apprehensive, treat direct eased me into it so that I was comfortable with the dosage and side effects and only went up in dosage when I felt comfortable to do so which I really appreciated. I started on 10mg, when I was happy we went onto 20mg etc.. then ended on 60mg which was no way near as bad as I was expecting in regards to side effects. One thing I say is to not be alarmed by the redness of your face, it does subside with time.
I was referred here from Dr H Consult who was also amazing for the scarring side of things.

My experience of Treatdirect has been really positive. I took Roaccutane a few years ago and had really clear skin until last summer when I decided to go off the pill. My hormones took a while to regulate, which caused havoc with my skin. I tried many products and methods such as Skin+me and various expensive skincare products, but found it very stressful and nothing worked.

Treatdirect seemed like the perfect solution as it reduced the need for expensive private appointments, and had all the care provided within the price. From communication to receiving the treatment, everything was very easy and Dr Divvya understood my needs and offered excellent care.

As it was my second stint I knew what to expect but I still had a lot of purging at first. I lost quite a lot of hair volume too- but this was my only major symptom apart from dry lips. Initially my legs felt slightly painful but this went away within the first week. Some of the spots I got during the purge period were quite painful but it is relieving to know that it was doing something. My body reacted quickly however, and my skin texture has improved completely. I still have some scarring but I have since purchased the aftercare products prescribed to me so I am looking forward to bettering the results in the coming months.

The whole process was very low hassle- I only needed two blood tests over the six months, which was carried out with ease at the Harley Street Clinic in London. They used baby needles so there was no pain/bruising and it was very quick.

Dr Divvya was really attentive, as was the rest of the team in replying to emails and giving me the right medication. I loved how everything is home-delivery and online which really saves time, and the need to take time off work to see a doctor. I would really recommend this to anyone who wants an easy fix to improve their skin.

My acne came on quite sudden, was super hormonal and I tried everything…quite literally everything and spent a ton of money over a two year period so I thought my next and final step would be accutane. I knew going through the NHS was not an option for me due to the long waiting lists and my acne probably not being “severe” enough to even go on accutane so I did my research and came across TreatDirect.

My experience with treatdirect has been so smooth. Since the beginning, I the team have been easy to communicate with and responsive. My appointments with the doctors have been great - they have answered any queries that I have and recommended products to help me along the process.

I started this treatment as my health insurance wouldn't fund treatment, and quotes from other private dermatologists were unaffordable. Treatdirect offered an affordable alternative, and with all the appointments (other than blood tests) being over the phone, and later in the evening, this treatment didn't interrupt my working day. This was very important to me, as a lot of the treatment options that were available to me required numerous visits to Harley Street, which would have required me to use annual leave.

I had suffered with my skin since I was a teen, and whilst it had been up and down I have struggled to clear it. Before trying roaccutane, i had tried everything, including spirolactone, and had had no success. I had active spots around my jawline, and redness around my nose. I believe that a lot of this was caused by the fact that until a couple of years ago, I had undiagnosed coeliac disease, and my immune system has been slowly healing.

My skin very quickly healed. I'm very lucky that I didn't purge, so my skin never got worse. I did suffer from dryness, particularly my lips, but used lots of products to calm this. I also had some joint soreness and treatdirect offered recommendations for supplements to help reduce that.

I'm really happy that I did this, and wish I had done it sooner. Since I have finished, my skin is smooth, the redness is gone, and there are no blemishes. The after care that treatdirect recommended is great at keeping my skin clear.

I have finished my treatment with Treatdirect in October 2022. I was put on Roaccutane in May and the 5 months of treatment have been incredibly worth it. My skin is now smooth and I no longer wake up with a new breakout.

As for my background, my adult hormonal acne started when I was 19 years old. Initially I went to my GP who gave me antibiotics. Whilst these worked for a few months, my acne would always come back and I knew that antibiotics would not be a long term solution. I was on and off from antibiotics for 3 years and the acne always came back and rather stalled time.

I knew that I did not want to trial and error with my skin any longer and the only real way to bring long lasting effects is through Accutane, which I knew would be a lengthy process with the NHS and their waitlists.

After my initial appointment, the team had to check if I was eligible to take Isotretinoin, so I had to sign the iPledge scheme to ensure I would not be pregnant during treatment, alongside issuing bloodwork. As someone who is squeamish and scared of traditional blood tests, I am very thankful that I could do my bloods at home using the home kit they send with lancets. These kits enable a sample from the finger and are inclusive in their treatment plan. I am so thankful that a service like Treatdirect exists because they made my treatment feel really comfortable and easy. I was very impressed with how quick and efficient the whole process was, as a week onwards from my initial enquiry, I was delivered my treatment package.

During treatment I was well informed of when my medication would be delivered, and also other general facts so I was always kept in the know-how. I had routine check-ups with my Doctor who made sure I was managing well. I was really fortunate not to have experienced any side effects other than dry lips, and I believe this was due to Dr Divya’s careful alternate dosing. Side effects differ with each patient, but I was really pleasantly surprised at how minimal the side effects were for me and the end results were super well worth it.

If you have the resources and you are looking for a solution to acne I would definitely advocate that your skin is something to invest in, everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their skin and not wake up with skin that is painful to touch. My acne used to make me shy away from cameras and social settings and I realised it was a bigger problem than ‘just spots’, I was always self-conscious about my acne and it mentally exhausted me.

I now notice that my skin is still the first thing people comment on, but this time around it is kind words and how my skin looks healthy and supple. For this reason I am truly grateful that a service like Treatdirect exists and wish the best for anyone who is planning to go on their treatment. I started my Treatdirect journey mid March and have been discharged October, before writing a review, I waited a couple of months to see my post isotretinoin results and it’s safe to say I am very pleased.

Some background information: I have suffered with acne for around 15 years, after being on countless amount/different brands of antibiotics, contraceptive pill, tropical treatment I was losing hope. I would break down in tears everyday, couldn’t bare to look at myself in the mirror, didn’t want to go out etc. Overall I was very anxious and depressed all due to my skin.

I came across treatdirect via a google search and reading some fantastic reviews on trustpilot. Although I was sceptical at first, especially after hearing the horror stories about isotretinoin I decided I had nothing to lose, might as well try it and boy am I glad I did!!! It has honestly, hand on heart changed my life. I made an appointment via their website (no charge for this) and had an appointment within a few days. I was shocked at how quick it all was! I had my appointment with Dr Divya, a wonderful person who was fully understanding about my struggles with acne and really listened and comforted me during our appointment. Dr Divya agreed that isotretinion will be suited for me since I’ve tried all other methods to get rid of my acne.

A week after my initial appointment I was then put on isotretinion, the medication was dispatched quickly and I received it via post. During the course I had monthly check ups with Dr Divya, spoke about any side effects I had etc. I also had couple of blood tests during the process. The side effects I had were mild joint pains and very dry lips, that’s all! I couldn’t believe it. It sounds silly, but I thoroughly enjoyed my isotretinoin journey.

Watching my skin change each month was a thrill! By month 3 my acne had completely cleared and it just got better from there. When I do get a breakout it clears within a day whereas before isotretinion it used to take weeks to clear. I can’t remember the last time I have seen a breakout or even cried about my skin. Also, it’s been around 2 months post isotretinion and my skin is still super super clear, any breakout (like 1 spot during the time of month) clears up within a day and I’m back to having beautiful clear skin. This medication has changed my life and I’m annoyed I didn’t take this earlier.

My mental health is 100% better and I am much more confident. I can leave my house without make up, something I haven’t been able to do in 15years! I get complimented on my clear skin and it’s honestly the best decision I ever made. From the first initial appointment till my last, it was fantastic. They even offer weekend appointments for those working weekdays. Honestly treatdirect you changed my life and for that I am truly grateful! Thank you so much! Oh another thing, I am still waiting to hear back from the NHS-dermatologist department, only been around 2 years! Ridiculous! Treatdirect all the way, you’ll be in safe hands and the process is super quick!

My experience with Treat Direct has been 5 star! I have suffered with acne all through my teenage years and now i’m 25, i needed it to stop being an issue for me everyday. I first of all went to the nhs, but this became a very long wait and i wanted to go on roccutane as quick as possible to make sure i had clear skin in time for my wedding day. My confidence was at an all time low and i needed a life line to help this. After googling, i found treat direct. The process was so easy and they were really helpful and clear with the way they explained the process.
Through out my time on roaccutane all the appointments were easily made over email and the doctor calls were always prompt, thorough and insightful. I felt very well supported. The doctor would go through any issues you’ve had that month and as i was not london based they sent me the blood tests to do at home which was very helpful.

The treatment its self was tough but very much worth it. I had a purge stage for 3-4 months and then it started to settle. I have been left with scars however this is so so much better than the awful spots/cysts i was getting before.
Any questions i’ve asked they have gotten back to me within 24 hrs or less.
The delivery of the tablets was always next day delivery, and i was never waiting for delivery.
I would recommend treat direct 100% as they were so thorough and helpful.

I started my Roaccutane journey with TreatDirect at the end of 2021 and finished it in May 2022 and I am very pleased with my skin results! I had previously tried many acne products on my skin, as well as antibiotics but cleared my skin. I was quite worried about trying Roaccutane, however from my first consultation the dermatologist gave me lots of useful information about the medication and the process. The process was very quick and efficient, which meant I could begin taking the medication very quickly. I did the blood tests at home using the home kit, which was a bit of a struggle at first, but become easy to do in the end.
I experienced quite a few side effects including lower back pain, dry skin, skin rashes and cracked and dry lips, however these were all manageable and I was able to cope with these side effects. TreatDirect were very organized and responsive throughout the process. All my check-ups were on time and my dermatologist always gave me advise and recommendations on how to deal with the side effects. My skin purged for the first 2 months, and I noticed it beginning to clear at around 3 months. From then on, my skin got clearer and clearer each month! The side effects soon went away also when I finished Roaccutane.
I am very pleased with my results and am glad that I took Roaccutane, I wish I had done it sooner!! TreatDirect were very helpful and supportive and always replied to emails quickly. I found TD on Instagram, I was abit skeptical at first but I decided to get In contact to see what they were about. The fast response and professionalism really reassured me throughout the process. They offered for me to come into their lab in London to do my blood tests as I was struggling to get my own blood using the home kits. When i arrived there it again I was dealt with so professionally. The nurse who carried out my blood test was lovely and fast. It was painless. The doctor I had was very honest she actually advised that my face wasn’t bad, but as I had acne on my back, chest and arms she was willing to take me on. It was the best decision I made. It’s been 4 months I have been off it and not a single spot in sight. I can now confidently wear whatever clothing I want without thinking twice to hide my arms and back, I feel so much better about myself, it's the boost I needed. I am so happy and I’m full of confidence now thanks to TD. Now that I am done with my course, my skin is amazing!!! Easy, convenient and worthwhile

Having suffered with acne for 5+ years, it became unbearable during the past 2 years. Having tried the usual course of prescribed antibiotics and creams, which had limited and short-lasting impacts, I needed something that would actually work in clearing painful acne and help regain some self confidence. At first I was skeptical going through a private clinic in case it wouldn’t work but I have been pleasantly surprised with how effective, efficient and easy the whole process and medication has been.

From the 1st consultation, to taking my first blood test, to receiving the medication, it was around 10-14 days which was definitely a lot quicker than other avenues. Being able to do at-home blood tests and virtual check ups with the dermatologist has been extremely convenient as it has worked around my schedule and I everything gets delivered straight to my front door. Having regular check ups and contact with the dermatologist (the amazingly helpful and supportive Dr. Divya) meant I could ask questions regarding the medication and side effects easily and without the need to wait too long.

The 6 month course of roaccutane has helped clear my skin up more than any other course of antibiotics, stopped deep rooted breakouts that were once painful and improved the appearance of redness on my face. Despite the range of possible side effects, I only really suffered from dry lips and patches of dry skins, which was soon relieved with moisturiser and lip balm. I have suffered with acne for all of my adulthood and most of my teenage years. I finally had enough when I was missing out on real life opportunities because I was ashamed of my skin. I'd suffered from acne since I was 13. I've seen my GP over 10 times, and tried everything my GP could prescribe and have been on the wait list for an NHS dermatology wait list for FOREVER.
I'd tried oral antibiotics, tropicals and over the counter. No success.

Finally, I gave up and went privately with treatdirect.

I went with treatdirect because it seemed very easy. All my appointments were online. Medication was mailed quickly. I got lots of appointment reminder emails. They also mailed me pregnancy tests.

I was terrified when starting treatment because there is so much hype around isotretinoin. I did have side effects but it wasn’t the end of the world and way way easier than I ever thought it would be. I’m not sure why I was so apprehensive. My view was I knew what I signed up for, the side effects where even that bad and it wasn’t forever.

One thing I was surprised about was how long it took for my acne to go away, a few months if I remember rightly.

I had no idea how bad it was and how miserable it was making me. I’d had acne for 7 years so I didn’t know what it was like to live without it.

I had started Roaccutane on 01 May 2022 and I have since finished my treatment. I am still amazed how quick everything was arranged for by the team, and how easy it was after the initial consultation / and in issuing my blood test.

I had only come across treatdirect through instagram so I was apprehensive at first, but I am SO pleased that I went ahead with treatment. My doctor ( Dr Divya) was very helpful and I was lucky enough to have very minimal side effects during my treatment, as the dosage recommended was perfect.

I would thoroughly recommend treatdirect if you have stubborn acne and contemplating whether to go on accutane, I would say was definitely worth it and the plus point of not having to wait for nhs waitlists made the experience super efficient and fast.

I have suffered with hormonal acne for 5+ years, which was originally triggered by the contraceptive pill. I have tried various other products before resorting to roaccutane medication. I have used previously over the counter medications, other forms of birth control, two different types of oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics. I tried everything but roaccutane and tret direct have given me my skin back.
I was becoming increasingly concerned with regards to the scarring I was accumulating over the years so I decided to go private after an informed choice, heavily influenced by current dermatology wait times in the NHS.
I had an initial consultation with Dr Divya who looked through my photos that I uploaded and advised me on a treatment pathway. She is a lovely Dr who I trusted very much throughout my journey.
I accepted the offer to start roaccutane medication in April 2022. The whole process was very easy and well managed, I was supported during my entire journey and each member of the tret direct team was approachable and answered any questions I had. I had a review once a month with Dr Divya who ensured I was comfortable during the process and it gave me opportunity to discuss any side effects I was experiencing with the medication.
In regard to taking the medication, Dr Divya adjusted my dose where necessary. I experienced some mild side effects, dry skin, dry / cracked lips, occasional joint pain when I was on my highest dose. Originally I experienced some headaches to start but this ended once my body had got used to the medication. I have completed six months on roaccutane and was discharged on the 11th October.

Tretdirect was great! The team work very fast to help you. From my first consultation to then receiving the medication, there was barely a weeks wait, compared to years with the NHS. They respond to your concerns straight away and are very clear!
Dr Gordon was amazing! Very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to! She was always available to contact and ask questions and gave detailed responses! They clearly care about your skin and want to help you.
The medications are delivered to your door and all the consultations are virtual so it saved SO much time. The appointments are very regular so you feel stress free knowing that you’re in good hands and you don’t feel rushed at all as you have plenty of time to ask everything you need to. The medications arrived pretty much the next working day so there was no gaps between medications. I experienced no issues with anything, they keep you updated and there’s always someone to ask questions. Well worth the price and I regret not doing it earlier! I would give it a 10/10 for sure as I’ve come out of the process with clear skin and I’m very happy with the results and service. Having gone through isotretinoin before with the NHS, there is a big difference as with the NHS it was the biggest hassle and I wasted so much time and energy. In the consultation you are speaking to a doctor which was also very reassuring, and the consultation was a video call so very easy to show everything I wanted to if my skin so the doctor can make a clinical judgement. I experienced no side effects at all other than dry lips and slightly dry lips, but nothing that wasn’t manageable. No appointments were cancelled or rescheduled even! Everything happened on time as it was supposed to! The doctor was always on time to the consultations too which was very important to me as I am quite busy.

So grateful to tret direct for their services ! I was so lucky to find them through instagram where I heard about getting isotretinoin for a way cheaper price and it seemed so good that I genuinely couldn’t believe it. The team were so helpful with answering any queries or questions I had about the process and the medication, and my personal dermatologist was so kind, helpful and understanding the whole way through my treatment. It’s really great because the whole way through the process it all feels very personal and tailored to you for example, the monthly check-ups on the phone were so convenient as I could have the meetings anywhere, which was especially great for me as for part of my treatment I was on my year abroad. I started suffering from acne around the time I started my third year at university and I put it down to stress at the time.
