I telephoned to get a quotation for our forthcoming cruise as we had our policy with them last year. The sales assistant was very patient and helpful and all made very easy. So I took out the policy there and then.

Great customer service ,top company for holiday insurance
For health reasons I had to cancel my cruise insurance,
When I contacted I was answered by Rachel who could not have done any more to help me,she and other members of staff helped to sort my problem.
This company and its staff deserve a gold medal for their
Efforts to help me which they did Brilliantly .

Our holiday problems made easier by Travel insurance saver
My wife and I both in our eighties developed pneumonia soon after arriving in Spain, the hospital dealt directly with a very helpful agent from Axa Travel insurance saver and made our claim very easy for us.
We had extra claims after arriving home 3 weeks later from a 1 week holiday again we had excelent service from a very helpful team at Travel insurance saver.

This is the second time I’ve used this travel insurance. I’ve been impressed by the person I’ve dealt with. They listen and seem knowledgeable and helpful. The price was the best I found.

I have still not had any payment from…
I have still not had any payment from axa after 7 months they have come up with ever excuses .I payed £ 180 for my medical records that they asked for .barhead travel also sent them all the information that they asked for . I am 81 years old and this has been so stressful. I have already put this on trust pilot but it has not made any difference .

I am sorry to hear that you have still not heard from AXA regarding your claim and the frustration this may have caused.
I have found your policy and can see that the claims documents from Barhead travel were submitted to us at Travel Insurance Saver and not the Claims department. These have been sent to Claims.
I will also contact AXA and ask them to contact you as a matter of urgency.

Communication was key
The price was good, luckily I didn’t need to claim, I felt confident that had I needed to it would have been a smooth process, as the company kept in touch via email throughout and I felt secure (being a solo senior citizen), I will definitely use them again
