Excellent service from this company
Excellent service from this company. I insured my 17 year old daughter for her first girls holiday abroad.
I spoke with two separate members of staff who actually called me back at my convenience. Both staff members were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Given my daughter was under 18 years of age and travelling with her friends it wasn't straight forward to buy insurance online. All companies were coming back stating the policy holder must travel with an adult over the age of 18. 4medical completely sorted this over the phone.
I can't recommend this company highly enough.

Dissappointing so far
Further to response and in full disclosure - my son has Cerbyl Palsy and I am his appointee, which I provided proof of. I was allowed to apply for his policy online, declaring his medical needs and rang to add on a condition I realised I had ommitted. Whilst I fully appreciate GDPR the process then became ridiculous. I am hoping that my son does understand he has to agree to me talking on his behalf but wanted to highlight this issue for anyone else looking after a disabled person's interests. It is a concern there is still a lack of understanding.
A clear understanding of customers needs and how they function in life is lacking with operatives. Whilst I understand that most insurance companies are self motivated to sell policies to not be aware of needs does not reassure me if 'God forbid' a claim was needed.

Thank you for your comments. I can completely understand your frustration in this situation that because you were not listed on the policy, you were unable to make any changes on the policy holders behalf. Even such a close family member!
We do however take Data Protection very seriously and we would not be doing our job adequately if we didn't. This ensures the protection of the policy holder which I am sure you will agree is paramount. A complete and utter understanding and consideration of customers needs.
I understand that we have spoken with you and confirmed how to easily rectify this situation and to allow us to discuss the policy with you and amend it on your confirmation. We just must ensure that we follow the correct procedure to complete this.
I can see that the policy has now been updated and we will of course take the feedback on board and pass it on to the relevant department.

Website very easy to navigate
Very straight forward in signing up ..for a good price but also catered for my needs . . As someone who works in the insurance industry I already understand the technicality of this specifically how monies are protected but speaking from the consumer side I still found the terms easy to understand nevertheless and was very straight to the point and clear.
