I feel this company did not do its best
I did not like the way the company led me to believe my time share was worth 75 % more than the final offer, I do not think they advertised my property pack in its best condition, I felt as though I had paid too much to advertise my property (£750 to receive £1,200)

Unfortunately, timeshare is very difficult to value and although we have price guidelines, we cannot guarantee a specific amount. It would be unprofessional of us to do so as timeshare is not an investment.
Despite the interest and enquiries over the 10 months we advertised your points ownership (which included insertion into the Mail), I can see you accepted £1,300 for your points with a full refund of £649 advertising costs, receiving £1,949 in total.
You could, of course, have waited for a better offer, as we do not guarantee a specific time frame in which to sell. Nor can we force a potential purchaser to offer more than they are willing.
Please note that we are an intermediary and return all advertising costs to the seller, therefore the higher the selling the price the more we receive for our involvement, which is usually around 10% of the sales proceeds.
In closing, please rest assured we did our utmost to secure a sale at a reasonable amount. Thank you.
This company know how to resale time shares
They responded immediately to initial request for information. Their advice was helpful and they were always available to answer queries. I am not certain that it was necessary to pay additional advertising fee and I felt that I was pressed into paying this without time to consider. The fee was refunded as promised when the sale was completed but it was taken into account when the final net sales figure was calculated. Overall I was pleased with the device and would certainly recommend the company.

Although optional, on occasion it is beneficial to take out additional advertising to present your timeshare in the best light to as large an audience as possible to find the right buyer. The responses to your original advertising campaign would have been considered when the consultant gave you this advice.
Timeshare isn’t easy to sell and we are pleased we were able to sell your ownership and bring matters to a satisfactory conclusion.
Timeshare Re-Sale
I had used Travel & Leisure Group in the past to rent out my timeshare weeks and had found them to be very helpful & professional. This year the time had come to sell it so I entrusted them with that task based on my past experience. They found a buyer and the price was acceptable so the formalities and legal issues were sorted out & I got the payment exactly as we had agreed. The whole process took 5 months from start to finish which, considering we were dealing with Diamond Resorts, was an acceptable time frame.
I'm impressed with my dealings with Travel & Leisure and would recommend them.

Excellent experience
We have had an excellent experience using Travel & Leisure to purchase a timeshare resale in Madeira. Heather in sales was very patient with us while exploring the possibilities and waiting for the right property and dates to become available that suited us. She kept us informed promptly at all times. Harriette in the legal team has also been extremely informative and helpful at all stages of the process. The whole purchase has gone through within a month and we are very happy with Travel & Leisure and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Travel & Leisure - thoroughly recommend
We purchased from TLG around 8 years ago, so had no hesitation on buying from them again. From the first call with Gary Rantell to the final legal formalities with Paula Cox it took just 11 working days to complete and we’ve just received the certificate today. Absolutely wonderful service we can’t recommend them highly enough.

You originally registered, free of charge back 2018 to let your unused points but failed to book any weeks. When you decided to advertise to sell in 2022 (which was and still is subject to our price guarantee), we advised against listing your points free of charge as there are costs attributed to the resale that neither us or you have any control over. These include resort the transfer fee, escrow and legal costs. Offering your timeshare at zero monies gives a false illusion to potential purchasers, especially when these costs are the added after seeing a 'free of charge' advert.
In addition you ignored requests to personalise your advert to make it more appealing and we had to remind you that the resale process takes time that we cannot force a new owner to take your membership.
All in all, a very unfair and inaccurate review and we most certainly did not 'rip you off'... In fact, please see the review left on 24 May 2023 from a purchaser of DRI points.
Absolute joke of a company
Absolute joke of a company - do not pay an upfront fee at all it will never sell. Complete scam from start to finish.
