We had a really positive experience with Transpack Moving Service for our shipment from Houston, USA to Düsseldorf, Germany.
What stood out most was their communication and overall sense of responsibility. Our shipment was delayed by about two weeks due to the shipping line and depot, but they kept us regularly updated the whole time. That transparency really helped us plan ahead and kept the stress level manageable.
There was also a small hiccup on delivery day with a parking permit, mainly because of a last-minute change in our address. It could have turned into a bigger issue, but the Transpack representative on the ground handled it quickly and professionally. Special thanks to him for sorting it out without any hassle.
The delivery crew was great—punctual, careful with our belongings, and clearly experienced. Everything was handled with care, and they paid attention even to smaller details, which you don’t always see.
Overall, the whole process felt smooth and well-organized despite a few challenges along the way. Good coordination, responsive team, and no unpleasant surprises. Would definitely use their services again and recommend them to anyone planning an international move.

Transpack gave me updates on my goods as they were carried through the North Sea. The team was friendly, personable, and treated our items with care. I would recommend this company to anyone requiring moving services.
They communicated well at every step and answered each question I had. It was my second international shipment. The team is the US was superb and they chose Transpack to work with. Our things made it through customs without any problems and Transpack stored our things until a delivery time was coordinated. We only had 1 platter broken, that was probably my husband's packing -- all the glassware and everything else arrived in perfect condition. The 2 delivery guys were polite and really helpful - and tri-lingual! Thanks, Femke and team!!

I strongly recommend not using Transpack Moving Company.
It took over six months to receive my belongings. Communication was extremely poor. The representative I dealt with, Femke, rarely responded to emails, and when she did, it was often days or even weeks later with a few words. Never took accountability and was always making mistakes.
My shipment was supposed to be delivered three months earlier, but there was always a new excuse and an additional unexpected fee. At one point, I was even charged twice for a fee I had already paid. The situation became so frustrating that I had to file a police report. Only after that did I start receiving responses.
The address and location details were shared in July 2025, 2 months before shipping and 8 months before delivery. On the scheduled day of delivery my shipment was canceled and I was charged a “long-distance fee,” even though the movers were parked directly across the street which was only 5 meters. Transpack held my shipment hostage and refused to say even what country my stuff was in until I paid their extra fees. Transpack said the moving company was demanding the long carry fee but the movers themselves said I should not have been charged this fee, never received such money from Transpack and were unaware it was asked for.
To make matters worse, nearly all of my furniture arrived damaged. One credenza door is completely broken, my couch is ripped in three places, and another credenza is badly dented. There has been no accountability taken for the damage.
Overall, this was a complete mess — nearly 200 emails over several months just to get my belongings delivered. What initially seemed like a good deal turned into a stressful experience filled with extra costs and damaged furniture that now needs to be replaced.
I would give zero stars if that were possible. Save yourself the stress and choose another company, even if it costs a little more.

We used Transpack for our relocation from New York, USA to Haarlem, Netherlands, and overall the experience was very positive.
The packing team in New York was professional and efficient. Fragile items were packed carefully, and the inventory process was well organized. Our shipment arrived within the estimated timeframe, and customs clearance in the Netherlands went smoothly. The delivery team in Haarlem was punctual, respectful, and reassembled our furniture correctly.
There were a couple of minor issues. During the sea transit phase, updates were not always proactive—we occasionally had to request status information. Also, the final invoice was slightly higher than the initial estimate due to additional port charges, which could have been communicated more clearly in advance. Fortunately, there was no damage to our belongings.
Overall, Transpack provided a reliable international moving service, and despite small communication gaps, we would recommend them for overseas relocations.

My grandparents arranged for their belongings to be shipped from the Netherlands to New York. Although they are an elderly couple, the communication during the process was excellent, resulting in a much smoother and less stressful experience than anticipated. The shipment was delivered approximately five to six weeks after the packing was completed in the Netherlands. Based on their experience, I would 100% recommend their service.

I ship 5th barrels to jamaica In November 2025 after the hurricane I was got a email from Elisabeth oldershaw the barrel reaches jamaica on the 31st of December 2025 my sister and flew to jamaica on the 25th of January 2026 to clear the barrels
I spent two weeks In jamaica and did not get my goods my sister is still currently in trying to see if she will get them before she leaves on Sunday the 15th of February 2026
I spoke to the person in jamaica that Elisabeth put me in contact with (janelle) she didn't gave me any clear answer has to when I will be able to receive my items
I spoke to several people in jamaica and nobody seemed to know how to go about helping me to get my barrels
When I came back to the UK on Monday 9th February 2026 I call Elisabeth on Tuesday the 10th as time is running out for my sister to return to the UK and she still don't know if she will get them.
When l spoke to Elisabeth oldershaw she told me she was going to contact Kingston port and get back to me, but she not so I call back today Wednesday 11th the told me she was going to email me so I can send her some information so she can see if she can help me with getting the barrels before my sister leave on Sunday but again (Elisabeth oldershaw) hang up the phone and did nothing she only tell me what she thinks I want to hear, just enough for me to go away
If you have any thing to ship to jamaica please don't ship with this company Transpakship because the broker that they use in jamaica is useless and transpakship is also no help they will just lie to you so you go away

We used Transpack (Rotterdam) for our family move from The Hague to Lugano, and I would strongly advise others to avoid them based on our experience.
1. Inaccurate Survey and Cost Dispute
The initial video survey quoted 32m³, and we paid €9,000 upfront for packing, shipping, storage, and full unpacking/assembly. On packing day in July, the team declared it was 40m³, which we accepted.
However, a week later Transpack suddenly claimed 55m³ and refused to release our shipment until we paid an additional €6,000. After we challenged this, they admitted their reinspection was incorrect and reduced it to 50m³, eventually charging for 42m³ after weeks of back-and-forth.
This entire process felt like pressure tactics: holding our shipment hostage while refusing to acknowledge their own errors or provide transparent measurements.
2. Delivery Delays and Poor Communication
From the outset, we made it clear we required delivery mid-August. The dispute (created by Transpack’s miscalculation) delayed our shipment until September, with no warning that these “internal deliberations” would affect timing.
Emails went unanswered, information was inconsistent, responsibility was passed between staff, and the person in charge went on holiday mid-process without delegating decisions.
3. Packing and Unpacking Failures
When the subcontracted delivery company finally arrived, even they were surprised by the poor quality of packing and labeling. Boxes were inefficiently packed, some nearly empty, others stuffed with excessive padding inflating the m³ and screws and parts were missing or unlabelled, preventing proper furniture assembly. We have items that are disassembled to this day as we need to buy new specific screws for.
Despite paying for full unpacking and assembly, the team had to leave late at night with the job unfinished, leaving us to complete it ourselves.
4. Refund Disputes and Additional Charges
Afterward, Transpack initially promised to refund part of the unpacking fee but instead deducted a “long carry” charge the subcontractors themselves had never heard of. When we requested debris removal, they offered to waive the cost only if we gave up our right to a refund; a deeply unprofessional approach.
Bottom Line
Transpack subcontracts all services yet fails to manage them properly. Communication was poor, accountability lacking, and at no point did they take ownership of errors that caused significant stress and delays.
They eventually agreed to absorb part of the additional costs, but only after weeks of dispute and at the cost of our relocation timeline.
Our experience was chaotic, mismanaged, and far from the professional service advertised. We would never recommend Transpack to anyone seeking a reliable moving company.

Initially, the service was very helpful, but on two occasions my shipment was unnecessarily delayed because staff were on holiday and there was no communication between the office and the warehouse. This is completely unacceptable. When my items were finally delivered, not all of my belongings arrived. When I inquired about this, the company shut down communication entirely — refusing to help, ignoring emails, and responding with rudeness.
I have been extremely disappointed with the service, and it is even more disheartening that there seems to be no concern or accountability for the fact that my belongings have been lost.

The goods were transported from Australia to Germany sooner than the plan and in complete working condition without a scratch.

Wij waren op zoek naar een partij om onze spullen van Nederland naar Australië te vervoeren. Na verschillende bedrijven te hebben gebeld en onderzoek te hebben gedaan, viel Transpack vooral op. Na een heel fijn en oprecht betrokken gesprek met Michael, hebben wij besloten in zee te gaan met Transpack. Tijdens het proces heeft Judy ons van elke stap op de hoogte gehouden. Van het ophalen van de spullen, het definitief uitvaren van het schip met onze spullen, tot aan het uiteindelijke ontvangen van onze spullen. Alles was heel goed geregeld en, het allerbelangrijkste, onze spullen zijn heelhuids in Australië aangekomen. Als je echt goed geholpen wilt worden, bevelen wij Transpack ten zeerste aan. Echt top! Wat waren wij blij met de hulp van Transpack. Onze verhuizing naar Australië hebben hun heel goed verzorgd. Bij vragen gaven ze heel snel antwoord en hielden ons tijdens het hele proces heel goed op de hoogte. Als je een bedrijf nodig hebt voor het verhuizen van je spullen over de grens is Transpack de partij om je te helpen!
Uitstekende service. Nadat we onze verhuisdozen hadden volgepakt en andere zaken zoals ski's, gitaar en kookspullen had ingepakt werd alles vanuit ons appartement op 3 hoog door verhuizers vriendelijk en keurig naar beneden getild en ingeladen. Een aantal weken later kregen we bericht wanneer de spullen in de VS bij ons huis zouden aankomen. Alles werd keurig uitgeladen en in de garage gezet. Door zowel de coördinator die alles heeft geregeld, als de verhuizers in NL en VS zijn we uitstekend te woord gestaan en begeleid. Prima prijs voor zo'n service. Kan het iedereen aanbevelen.
Transpack heeft voor ons ongeveer 7m3 aan spullen verscheept voor onze emigratie. Onze spullen zijn netjes ingepakt en verscheept naar Nieuw Zeeland. Alles is heel aangekomen. De partners waarmee gewerkt werd hebben allemaal goed contact onderhouden en we wisten elke keer precies waar onze spullen waren. Ook belangrijk: de prijs om de spullen te verschepen was netjes. De kosten voor verschepen en verzekeren was duidelijk en de documenten ook. Judy van Transpack heeft regelmatig contact met ons onderhouden tijdens het hele proces. Een emigratie is stressvol en soms liep het niet zoals verwacht. Gelukkig was men bij Transpack flexibel en behulpzaam. Heel fijn.

We have waited a year for goods to be shipped from the UK to Malta. UK company were extremely poor and we became despondent, then we went to Transpak.....what an amazing company, excellent customer service, quick responses and they got the job done in 2 weeks. I cannot rate this company highly enough. If you are not sure who to use - Transpak is a company you can rely on. Thank you all so much for your excellent work and communication.
Afgelopen juli heb ik mijn spullen afgegeven om te laten verschepen naar Thailand. Ik zal mijn problemen in een chronologisch lijstje zetten om enig overzicht te bewaren:
- Er was geen mogelijkheid om de spullen op te laten halen in een weekend of avond. Gelukkig kon een vriendin bij de dozen zijn om deze af te geven. Helaas heeft zij hier een hele dag op moeten wachten. De verhuizers waren ruim een uur na de uiterste tijd pas aangekomen. De truck was al afgeladen en mijn spulletjes konden er nog net tussen geduwd worden.
- Toen ik eind juli nog steeds niet beloofde documentatie had ontvangen, nam ik weer contact op. 23 augustus zou het op de boot gaan. 25 augustus weer gemaild… het zou 6 september op de boot gaan. Op 19 september weer gemaild. Ik heb nooit antwoord gekregen.
- Uiteindelijk heb ik zelf Transpack moeten bellen (vrij prijzig vanuit Thailand. Na lang wachten kreeg ik laat in de avond toch nog iemand aan de telefoon die mij vriendelijk vertelde dat ze al mijn spulletjes waren kwijtgeraakt. Het was aangekomen, zeiden ze, maar niemand wist waar.
- Vanaf hier was het smeken om updates. E-mails werden niet of nauwelijks beantwoord en ik werd niet gebeld. Als ik zelf belde, werd mij verteld dat ze nog steeds aan het zoeken zijn, maar er kon mij weinig verteld worden over het proces. Er kwam nooit een update vanuit hun zonder een vraag van mij.
- Uiteindelijk heb ik begin oktober aangegeven dat ik veel onnodig geld aan het uitgeven ben, omdat ik gebruikt spullen die zijn kwijtgeraakt, moet vervangen. Ze zouden erachteraan gaan.
- Ik begon meerdere e-mails te ontvangen van een Tsjechisch bedrijf over achterstallige kosten. Ik heb mijn rekening netjes betaald in juli. Transpack hierover gemaild en het zou niet meer gebeuren. Ik kreeg daarna nog drie keer dezelfde e-mail.
- Uiteindelijk werd mijn zending op 6 oktober gevonden en zou het eind oktober op de boot gaan. De compensatie? Uh, ja, daar gaan we achteraan, even overleggen.
- Radiostilte en onzekerheid. Ik moest zelf vragen voor de track and trace die volgens hen automatisch zou worden verstuurd.
- Op 15 november werd mij eindelijk verteld dat ik maar liefst minder dan de helft van mijn verhuiskosten terug zou krijgen. Het zou een spoed terugbetalen zijn en binnen een paar dagen op mijn rekening staan.
- Het is 27 november. Ik heb geen geld ontvangen en niets meer gehoord. De verhuizing lijkt goed aangepakt te worden in Thailand en mijn spulletjes komen hopelijk in de eerste week van december aan.
Al met al een pijnlijk proces. Niets gaan vanzelf en beloftes worden links en rechts verbroken. Fouten zijn menselijk en ik heb eindeloos veel respect, begrip en geduld. Maar keer op keer geen updates geven en iemand maandenlang in het donker laten over de status van hun hele hebben en houwen is onacceptabel. Maar wie weet krijg ik misschien ooit nog die 350 euro terug!
