Getting worse and worse
Yes some Amazon deliveries are fine, but they are the exception. Most deliveries follow a pattern of initial delivery slot advice being pure fantasy, and of course the slot slips back multiple times, and increasingly happens late at night.
The most recent instance had the tracker showing driver in my area, then I was next drop, then the driver had "several more deliveries" (eh?) then MINUTES before the end of the delayed slot, I receive a message telling me delivery failed because the driver could not access my front door.
1 - there was no obstacle preventing access to my front door
2 - neighbours etc were coming and going from the road during the evening, with no issue
3 - nobody tried to contact me
Then to further demonstrate Amazon CS skills, I receive an email telling me to check my address and contact details, which are all correct, somewhat implying the fault was mine.
Just when you think they can't get worse, they do.
Unprofessional.

What got delivered to me today wasn't just second hand, it was third hand. Inside the box when I opened it were TWO Amazon return slips.
I don't want the product that has already been sent out and returned by two customers previously.
Amazon are now telling me that I need to allow 10 HOURS of my day on a specific date for a courier to collect the parcel so I can get a refund.
So let's just be clear here, Amazon are ENTIRELY 100% at fault, and yet they now expect me to wait in for a 10 hour collection window so I can get a refund.
And I've been offered £10 as compensation for my time.
Dump and run delivery service
Amazon have switched to paper packaging - fine, greener credentials. But, and it is a big BUT. This is the UK - it rains a lot. Amazon do NOT offer a safe place of an enclosed porch. Almost every other courier service does, even those rated as poor. So no sheltered safe place as an option for the delivery means that the parcel is left outside the property if a house. Then it rains. If the item within the paper package is also wrapped in paper - guess what happens next? OK Amazon want to speed up delivery services to generate more income and hence profit - commercial bean counting. But as to any form of social awareness of weather and customer loyalty - forget it. No wonder Amazon is plummeting down the ranking order - profit before people.
Cannot cancel Amazon Prime
I selected Prime "End membership" repeatedly, the status page kept gives a renewal date, finally I deleted my payment method only to get an email warning that I would loose Prime benefits. Dear Amazon: I DO NOT WANT PRIME MEMBERSHIP.

A once great company that has deteriorated. Talking with their Customer Service section is tortuous. I simply don't trust them anymore. Buy elsewhere.

My wife had to save up for months just to get a massage table,
So we decided to get it from amazon,
I took the day of to receive this delivery but I got a mssg saying delivery attempt was made but was unsuccessful,
Got into a heated up argument with the mrs cos no attempt was made and I was home through out,
And out of frustration she decided she's going to take the day off and rebook the delivery few days later and yet the same bs,
Delivery attempt fail and once again asked us to come collect it,
Today I spent 9£ for both bus and uber to collect the bench from royal mail got late for my daughter's nursery upset wife just because amazon doesn't value our time nor value us as a customer,
Bcos several attempt was made to get the bench here on time and calling them was a waste of time cos you can't get through or get anyone to give you answer,
I don't care about royal mails lying about the delivery bcos my product was ordered from amazon and I paid for delivery and product so why am I still paying out of pocket for something I already paid for,
Poor unreliable delivery
First delivery did not arrive and was reported damaged. Refund in 5 days. Reordered not delivered on promised day and out for delivery next day. Delivery time not met and was advanced later and later. Phoned customer services. The parcel was dumped on doorstep and driver tore off at a rate of knots before door opened. Delivery is becoming shoddy with drivers poor English to locate addresses.
Usual Amazon Delivery and Customer Service Lies
Unfortunately, I have to give a star. Yet again Amazon drivers say a package is delivered or even handed to resident, and it isn't. Waste of time with customer services who make up excuses and say you have to wait days for a refund. This company is getting worse, and even more obstructive. Long waits to get through to customer service just to be pushed from pillar to post. I avoid Amazon unless I have no choice to use them.
Unsafe delivery
I left instructions for any delivery to my address to go to a neighbour if I was not at home. So when I got home this evening instead of following instructions I found it under a bush next to my driveway I have tried contacting Amazon to express my concerns about this unprofessional delivery but all my emails were returned stating responses not accepted I finally after a lot of messing around got an A. I response hardly very helpful which directed me to a help centre which had a nominal subscription fee of £1 which my bank declined when the figure came up £29. I would like to know if Amazon often make it awkward as possible when a customer is not happy

Absolutely SHOCKING.
Ordered my item from an external website. A full face mtb helmet. Ordered Wednesday. Says it’ll take 3 days. It’s now Saturday. Since 7 am this morning it’s said arriving today (it’s now 6pm) and nothing has changed. Doesn’t even say it’s out for delivery says it’s on its way (the out for delivery box isn’t ticked yet). I have no clue what’s happening, if it’s being delayed or if the website just hasn’t updated since this morning. Absolutely shocking customer service to. Would not recommend if you have the choice!

HAHA. You won’t believe it. I stayed up till 1am for updates that night got nothing. All it said was arriving on Saturday 23rd when it was the 24th. I then woke up to a email saying my package was lost at the depot. WHAT?!?! Then they said they found it and it will now be delivered today. I mean this is just shocking. Thank god I’ve got the package or hope to have it but wow Amazon this is the first and hopefully last time I’ll have to go through this!!!

Amazon - hopeless!
I have been trying to log in to my Amazon UK account. No Luck! I am asked for a PIN to identify me - I have given them a PIN I was given and still no entry. I am emailed by Amazon that "someone" is trying to get into my account ............. Yes Me!!
Also they advised going into your settings and changing whatever - however, when you're locked out - it's just a wee bit tricky!!
14th August: I would like to say that I have been able to get back into my account. I was sent a number (seemed a bit random as dont think I had requested it). However, it got me back in. I have since bought something - but not on Amazon! There are plenty of other options thank goodness.

Bought two pairs of binoculars for under £100 (15X & 25X) comes with bak4 prisms
Very light and easy to hold .Ok there is a bit of shake but not much the 15 no colouration

I have set my greenhouse as my safe place incase I'm not in. The driver said he delivered in or near a greenhouse but the picture taken shows my front door. Is he stupid or lazy. You tell me. THEN i call customer service who apologised and said she'd put me through to delivery team to deal with it then hung up. I have it all recorded. Absolutely useless service. Don't give a monkeys about their customers
