Cancelled my Ps5 preorder for no reason.
After asking for me to re submit my details ,which I did.
There is a pending transaction on my account for the price of the console so I must have entered correct details.

Received email saying order canceled
Because I never responded to previous email ,which is incorrect.

Terrible behaviour from smyth's .will completely avoid in future over this .plus I better get money credited back to my account .

They sent me a message saying my payment couldn’t be processed for my ps5 pre order so I’d have to fill in my details once again in the next 24 hours. I did as I was instructed even being 100% sure I did right since the first time, and I received a new message on the day after saying my pre order was cancelled as I didn’t take any action and the best part is that there is a pending transaction from them in my bank account. They don’t have a number to be contacted so I sent them a message on Facebook and they asked for 72 hours to reply back. What a disgusting service, so disrespectful to their customers.

Excellent service all the time. Really lovely friendly staff. Had home delivery of coco melon figures one broke, contacted services through email immediate response was told to just return to local store. Exchanged toy no problem, wish all stores were so efficient 👏👏

Ordered stair gates on a Tuesday afternoon, and they arrived on Wednesday, which was much quicker than expected. Very easy and straightforward process.

They point out there corona restriction and yet they send out toys that have clearly been used and still have Christmas wrappers around them, they didn't even try to hide it. I was the one to tell my son that he won't be able to get the toy he asked for, I was the one who has seen the tears in his eyes, the kids have suffered enough, I will never buy anything from them again as the customer service is a joke, they offered me a 5€ discount this can't be real. Never ever again.

Would definitely recommend for buying toys. Have had no issues either with delivery or click and collect. Good updates on the orders and delivered quickly.

I can't rate Smyths high enough. I've had multiple orders over the past year with zero issues. All items delivered in a timely manner without error.

I was instore twice since November dealing with customer service for a return and another time for a bike purchase. Found the staff very friendly and helpful.

I pre-ordered and paid for a Christmas present for my nephew in October 2020. I received regular emails updating me from Smyths on the arrival of my item.

On the day it was due to be dispatched, 23rd of December, they cancelled my order and said they would give a refund for no given reason.

I emailed them and they replied they could not retrieve a cancelled order but would try and assist me to get another item.

I received an email today to advise me to keep checking the website.

This item is sold out everywhere and I will have a very disappointed child.

Do not recommend this store.

Good value, free delivery. This toys are lovely. The ordering process was easy. No complaints.

I order quite abit from smyths and I'm very rarely disappointed, delivery is great ( expected longer delivery waits around christmas!!)
I just wish half the stuff wasnt sold out half the time.

Appalling company-avoid!

Smyths first all sent a parcel i ordered minus an expensive baby monitor. They resent it and the courier left it in a neighbours garage,who was away, by time I got the monitor, a birthday gift, was over 3 weeks late and the parents had bought one!
This is unopened and Smyths refuse to accept it back to give a refund, they don’t accept baby equipment back! It was their fault I wasn't able to gift it! It’s all sealed , exactly how they sent it, absolutely ridiculous!
I’ll be contacting my bank for a chargeback!
Avoid this store, they do not care about keeping loyal customers happy!

Good service recently when I ordered all my daughter's Christmas presents. Very quick delivery. Removed some stress for the next few weeks.

Went onto website was there all day and tried several times to complete purchase of a PS5 and all I kept getting was an error message as I tried to complete purchase. By the time it cleared all stock had gone. Phone line for help didn’t work either. How come some get through and others don’t is there some kind of preferencing going on!

Click and collect. This services has had to adapt very fast and I have to say the Carrickmines branch are very organised and prompt with orders A+

what a joke, all shops are closed no way to buy kids presents, but guess what smyths will only deliver what they want not everything they have instock or online, when i shop online i would presume everythig is for sale, and if its for sale surely it should be for home delivery but no its not, and if we dont get out of this damn lockdown im going to tell my kids santy is not real a bit extreme i know but im going spare thank god for amazon and ebay i miss toys r us

Click and collect service is brilliant. Placed an order online and it was ready for collect same day.

I would never ever go and buy anything from Smyths toys shop which I think is rubbish shop with role and staff.
I bought Graco Highchair for my parents house. My little boy cant even sit up straight in it. He is pretty much lying down eating him food. I have had to stuff blankets down behind her in order to sit him up and this still does not resolve the issue. Before I used it when I saw my boy is like that can't sit properly as my boy is tiny so I took the highchair to Staple corner brunch to do it exchange with another one not get the money back but all the staffs and manager they were too rude. They haven't done exchange for me so I have been somewhere else just paid £15 for a nice and comfortable highchair than their useless one which I paid £30. My boh is so comfortable on his second highchair than rubbish Graco highchair.
So I don't recommend to anyone. Go and buy asda bebe style which is £15 and I know you won't be regret of buying this highchair. Don't spend too much money on those remarkable highchair which is just their name and they don't do their as we accept.
