Seems very odd insuring a non Toyota or Lexus branded vehicle with Toyota Insurance but the price was very competitive I must say. Hopefully I won't need their services.

Easy quote, but price changes if you refresh
Easy quote, easy payment - but the price of the quote did increase by £50 when I refreshed the page, which I was disappointed by - hence why I did not give 5 stars.

Today, I needed some help to buy my car insurance and to understand what I am purchasing.
I am grateful of the help I have received today. The person on the other side of the phone, was patient and understanding. They answered all my queries, took their time to help me understand any policy jargons, policy terms and agreements. They explained simply what I did not understand. This reassured me that I am buying an insurance which is suitable for me. Not everyone wants to use the internet to purchase an insurance, some people likee what's to talk to person. And that's what I did and I received an excellent customer service.

Difficulty paying for insurance online
I had great difficulty, actually taking out the insurance, my credit card was declined on a couple of occasions and I ended up having to speak to a customer services person on the phone.
I found the person difficult to understand as she was speaking too fast and running her words together. I had to keep asking her to repeat and I was not comfortable with this.

Please be aware of this company
Please be aware of this company. Don’t get fool by name Toyota. They are thieves. Stealing people money. I don’t get any documents for one day after paying full payment. Then I call they don’t include what I want in that policy. I request to cancel my policy. They charged me cancellation fee. Even I don’t get any documents or any confirmation of payment or policy. Be aware guys .

Following the successful purchase of a policy our welcome email is issued to the email address provided at inception, which provides details on how to access Your Portal and policy documentation.
Our policy documents are made available prior to purchasing a policy which we encourage all customers to review these carefully to ensure the policy meets their needs before agreeing to them.
This also includes our cancellation terms which are detailed in section 14.6 of the Private Car Policy Documents. This fee reflects the administrative costs involved in setting up and managing the policy, including providing access to the online portal, generating and issuing policy documents, registering the vehicle on the Motor Insurance Database, and closing the account upon cancellation.
We would welcome the opportunity to investigate your concerns. I have passed your details to our Complaints Team, who will contact you in due course to discuss this matter.

Could have had a better experience
When the welcome to email arrived it mentioned using the password used setting up the policy to access it. It was setup by phone and no password was mentioned.
Your call handler was intransigent.

If you have opted to receive your policy documents electronically these are made available in Your Portal.
Our welcome email includes detail on how to access the portal using the email address and password you used when you purchased your policy and if you haven't set one yet, to click the “forgotten password” link on the login screen and follow the instructions provided.
This primarily applies to policies purchased over the telephone as our agents are unable to create or set portal passwords on a customer’s behalf part of Data Protection Regulations.
