Literally don't think they have a customer service other then generic replys which get you no where still waiting on a reply from the Edinburgh event, will never book again with this company . Company should do everyone a favour and wrap up

Same as everyone else really…..Requested to re book an event as the other participants and I had to self isolate or were stuck abroad due to covid restrictions.
Over 200 quid down, one month and four emails later I’m still waiting for a reply from a human.

Don't bother
Booked as a spectator for the Midlands event at Belvoir Castle. Printed off my ticket - no mention of any restrictions on it. Did not receive the event e-mail "sent between 1 - 3 weeks before". Denied entry because did not have a Lateral Flow Test - though I did take along my NHS Vaccination Certificate, which is not apparently acceptable.
The links on the ticket e-mail returned a 404 error "Looks like you are stuck in the mud", "The page may have moved". I had contacted TM through their website over two weeks ago, only to get a generic response the day before the event stating:-
"Hi Mudder,
Thank you for your email and for your patience, as we work through high number of tickets.
Unfortunately, we were unable to get to your query before the event weekend.
If you requested a time change or ticket transfer to Midlands event (or to another person) please head to the event site and come see our team at Mudder Services (Info desk) and we will be able to assist you on the event day.
If your query was about a transfer to another event or another topic, please bear with us and we will get to you as soon as possible.

Crap company and refund policy!
Crap company and refund policy. Had to cancel almost 2 weeks before the event due to a funeral and they offered me a transfer which I don’t want as I was planning to support a friend who’s doing it before she moves away. They have refused to refund me over £170 so I’m reporting this to my bank. I’ll get my money back don’t you worry, pack of thieving CU*TS! Hope the company goes into administration.

OMG wish I had seen these reviews before I booked and paid for myself and my 4 daughters ! Over £500 paid to this company during lockdown for September 2021 booking - thinking it would give us all something to look forward to. The whole set up is a joke ! They are quick to take your money (that bit was easy), the rest - forget it. I paid extra for selected start time and parking now all I have is in excess of 90 automatically generated emails to all members of our group asking to select start time but when you are directed back to the website they ask you to pay again!! There is no PHONE number to call; my email requests for help have gone unanswered and now I just want to cancel the whole thing ! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY ***********

Do not use this company. Booked a year and a half ago but They changed the date 3 times and now the person I booked it with now has a different day and time, this isn't good as we was going to do it together. Like previous reviews said (customer service) none existent as it's only an email address to which you never get a reply! Wasted money!

Tough Mudder changed the date of my event 3 times in the past year and a half. To be fair a lot of that was due to Covid. However, on the 3rd change I was not able to attend on the new date. On the website it says you can change even within 2 weeks of your event (the Friday before the Friday before your event). I made my request 5 weeks ago and received an email saying we will get in touch within 10 days. I have since sent numerous emails all of which have been ignored. It has been 45 days since I got in touch but they have still not got back to me. my event is in two days, i wont be able to make it so I have lost £100. I will never book an event with Tough Mudder and neither should you. They don't even have telephone number.

Non existent customer service, currently me and my wife different start times even though we booked together and our friend has a different start time even though he asked to do it at the same time as us… event day is going to be interesting when we all turn up at the same time to do it… hope they have security

The customer service is non-existent! I have been trying for months to get a reply: email, their website, Facebook messenger (no phone number)- we are a team of 3 - one person has a 11:15am slot, one a 1pm and I don't have one at all!!!! the race is 5 days away!!! if anyone knows how to contact them please let me know.

I'm unable to take part in the classic event and can't find anyone to transfer my ticket to. I contacted customer services 5 1/2 weeks before the event - plenty of time to resell my ticket - but they WILL NOT REPLY TO ME. I waited the 10 working days they said it might take to reply then I messaged again. Still no reply. There is no telephone number so I'm stuck with no way of contacting them. Bet if I were enquiring to book for a group of 30 people they'd reply in a heartbeat. They must be making an absolute fortune from these events and they can't employ someone to answer a phone or afford to give refunds for legitimate reasons? Their reputation obviously means nothing to them. Be prepared to lose your money if a life event beyond your control crops up. Be warned!

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SHAMBOLIC. IN 2021 CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS TO BE TOP PRIORITY. BUGGY SYSTEM. 1 TICKET IS IN NO MANS LAND. NOT SURE IF IT HAS A START TIME OR ANYTHING, 4 EMAILS LATER, 3WEEKS ON, NO REPLY. MORE ANXIOUS WHETHER MY TICKET WILL WORK RATHER THAN FOCUSING ON THE EVENT.
Change of layout
Well, don't know what's happened to previous reviewers , but 1st mudder today and very well organised on checking in and giving rewards at the end ,enough obstacles to enjoy, but I have to say, the organisers need to look at layout as the gauntlet obstacle is well into the route its the most physical challenge in the 5k mudder, but you can't grip the rings due to mud on them , meaning you fall off before you've began, spoiling the attempt by the competitors , it should be the 1st obstacle where everyone is dry and can give a great attempt at the obstacle, please tough mudder ,take a look at the layout please, other than that, no issues for me, enjoy if you go

Unfortunately people need to be warned that this company seems more like a scam - they bombard you with social media - every day I have an promo emails - we have a group of 10 people going and a few issues such as tickets not available and being unable to sign waivers - we also wanted to change times for our little mudders -
There is NO phone number which is pretty usual these days - but also no response from the emails as confirmed by everyone else on here - I can only imagine what a shambles race day will be but hopefully our ticket issues etc will be dealt with on the day- but I have no confidence - one way or another we will be running the course unless they have police and bouncers there to stop us

DONT BOOK WITH Tough Mudder UK THEY DONT REPLY TO EMAIL IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES. Myself and multiple people having the same problem. They said you can transfer events but then will not reply to any communications and no phone number to call to contact them.

Proof of negative lateral flow test, covid vaccination, mask, cashless, all to run around a field in mud. You should be ashamed of yourselves and this will come back to haunt you.

Absolutely terrible customer service I would not recommend this company at all.we spent nearly one thousand pound to do tough mudder and was really looking forward to it but on the eve of the event my son tested positive for covid and in the instructions for tough mudder we was not allowed to take part we have all emailed them on numerous occasions and they have not sent one response,we are even willing to change the venue for a later date.This is a terrible company who should be ashamed avoid at all costs
DISGRACE OF A COMPANY!
It's been well over a year since my race was cancelled due to the first sign of Covid. Since then every one of my team have flown back to NZ or Australia and I've been trying to get a refund since but they simply won't give me one. Absolute disgrace of a company! They respond once a month to emails and don't answer the question about refunds. Their reputation is going down the toilet by the looks of it and I'll be shocked if they recover with the amount of bad press coming their way!
My whole team are waiting for refunds - I wouldn't mind if it was a cheap event but it's not!

Like everyone is saying terrible customer service! They gave my friend a refund but not me. They just ignore your emails. Event is coming up in day they changed my time and ruined it for everyone giving us all different times. Even if I could make it now I wouldn't give them my time.

I've never had such a terrible customer experience. 30 days before event they sent out updated times so I'd be running alone instead of with friends. I immediately emailed for help to change this and have only received a generic email after 2 weeks saying times will be updated a week before event. Only a few days to the event, still nothing and I won't be going due to this uncertainty. Anyone reading this, thinking of going, do so at your own risk that any issues you may have they won't resolve
