We have just returned from another enjoyable week in South Devon with friends and stayed at a Toad Hall cottage as we have done over several years past. We have always found the service from Toad Hall to be first class and can rely on the quality of the holiday homes they offer. This year the weather was not too good, but trips to the National Aquarium in Plymouth(a must for kids of all ages) , the national Trust properties of Overbeck’s gardens at Salcombe and the D’oily Carte house and gardens at Coleton Fishacre, more than compensated for the cloudy weather.

The Cutch was so peaceful and well located to enjoy the coastal paths. On arriving, we were greeted to some nice complimentary treats and the whole place was immaculate.Everything you could have possibly wanted had already been thought of and supplied.We enjoyed a very comfortable week there and would be very happy to return.

We have rented holiday lets via Toad Hall on numerous occasions and we have always found them an excellent company to deal with.

Always have a great choice and I feel confident that I am being looked after. There's always somebody to contact if needed and the apartments and cottages are well equipped and clean.

Just a wonderful two storey apartment. The views are just out of this world. Sitting at the bay window having breakfast each morning looking out towards the sea and the harbour is the perfect way to start each day. Stunning!

Beautiful property in the most amazing and peaceful place. Kept clean and well maintained, with excellent beds, bedding and linen.
Communicating with THC was easy & they did everything to ensure we had a fantastic stay.

Amazing place to stay. Everything was provided. Definitely going to return. The house, pool, lake, tree house just incredible. Cannot recommend highly enough’

Perfectly clean little cottage, superb welcome gifts of homemade scones, apple juice milk ect.
It was a little chilly the week we were there and the cottage was a bit chilly in mornings and evenings.
Found the sitting area really small and although accommodating 5 people the sofa only sat 2 comfortably and one other armchair. Access road long and in very poor condition with potholes. But it is a farm. Booking process was good. Facilities wise, everything you needed. Beer, sidmouth, lovely to visit plus otterton mill and fabulous farm store Greendale Farm .
Good location with easy access to coast.

From start to finish Toadhall have been brilliant. This morning we couldn't lock the back door of the cottage we are staying at. We phoned them '& within an hour a lovely gentleman turned up to fix it. Will use them again no contest.

Lovely apartment with spectacular views from both front windows.
The flowers, cake and teabags etc are are welcome touch.

Bridge House is in a great position both for town and also for views of the river. The house was clean and fairly well equipped although several things were broken or not working : a bedside lamp, towel radiator, frying pan, no batteries in candles provided, several of the electric blinds.
Our main negative comment was that the bed linen and towels were all very well worn and not of the quality we would expect in a property of this cost. The set in the second bedroom was dreadful and we had to swap it for that in a room that wasn’t being used.

Fantastic house and location as always. Had many visits. Toadhall are really helpful and considerate as holiday letting agents. The house is lovely and perfect for a relaxing break. Once again thank you very much.

Easy booking process.
We have stayed at 1 Lower Sandbanks for several years now. The apartment is well furnished and the location is good . The owners are very approachable and responsive when contacted. We hope to return again next year.

Toad Hall has never let us down with accommodation and even us having a repeat rental yearly it has always treated us well with its services

Easy booking process, timely communciation. Love the apartment - our second time visiting - well equipped and very comfortable. Very remote, but this adds to the appeal. Beautiful views outside.

We have booked holiday cottages with Toad Hall a few times now, and have always been pleased with the houses we have stayed in. Toad Hall staff have always been really helpful, and reply promptly to any queries. They have a good knowledge of their properties.
Having looked at a lot of holiday cottages websites, the Toad Hall one is the clearest and most comprehensive.

This was our second visit to 2 Rose Cottages and it didn’t disappoint.
It’s such a beautiful, quiet spot and the garden is a great place to sit with a book and cup of tea.

Everything we needed was there and very clean. The beds were excellent too!

great location, comfortable accomadation ,not suitable if you have trouble with stairs.everythingthere for a good stay ,but didn't include towels

Have stopped in this apartment over a number of years. Its highlight is its views of Dartmouth and harbour.
Downside is acces as parking is provided for a small/ medium car. We arrived at 4pm on the handover day where there were several large cars eg Nissan Quashki, Jaguar xj AND 3 30cwt vans. It took me ages to park my Mini noting that 2 slots were unavailable due to the size of rhe vehicles oarked next to the space. It also meant that Icould not use my car for the duration of the stay for fear of not being able to return.
Maybe Toad Hall could arrange a special deal in the nearby public car park for the big vehicles to park.
If a car reg. was mandated in the hire docs Toad could monitor the size of parked vehicles and adjudicate accordingly
