Unfortunately could not proceed with the purchase of the property so no longer needed Solar Panels. Was told I would have my deposit returned.

After several e-mails completely ignored, threatened to contact my bank and suddenly he responds agreeing to send the money back.

Several e-mails later again still no money and no correspondence. Had to contact my bank to retrieve the money.

Very disappointing customer service. Very unprofessional and incredibly unreliable. Stay well clear.

Further update, once this review was posted. All of a sudden my refund was actioned the next day and countless e-mails responding to update my review. Absolute shame customers have to resort to these means to get their own money back.

Not only have they lost £20k of sales through a potential customer, but also recommendations of friends and family along with it. Business that is now going to another company. All because they chose to ignore my e-mails. Shame.

From the very first contact with Josh who passed me over to James their openly honest approach came through, I was supplied with all the relevant information and costs for my installation via video call so your actually seeing who your dealing with, the installation was carried out on a date to suit me and in just over a week, so quick (don’t let that put you off) the installation was completed within a day by three hard working polite lads to a high standard , sadly didn’t get their names. In the office Beth and Dylan were helpful with all questions I had regarding the install and the next process each step of the way
There was an issue with the battery (beyond the fitters control) to which was resolved the next day
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend U.K. Solar Experts to anyone else, Excellent throughout, well done and keep up your high standards, they obviously pay off

From the quotation to the installation of solar back up batteries with automatic switch over in case of power cut ( batteries don’t work in power cut as need own supply as normal trickle charge disrupted with any power cut ).

Job carried out very quickly and neatly.
Some hiccups with app and ensuring working, but out of hours are also very helpful and remain so.

Initially very professional but a little bit disappointed with the first crew that turned up. They left site after putting the panels on the garage roof because of some items having not being delivered. However Guy the electrician came a few days later to finish the installation & he worked incredibly hard and made a lovely job of it, redeeming solar experts.

The installers were most efficient. Unfortunately the scaffolding didn't arrive until lunchtime so the final handover was in the dark.
Bethany and Dylan were most helpful when the dongle failed.

We had a solar system installed in September 2024, the late review is intentional as I feel the review is more meaningful having had the system running for 10 months! First of all the install was quick and professionally done on the day we had arranged and was producing by early afternoon! The service from Solar Experts has been excellent so far any queries I had had have been answered immediately. We have surpassed the estimated annual production already with 2 months to go! 20% more than predicted! An excellent company to deal with!

We recently had a solar system installed by UK Solar Experts and overall, we’re really pleased with the experience. The team was helpful and professional from the outset. Like with any big home project, there were a few minor niggles along the way—but to their credit, everything was resolved quickly and without fuss.

A special mention to Bethany and Dylan, who were both fantastic throughout. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and kept us well-informed at every stage. It really makes a difference having people who genuinely care about getting things right.

Thanks again to the team—we’re now up and running and looking forward to seeing the benefits of solar!

This company did pressure us into this system. No heavy sales pitch! They worked according to all their predictions and the team were always helpful, given that we knew little detail of the system at first.

Unbelievably fast, installed within 3 days of ordering..................Thorough, honest, as promised instalation, staff were helpful in all aspects, in particular the electrician took great care in making sure minimal impact of any works to walls etc, and was obsessively Thorough about making sure it was done to a high standard, also the solar installers went beyond to make sure the job was done to a high standard, not forgetting the sales team, and our point of contact who was clearly customer lead, very happy customer, and am looking to upgrade to a second battery soon. We are delighted with the end result and the support from the team including Bethany and Dylan. The onsite team worked incredibly hard, were a pleasure to have on site and determined that we should be happy. Why not a 5 star review? The install took far longer than planned, largely because the wrong materials were delivered initially to site and it took some days to rectify. At the end of the day UK Solar Experts "took it on the chin" and made sure that a quality job was done.

Everyone, from the people delivering the equipment to be fitted to the electrician, Guy, was so helpful, thoughtful and considerate. We felt well looked after and everything is working wonderfully. Would definitely recommend them to anyone after a car charger or house battery storage. (As this is what we had installed after already have had solar panels for years)

We were thinking of getting solar then the guys at uk solar experts gave us a call back,
They went through the quote thoroughly and explained every step of the process with us, explained how long it would take to recoup our investment and what best to do, they then knocked a considerable amount of money off if we proceeded there and then!
By the next week we had scaffolding up and then the panels! It was pretty impressive how fast they managed to get us done and dusted, however they were probably helped by the fact we looked in January.

Can’t say for certain if we got the best price but the service was top tier

I agree with previous post that it is a good idea to get quotes from other companies for comparison, before you speak to this company : we are pleased with everything but the reduced price offered if we agreed a deal quickly meant we felt we had to make a decision in a hurry . That said, we have no regrets and found all the workers friendly and courteous . Bethany in the office has been particularly helpful

From the first contact through to install, what's not too like. Neil walked us through the proposal and in my case, using the zoom call, came up with the brilliant plan not to put panels on my house but use the garage to mount 8 panels either side as the garage was south facing. Beth and Dylan were very helpful at the end of a telephone. Now for installers, great lads that did a quality install, they really were professional, hard working and helped explaining the set up, well done lads.
