I had some arcing coming from one of the outlets on my fuse box! It was intermittent and hard to find. After working with the people from Ting we were able to isolate the problem. They sent out an electrician and it was solved in minutes! I'm so glad they were able to find the problem and prevent a possible fire from happening! The people at Tingm were so friendly and knowledgeable! Thank You Ting for all your help!

Ting recognized a disruption. Notified us of fire risk. Staff professional, very helpful!!! Follow through excellent, in making appointment with local electrician. Tingfire was easy to work with
Tingfire was easy to work with. While I have seen concerns posted about potential intrusive behavior, Tingfire is there to help. Quietly monitoring for months, suddenly, a device in the electrical chain started arcing when another device was activated. all very intermittent and dangerous. They helped troubleshoot the problem and called an electrician. All for free.
Got a warning about a Fire Hazard
I noticed an email from Ting saying there was a fire hazard and to call them right way. I did and the representative who helped me walked me trough a whole series of tests. I was impressed with how much she could help me with by just being on the phone and seeing things via the Ting app. When we tested a few of the outlets and possible culprits, the Christmas lights I had left up for lighting the walkway seemed to be suspect. After unplugging them and having her monitor the situation, she told me that this was most likely to blame for the spikes in electricity and could have possibly caused a fire. So in the garbage they went! I'm glad to know they can tell me these things so I'm protected from a fire hazard!

If I had not installed Ting
If I had not installed Ting, as suggested by State Farm, I would not have known about an electrical fire hazard in my home until it was too late. Oncor came out within thirty minutes, found the problem in my wires, and repaired it. Many thanks to Ting and its fire hazard team.
Laptop docking center/charging cable…
Laptop docking center/charging cable was found to be bad. It also damaged the laptop battery. The guidance and professionalism of the Ting representatives was very impressive and helpful. Ting was provided by our State Farm insurance company.
Ting sensor is worth it.…
The Ting sensor was offered through my insurance company and I didn't think I would ever have to use it so I was quite surprised when I got a call from your specialist Rob P. said I had arcing on my system. He worked with me on the phone for a while so we could pinpoint the problem and eliminate it. Now I am very happy to have this device monitoring my electrical system and I would not be without it.

So helpful and collaborative. The team worked with me step by step to isolate my problem. I can't see through walls unfortunately, so they helped me have some peace of mind preventing problems I wouldn't have known about.
Highly recommend the Ting Sensor
We've had a great experience with the Ting sensor and the Whisker Labs Fire Safety Team. Within 4 days of installing the sensor, we were notified of a potential fire hazard. The electrician found a fire hazard between the connections on the main buss bar and 2 breakers. They were charred and covered in soot. This explained why we were experiencing dimming and flickering lights. The electrician changed out our entire electrical panel. We are very thankful for our Ting sensor and for our insurance company, Traveler's, for providing the device at no cost. Our electrical system is now operating properly and safely!

My insurance provided my Ting. So grateful they did. I was alerted by the team at Ting that I have a fire hazard. They worked with me to find out the problem and we’re quick and helping me solve it.! I had a loose outlet and it was causing arcing. The Ting group helped me get it fixed quickly. I have to admit I feel so much safer knowing I have the Ting team and unit protecting my house! A big thank you to everyone that helped me!!!
Kindness and patience when it was our fault
I work in an assisted living facility for people with disabilities. Lastnight our internet stopped working. Favorite shows are importaant to the people we support. We called immediately to report our loss of service. Paul came this morning. Our problem was that we had the cord plugged into an outlet that didn’t work!!! Totally our fault. Paul showed us the probllem and encouraged us to make sure we did not use that outlet. He was very patient. As he left we learned that he came in from Alexandria when the call went out. I don’t think I would have been that patient with us in this circumstance! Thank you Paul!
TING, stopped a fire before it burned me!
I installed my Ting device about a year ago. Last month I received a text that I had a possible electrical issue that may lead to a fire. After some indepth inspection of panel box, outlets, lighting and surge protectorsI discovered a loose neutral bonding screw that was arching and indoors I had a faulty surge protector. After tightening screw a trashing faulty surge protector my hifi frequency dropped substantially! I am back to green and safe. Ting DOES work, I am a retired electrician so it was easy for me to narrow down the issue. If you have a Ting, respond to it's warnings! I have seen what damage an electrical fire can do! I highly recommend a Ting device for any home. It monitors your whole electrical system, not only the circuit it's plugged into but all circuits in the same panel box. If your property has two separate panel boxes, then you would need two Ting devices. Insurance Company's who offer Ting only want to keep you safe. It has nothing to do with the data that's collected. The data collected only tells them when somethings wrong that could lead to a fire. It works and keeping your family safe should be priority ONE!
Ting is for scaring you into using their contractors.
This product is NOT what they advertise it to be. It monitors ONE circuit, period. It was made by Allstate insurance as a monitoring device but they stopped using it. Why? It is unreliable and gives MANY false positives. This product is a way for the company to monitor your home and then try to scare you into using THEIR contractors to come fix whatever they are saying is wrong. They use harassment and strong arm tactics to try to force you to use THEIR contractors - which is all that the sensor is for. They make money from sending out their contractors to do repairs that may or may not be necessary. They are rude and obnoxious to deal with. We canceled the subscription, but I'm sure we'll be charged for it again. This is a scam, plain and simple. Do NOT buy this product. Your money is better spent by having an electrician come out and run diagnostics on your electrical system. Don't let these people bully you.

I got a call 2 weeks ago from this company statingI had a fire hazard I was told it was one plug possibly so they set up an electrician to come out their choice well their reviews for that electrician were horrible so I canceled so some lady called me from that company and said how really good they were blah blah blah so I said okay I waited almost 5 hours for the people to show up they never did now realize I'm having almost a heart attack because I'm scared my damn house is going to burn down and it made me physically ill so I called another electrician at 1:30 he was there at 3:00 he couldn't find anything so you get on the phone with this company and they go check this check that whatever so all of a sudden now I need a new outside box and a new inside box which total would be around 11,000 I'm freaking out people I go to church and pray I call a man who used to do some work for me who work for Alabama power and it been in the business for I would say at least 30 years he referred me to a young man I called him The man had said he dealt with these people before and he would see me before he came out a friend of mine whose husband has over 40 plus years of electrician service came out thoroughly went through said there's nothing wrong with the box either inside or outside so the other gentleman came out did another thorough investigation there is nothing wrong with my boxes or my home and neither one of the two gentlemen charged me I want you to know that the first people that came out we fixed the plug where the man said that was the problem well they put in outdoor plugs which is okay but they cost $162 for two and I had four put in not knowing because I'm trusting people I sent all this information to t i n g I am still getting scare tactics I sent them all this information I've sent it I can't even remember how many times now I know it's over seven they said they would pay the labor I sent them an invoice for the first electrician that came out no money just scare tactics Don't fall for it people The last electrician that came out said that they did the other people that he had worked with had them scared to death too and nothing was wrong please beware

After many months of flawless operation, my Tingfire inexplicably would no longer connect to my WiFi. Blake in customer support worked closely with me to isolate the problem. After unsuccessful attempts were made to connect the sensor, Blake at Ting Fire expedited a replacement sensor, which I easily and successfully installed. Ting was with me to ensure to keep my house safe with their device. Thank you, Blake!

Device self-destructs after exactly a year
You have to buy a device, but that device only comes with one year of service. You can renew that service for $50, but you have to renew before the year ends. The day the year ends, the device bricks itself. There is no way to reactivate it in the app and the renewal link they send you no longer works. Instead, they send you an email to throw out your device. Can't get any less user friendly than this. No wonder this company is the successor to Weather Bug.
Worse customer service experience
I have had my sensor for a few years. Moving it from outlet to outlet when told to with no issues setting up until August. We had 3 power surges in a matter of 30 minutes. Everything in the house reconnected to the WIFI except the Ting sensor. I have made numerous attempts. Emailed their customer service numerous times to get the same email instructions back, which I’ve followed 10-15 times to no avail. I have attempted to call their customer service to get a recording that they have to call me back. They returned my call the next day while I was at work. I’m clearly calling after 5:30 p.m. PST because that’s when I can discuss this with their representative while I’m at home near the sensor. This is the worse customer service I have ever received from a company. Clearly they don’t want subscribers and definitely don’t want referrals.
