Don’t bother bother considering this lot for clothes alterations. I put a pair of trousers in for alteration. They told me it would take two weeks. It’s now into the 5th week and fourth trip to the store but my trousers are still not ready. What a shambles!!

Any chance that somebody could answer the phone! Timsons Goole!

TOO HIGH PRICES. Over the years seen them buy out every small independant shop and increase their prices. Now extorinate costs on shoe repairs and key cutting.

That said, really like their model of employment, so one more star. Service is great in one shop but iffy in another.

Took a watch in for repair 2.5 weeks ago. Was told it would be fixed in 3 days. Went back, watch not fixed and person doing repair not in. Left my phone number so they could call. I called 5 times before they picked up. Said it would be fixed in 2 days. Went in to collect. Not fixed. Left phone number again and they said they would call. Trying to call again to find out the problem. No answer and they pickup and put down the phone. Really poor service from Timpsons in Altrincham.

said before timsons over priced but today paid 25 quid for 4 pretty standard door keys at tesco high woods colchester aman in shop had been quoted £9.50 to take links from watch told the guy branch in colchester charge £7.50 the reply was go there then this is not a franchise i charge as i like as i am the manager over priced rude poor customer relations i wish b&q still did keys timsons seem to have the monopoly since discovered b&q restarted key cutting these keys would have been around £10 -15

I (gender fluid man) handed a pair of my court shoes in for new heels at the Dunstable shop. The work was adequate but the attitude was homophobic and childish. When I approached the store to collect he was showing the shoes to other customers for his own entertainment. As he billed me, he smirked and tittered. Unacceptable.

i took a standard watch to the lincoln store to have 2 links taken out (which I had to ask for as he'd kept them) and a watch battery put in, shocking £25 ...i forgot to get a receipt, so my daughter went back an hour later, (he remembered her and the watch) he told her its in the bin...i emailed customer services to say I feel I was over charged, I later found out they put in lifetime batteries that cost £20 ...he never mentioned this and also I can't prove it if the battery does run out as he wouldn't write out a receipt..... still no response from customer services 🙄

So I go into Timpson's and have a very simple request. I would like a car key cut. I have the original to copy from so am happy to pay for the service, not hard right? They just refused saying they will only cut key blades which they have sold. I was then told to go to an independent service... all 3 of my "local" shops are you guessed it Timpson's. Basically I am being forced buy and pay a premium for a very simple service because I have nowhere else to turn! Just another example of bully businesses taking full advantage of people that are left with no options.......oh sorry "happy customers"

I went into the Chelmsford branch on the high street and the people working in there are amazing, they work hard on delivering high standards not just for the work they produce but on their customers as well.

Total waste of time . After trying to get a watch engraved at one store and being told they could do it but the machine is damaged but try another store . Joke . After trying 6 stores in and around my area I was told every excuse under the sun a reason why they couldn’t do it . I take it the staff have not bean trained or they can’t be bothered . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK . Ye right .

Fantastic service as always. Quick, reliable, same day service for a lock change. The whole time giving me information on what they are doing plus tips and useful bits of information. COVID safe and a lovely gentleman who attended my home.

Replacement watch glass carried out perfectly. Took a while but not Timsons’ fault. Great people and good service.

Had great service at Timsons,Asda,Grangemouth. Chris,the manager was extremely helpful and courteous. Did an excellent job on my watch and shoe repairs.Would definately recommend.

Service at Timsons Morrisons at Weston super Mare excellent - greeted by name (even though have not been there for ages) - friendly service, efficient and helpful. Always the same - reliable and the best dry cleaning service around

My boots were soled and heeled atTimson inside the Tesco store on Newmarket Road Cambridge last March. After wearing them for a week the heels started coming off and the soles became unglued. I stopped wearing them and went back to Timsons after a couple of months (I dont live nearby) and explained what had happened. The guy shrugged his shoulders and said I should have brought them back within the first month and there was nothing he could do. They are, without doubt my most favourite ankle boots I have ever had, the comfort is incredible, so I tried to wear them again recently but was embarrassed into bringing them to a Timson locally when the soles almost came off and the heels were hanging by a single nail. This time I took them to the Lion Yard branch, next to Snappy Snaps although I had been determined not to use Timson ever again. There are no other shoe repairers in Cambridge that I could find. I have collected them today, looking like new! And, what completely bowled me over was the repair had been done for free! Both the man who took them in last Wednesday and the man who served me today could not have been more helpful, more polite, and apologetic about my previous encounter at Newmarket Road. They have restored my faith in the company and I shall use this branch only, forever more. Thank you guys. You made my day. I love my boots and almost threw them away because I thought they were irreparable! Sorry for the long message!
