We moved to the area a few months ago…
We moved to the area a few months ago and Liam Blackburn is our Tidal window cleaner. He is friendly, efficient and keeps us informed. Frames and doors get cleaned at the same time as the windows which is a great help.

Waited 6 months or so for an initial…
Waited 6 months or so for an initial gutter cleaning, then when I did finally hear anything, the job was repeatedly rescheduled with no apologies and excuses. Service now cancelled after they again didn't turn up as promised yesterday.

This company, is rude, lazy and unprofessional. I had my windows cleaned a couple of times. I put it on hold. Meanwhile they came back to me. I asked if instead of monthly I was able to clean them every eight weeks. Price from £23 went up to £33. I questioned that. They said because the windows are left longer it will collect more dirt. I responded in the ten years if having my windows cleaned, I have never heard such a thing. Which to me indicates this company is lazy and incapable of business, not to mention this is a household not a construction site which means the only thing windows will catch is a bit of dust. They then responded, I will copy pates. “ Good afternoon Sarah,
Thank you for the message. Our pricing structure is universal across the UK and in keeping with the market value for all WFP cleans. As such we cannot change that.
Feeling the way you have portrayed in your message, I may suggest that you seek an alternative cleaning company as on this occasion we cannot meet your request. We have cancelled the service request for you and thank you for your interest in Tidal.

This is not the way to do business at all, unfortunate as I have always done my windows every month, but I asked a question for my neighbour.

You asked us about changing from a 4-weekly to an 8-weekly service, and we provided the revised quotation along with an explanation of our pricing structure. Our pricing is based on cleaning frequency, as longer gaps between cleans generally require additional time and work to restore and maintain the finish. This is a standard structure we apply consistently across all customers.
At no point were you under any obligation to proceed with the revised quote, and when it became clear we could not meet your expectations on pricing, we politely suggested seeking an alternative provider better suited to your requirements.

Been using Tidal window cleaning for a year now I've downloaded the app I've put my bank card on it when the job is due they notify me of the date and take the fee from my bank when the job is done very reliable and professional company u can pick how often u want ur windows doing and wots more u don't have to be home just leave ur back gate unlocked

Dirty windows
Window cleaner turnt up, was shirtless the whole time which I think is very unprofessional. Left streaks all over the windows, he couldn't reach my back upstairs windows due to my kitchen extension and decking not going out far enough for him to stand on. My kitchen window was left streaky, I had to clean it myself today. I've requested to cancel but been told I need 4 cleans before I can cancel. Absolute joke of a company

We’re sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience. The presentation of our operatives is something we take seriously, and your comments regarding professionalism will be reviewed internally.
In terms of the access issue, some rear upstairs windows can unfortunately be inaccessible where extensions, decking, or restricted footing prevent safe ladder or pole positioning. Our teams are instructed to prioritise safety at all times.
Regarding the streaking, we would always encourage customers to contact us directly after the clean so we have the opportunity to resolve any issues raised.
As outlined within our service terms at sign-up, our regular cleaning plans are based on a minimum service commitment, which is why immediate cancellation was not available.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry we could not meet your expectations on this occasion.

It’s a shame but I have to write this reviews as I feel Tidal has been extremely misleading with their words to try and gain customer and I’m now so disappointed and annoyed. My parents use tidal and have been so happy with their window cleaning service, & they knew I was looking for one so spoke to mark who cleans their windows and he took my details from my parents and set me up for a monthly service which would have been fab UNTIL I asked on WhatsApp this morning about the refer a friend and get £10 EACH I was told ‘ We only give £10 OFF on the person who refers a new customer’ well that is most definitely not what I understood the phrase ‘£10 each’ as - I also cancelled the service this morning because of this as I feel if they can’t be trusted with info they are advertising then I’d rather not trust them around my property I had a WhatsApp confirming cancellation and I’d messaged the window cleaner himself on the app but conveniently he hasn’t received it so then received a messaged from the same woman requesting the money - personally I think the whole situation has been dealt with diabolical which is a massive shame as the app is amazing the reminder of the window service date is amazing the app itself is brill - there’s so many great parts but they’ve let themselves down here big time !! Personally I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this place and I’ve also put this on social media to to warn people
In response to Tidals reply - I was recommended by someone who used tidal services and has done for years so that makes no sense at all !!

To clarify, our referral offer provides the £10 credit to the existing customer who refers a new customer to us. We do appreciate that the wording online may not have been as clear as it could have been, and we apologise for any misunderstanding this caused. We will review this wording to help avoid confusion going forward.
Regarding the cancellation and payment request, your clean had already been scheduled with the operative, which is why communication crossed over between the office and cleaner. This certainly wasn’t intended to mislead or inconvenience you.
