I would tell your children that they have to be incredibly careful with this company. My son has just had his policy cancelled after mistakenly doing 47 (he thought he was in a 50) in a 30. Its a road that has multiple speed limits numerous times over its course... varying from 20, 30, 20, 50, 60, 20 and sometimes in very short lengths. There's no don't do it again with this company.... its a straight we have cancelled your policy... I just find that so harsh, my son was 2 points off being a good driver in his 1st week and he was looking at it being a challenge to get good...he was devastated to receive such an email. He wasn't even aware he had broken the speed limit he thought he was under it. Their cancellation rates must be astronomical !

I was trying to organise a new black box for my vehicle. Tasha replied to my concern very quickly and sorted it within a couple of minutes.

I’m a new driver with a black box, I’ve been using ticker for 2 years now. The black box is fine, it wont really penalise you in terms of your driving score for harsh braking/quick acceleration/ minor speeding etc, so all round a good provider if your going for a black box as a new driver. My premium for the second year was almost half the price of my year 1 premium, so stick with them for a pretty good 2nd year offer. No issues regarding claims as of yet (touch wood), so unsure of their reliability for that side of things. Overall if your a new driver that will have a black box, ticker may be the best option for you if your sticking with for a few years (kind black box that will consider you a safe driver despite not being a perfect driver all the time)

Ticker has been an amazing insurance to have as a young driver, the customer service is brilliant and they are always happy to help no matter what! i made a change to my policy today through the Chat, i spoke with Liz who was nothing but helpful!! and Liz made it a easy hassle free process.

Liz was very helpful when I had some issues with changing details on the app, it took about 15 minutes with her to resolve the problem, she was very nice and made the experience much easier, answering any questions I had very quickly

The only issue I have is communication. You can't call or email. They have a chat bot which is the cutting edge of artificial stupidity. All I won't to do is tell them I'm on holiday.
