I like the style of boots/shoes and customer service has been fairly responsive. However, Thursday's value of cost-effective production seems to have gone too far for me as I have realized that in my Cadet and Executive the stitching of the toe cap sits well back from the end of the structurally rigid part of the toe cap. It's really in the vamp. I don't know if this is a design decision that I disagree with or poor quality control. Effectively the toe cap is guaranteed to crease in these shoes which is not desirable. Not a huge issue in a rugged and resilient Tobacco Cadet, but a significant issue in a dress shoe Brandy Executive. This is not an issue in my Captains (so not all Thursday Boots are made this way) nor other cap toe shoes and boots that I own.

Purchased the Cadet boots in January '26. They look great and you can tell the craftsmanship is top notch. I was excited to wear them, only to have the left boot rub my big toe until I could barely walk. So, I thought 'let's break them in and it will get better'. Nope. I think that it is the basic design of the boot which has a rounded/short toe. I even took them to a cobbler to have the toe stretched. To no avail. The cobbler said that I could bring them back and try again, and I will. But, I'm pretty much stuck with $200 shoes that I can't wear. Buyer beware. I really wanted these to work out.

Super fast shipping impressed me! Purchased the women's dress penny, burgundy, sized 9. These shoes are BURGUNDY (with a hint of chocolate), patent leather and super shiny). They slip on and off easy. The insole is only slightly padded. The leather is stiff, thick and the shoe is well constructed. The outter sole is substantial and should stand up to wet pavement without a problem, they probably will not stain if worn on wet pavement. The tongue is long, almost reaching my ankle. I gave them 4 stars because this shoe is chunky and masculine compared to other brands. For the price point I expected to be over the moon in love but I was not. I will keep them maybe the love will come with wear? Thursday's heart is in the right place but they need more women sitting at the design table. I recommend these if you tend to wear the same shoes every day and since I don't I should have these for the rest of my life and pass them on to my grandchildren. You can get better for less with Bass or Cole Haan. UPDATE: I wore them to the office yesterday. Today I am wearing sneakers. Right shoe was fine. The left shoe HURT where the shoe creases, top of big toe. Because the sole leather is stiff and hard, you can hear me coming a mile away. Disappointed. They looked fine with my OOTD. I want to love them but it is literally hard to do that.

The boots themselves are gorgeous, great quality and beautiful looking. I needed a half-size larger than my usual size, but the company were exceedingly quick to respond and arrange an exchange.

I had an issue with my boots, contacted the company and they promptly issued an exchange.

My experience with this shop was unfortunately very disappointing. If you offer a sizing quiz on your website, it should actually be reliable—but in my case, it didn’t work at all. The shoes I ordered in my usual size, which normally always fits, were far too small.

What made things even more frustrating was the customer service. I had to go back and forth with the support team for several days, only to be offered a $25 gift card for a future purchase—which isn’t very helpful when trust is already lost.

The return process is also a major issue. Returning the item from Germany is almost as expensive as the shoes themselves, and these costs are not covered—even though the incorrect sizing recommendation came from their own website.

Overall, it feels like more emphasis is placed on marketing tools like the sizing quiz than on the actual customer experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this shop.

After posting the previous review I would like to say that the customer service has proven to be quite the opposite.
They eventually refunded me fully and reimbursed my postage and because of the amount of time every thing took they gave me a gift card.
So on that basis if you don’t mind being patient all will be resolved.

I bought some shoes on feb 6 and still waiting they told me it was lost send it again on march 6 and today march 16 has’n got it , my order is 4774653 , no phone , same emails answers !!!!!!!!!!!

Incredible customer service. I ordered the wrong size, and got an immediate response with clear instructions on what to do. Lee kept me informed on the progress of my return from the uk and made sure to send out the right size immediately. I just got them and couldn't be happier!

I am so sad that the company have promising shoe quality but what lets them down is the service. In fact, I want my boots in time for my special wedding ceremony at the end of march 2026 and I have received no correspondence after more than 5 emails. I have provided my order number Order #4708253
and I required a size change to be a UK size 5.5 as I had been sent a US equivalent. How wonderful it would have been to have these in time for my special day!

The shipping was super fast to germany only 5 days. Snd that you pay with taxes and duty included is a great option so you have no bad surprise when you get your product by the delivery Service snd havectp pay any extra fee what you dont expected.

Probably good if you are in the US, but returns process from the UK is really challenging so hard to recommend in the current climate, given how wide-spread sizing issues are.

Tried returning the item twice due to them running small, spent half the cost of the shoes on returns only to get them back from US customs both times.

Really?. These shoes are super uncomfortable... and i spent $160

Awful customer service. They don't answer emails or the online portal does not work, and they have no phone number. If you are sent a defective product or boots that don't fit (their sizing is different than what you'd expect) you are stuck with it. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

The size of boots didn't fit even though I ordered the exact size. Then to get an exchange I had to pay more money, even though the price hasn't changed. Customer service wasn't helpful. The price of the boots already on the higher end - on top of that the company made me pay further to get things sorted. I will never buy again from them.

This company is trying to scam me out of $250 i paid for a pair of boots that were returned. I left the country before it was delivered and so the return label was processed before it arrived. When it was returned to their facilities they email me saying they cant refund the amount because the box is empty. Never buying from this company. I don't know why I trusted them in the first place. Their little marketing schemes from rose anvil convinced me of their quality but as for their trustworthiness... They could actually be a good product but horrible customer experience

Awesome boots and the best customer support!! I had some issues with sizing, the team was very responsive and prompt in their responses and advice. I was given a replacement soon enough and can’t be more happy.

Terrible customer service. Refund still not received after weeks of waiting. Do not go near this company.

Very impressed with the product and the customer service. I had an issue and it was addressed promptly. Communication is great and so is the customer service both before and after the sale.
