Great customer service and they really helped me with my pair of boots!

I placed an order on Jan 11th and it said my item shipped and would arrive on Jan 15th. That date comes and goes. Finally on Jan 27th, after encountering numerous customer service agents via their chat option that said they would follow up in 48 hours after contacting the shipper (which they never followed up with me) I contacted them to get an update. I asked to be refunded for my purchase and I was told that they would only send a replacement or give me merchandise credit. I was not willing to accept this as an option and they gave me a "one time only" refund for the order that never made it to the shipper (per Ontracs customer service whom I followed up with). The whole experience felt very shady and I will not be purchasing from them again.

I want to be clear that I was never presented with an option to refund, I pushed for that option, it was either store credit or a replacement per Thursday boots customer care. I was granted “a special one time refund” were the words used by their customer care. The response below indicates that Thursday boots company did their due diligence. Their due diligence was only in response to my queries regarding my order. I understand that there is a waiting period between when an item ships and when it can be considered lost but if I recall correctly it was nearly two weeks and the item tracking information had never been received by the shipper OnTrac (whom I followed up with myself).

​I originally had a difficult experience regarding a return and communication. However, after posting my concerns, the manager reached out to me personally to make things right. They were professional, followed up quickly, and ensured the refund and shipping issues were fully resolved. It’s clear they value their customers and are willing to go the extra mile to fix a mistake. I’m much more confident in the brand now and appreciate the hands-on support.

I bought a pair of General Purpose chelsea boots in the Safari Waxed Roughout color. The boots are incredibly comfortable and well made, and are probably the best boots I've ever owned! I like them much more than my blundstones (they feel better for my narrow feet). There was a slight defect with the elastic, which I'm not sure will impact the longevity of the boots, but I contacted customer support and they sent another pair without me needing to send my current pair back. Thanks to Rich with customer service who was very timely with his responses and very helpful. Would highly recommend buying from Thursday again (though I may not have to - I feel like these boots will last for years)

great customer service, thanks to Kristie. My suggestion to the Thursday Boot Co Team: provide a foot-sizing chart rather than suggesting going down a half size.

I really like the boots – black Major boots in my case. I'm no expert, but they seem to exude high quality, they’re pretty comfortable, and I love the noticeable smell of the leather.

Customer service was very pleasant as they worked with me through a confusing and frustrating experience that eventually ended with a satisfactory resolution. For me it involved an unfortunate convergence between their generous return policy and their gift card policy.

Without recounting the whole story, here’s what future customers need to know: if you make a purchase using a gift card and the shoes don’t fit right, it’s a great option to be able to order another size and compare them, then send one back for refund. But if you do, make sure to ask about what will happen to your gift card credit if you send back the pair that was bought with the gift card. You might be better off sending back that pair, waiting on the refund, then re-ordering the right size with the reloaded gift card.

I've been a long time shopper of Thursday boots. I've collected about 5-6 pairs of boots over the years and they still hold up pretty well.

There's a certain pair of boots that I love so much (Dynasty) that I wear it almost every time I go out. Then one day I was sad to discover some tears started to form in the mid-soles. I contacted the team at Thursday Boots to explore some options about replacing my boots, even though it was well beyond the original return window, I wanted to shoot my shot and see where I could go.

Laura was able to help me out with replacing my boots. I initially thought it was a long shot, but then to my surprise she was able to assist the replacement at no extra charge! I was very excited (and grateful) to get them replaced pro bono. I will never forget this and will definitely continue to shop at Thursday boots for years to come!

Brought some boots and sneakers from them after seeing all the good reviews online. The sneakers and boots both felt uncomfertable but I wanted to give them both a chance. The boots strap broke after I stumbled on something and the white sneakers leach orange stuff all over my socks whenever its hot. I wrote a review but mysteriously it disappeared from the website. They've already stolen my money, dont let them steal yours.

I recently purchased leather jacket from Thursday Boot Co. The leather jacket is quite good but had some issues which might happen while delivering. I then contacted customer service and the lady Hannah was so kind and helpful to resolve my issue as it is not easy to return from UK to US. Overall I am happy with the product and service, recommend

As a UK customer, just do a little homework, as US are sizes are different to Blighty. I have purchased 2 pairs of captains, one from their Amazon store and another direct from the US. The quality of the boots is outstanding and the fit is spot on. I'm normally a size 10.5 UK, and after doing a bit of research, plumped for size 11 wide US, and they are absolutely spot on, comfortable out of the box, and getting even more comfy as they are breaking in. I never thought I could form an emotional attachment to footwear, but I do with these! I now have total confidence in ordering more items direct from Thursday USA, lower priced than on Amazon too. £190 for these boots is a steal, the quality is as good as boots more than twice this price in the UK. I really can't recommend them high enough.
UPDATE, now have added Frontier boots, and just ordered a pair of Diplomat boots, and a pair of Hand Sewn Runners, I just love the quality of everything I've ordered so far!

I received a pair of boots 2 years ago as a gift and I loved them. Went on to order sneakers and formal Aviators this year. The quality is outstanding and I highly recommend it.

Dee also helped me with my delivery query email to make sure I got them.

Next up would be a jacket I think.

Good quality products. Had a defective zipper talked to costumer via email and they replaced the boots. I was not expecting that. Will definitely buy more shoes and jackets from these guys!

UPDATE… they reached out to me and tried their very best to have a satisfied customer, and for that I will give them props, because that means they truly want a happy client, thank you for making it right for me I appreciate that, Im writing this review because Im really disappointed in the quality of of the boots, and even more disappointed that this website states in different ways that their boots are build to last , but yet they dont guarantee the boots longer than 14 days?? Is been exactly a year I purchased this boots for my husband with lots of effort I was able to save and buy him the boots he has always wanted. And they lasted exactly a year, note that he only wears them occasionally, which means maybe 6 times and they are falling apart!! I wish I could get my money back, for this defective boots. If the company is willing to refund I will come back and update my review to a higher star and let people know that the company is legit with their customers

While the style, fit and overall quality when I received my Flight Jacket was very good, it changed after only 2 years of having this jacket. I only wore it a handful of times in the last two winter never under bad weather (I live in south Nevada). This is not expected aging as the customer service department is telling me, this is a clear quality issue with surface flaking. Very disappointing for one of their most expensive jacket that you are supposed to be able to keep for many years.

I would like to thank the entire team at Thursday Boots for the exceptional customer service. The response was quick, polite, and exceeded my expectations. Best personalized customer service I have experienced. Thank you.

Stinky boots at the right price point.
The leather reeks of chemicals and treatment. The inside of the shoe will color your socks black. I doubt they will last more than 1 year.

I bought a pair of black cherry fatale. I was especially pleased they came in a size 5. I’m in the states so I received them quickly- about 8-9 days. They smelled DELICIOUS and are insanely beautiful. Took a bit to break in & needed bandaids but thats to be expected with such fine leather in that style of combat boot. I wore them daily and after 2 months the soles on both feet completely split open below the toe making them completely unwearable. I contacted customer service with photos and they were amazing. Sent me a replacement pair that came within the week. These one split in the same spot, both feet, after wearing them for 2 weeks. I took them to a cobbler in town and he said it was a design flaw. The sole of those boots with that type of material is too thick and creates a weird pressure point which causes it to split. I thought about having the cobbler resole them for me but he was out of my price range. Customer service was really apologetic and refunded my money and had me keep both damaged pairs.

I’m devastated bc they literally are the most stunning beautiful boots ever. So comfortable and that cherry red is such a deep vibrant POP of color. Very mature & elegant but still very punk rock- Literally every Middle aged goths dream boot. I constantly got compliments on them.

I love them so much that I just may risk getting a different style and trying again.

As an international customer, I can’t fault the shipping — my order arrived within a couple of weeks despite travelling halfway across the world. A small issue was resolved very quickly, with friendly and professional customer service.

I purchased the Heritage Captain boots in Vintage Tobacco and couldn’t be happier. The craftsmanship and materials are outstanding for the price. After following the sizing guide and breaking them in, they now fit perfectly. I’ve worn them daily for over two months; they’re extremely comfortable, wearing in beautifully, and holding up exceptionally well. Truly as tough as old boots.

Bought some black Captain boots based on their website reviews. A gamble considering I'm in the UK and the return shipping and restocking fees are high. First impressions are the leather smell and overall look and presentation was fantastic. The comfort, however, is not so good. I ordered my normal size and the sizing is good. However, those little rivets which you hook the laces around dig in to my feet. To the point where I can't wear them for more than an hour before switching to one of my other comfier pairs of boots. When I compare these rivets/eyelets to my other boots, the Thursday Boots ones are considerably chunkier and protrude rearwards much more, which is the cause of the issue and discomfort.

I also did some digging around as there only seems to be 5 star product reviews on their site with no link to add your own. Turns out you often need to request a link to leave a review and most reviews are monitored with only best ones hand picked to be publicly visible.
