Through The Keyhole Locksmith Anmeldelser

I was looking after my elderly neighbours bungalow when I had trouble closing and locking the front door. Darren came out quickly and fixed the door at a very reasonable rate. He is a pleasant and polite man and I’ve used him several times before. I have no problem with highly recommending him.

my uPVC door wouldnt open and Darren came round bang on when he said he would, he was absolutely lovely, got the door open for me and gave me a free quote, giving me all the options on how to get it fixed, would 100% recommend their services to anyone!

Needed urgent visit due to empty rental property problems with old tenants accessing without permission. Despite a hospital visit for Darren that very day he attended and replaced the locks quickly and without any problems. Fantastic service!

Multi Point gearbox mechanism (latch) on our front door broke and damned nearly locked me out. Managed to fasten the door without the latch looked at a couple of You Tubes, but decided there were too many possible problems with DIY including identifying the model number needed & fitting it correctly, probably taking hours. Wisely decided to call in Darren from “Through The Keyhole Locksmith” in Daventry. Within 20 minutes he was here on the way to another job, identified the right gearbox, found he had a replacement in his van and replaced the broken gearbox in short order. The whole thing took just less than 40 minutes from initial call to completion. Excellent service and a fast, professional job. Well done & thank you Darren. Highly recommended.

I messaged Darren prior to moving into our house to get a quote for some new locks. He answered my message immediately suggesting as soon as we'd move in to message him and he could pop round to give us a quote. I messaged once we'd moved in. His wife Jen responded straight away and we arranged a time and date for Darren to come round. He turned up on time and quickly assessed the locks. He gave me the costs and they were extremely reasonable so it was a no brainer to get the work carried out. He was friendly, polite and chatty throughout and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Brilliant service!!

I’ve worked with Through the Keyhole for over 10 years in my role as a lettings agent, and they have been nothing short of outstanding throughout. Whether it’s emergency callouts, lock repairs, or full lock changes, they consistently deliver fast, reliable, and professional service.

Darren has always been exceptional — he never misses a call, is always quick to respond (even out of hours), and handles every job with a level of care and expertise that’s hard to find. It’s rare to come across a tradesperson so dependable.

I regularly recommend Through the Keyhole to family, friends, and clients — and I’ve never had anything but glowing feedback. Truly a top-tier service from start to finish. Highly recommended!

We look after hundreds of property in Northamptonshire and Warwickshire and we need a reliable locksmith. I don’t know how Darren does it but in all the time I have used him he has never let me down. Always available to help, always on time, always polite. And at a fair honest price.

As a letting agent, finding reliable and trustworthy tradespeople is essential – and I can honestly say Darren is amazing! We've now used their services multiple times, and every experience has been smooth, professional, and hassle-free.
They’re incredibly responsive, often arriving on-site within the hour, and always provide clear communication and honest advice. Whether it's an emergency call-out, a routine lock change, or helping tenants with lost keys, I know I can count on them every time.
Their workmanship is top-notch, pricing is fair, and most importantly, they treat both myself and my tenants with professionalism and courtesy. I own a local property management company and we have used THKL for well over a decade for every lock-related issue that has arisen.

Polite, efficient, quick response times and - most importantly - honest and won’t rip you off. Could never fault their work and the only locksmith that I would be prepared to recommend.

Excellent service. He arrived very quickly and fixed the problem with our front door lock.

Darren and Jenna couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Communication is spot on throughout the process.
They are both super friendly and reliable and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

A massive thank you to Darren today, after calling several locksmiths around Daventry and being quoted £60+ call out fees for fixing a broken key in my lock, Darren kindly talked me through how to fix the issue over the phone and the matter was resolved in minutes. I appreciate your kindness and professional service. Highly Recommended.
