My sister bought a clock from this company for a Christmas present and the item was faulty from the start. As the refund policy is set as 30 days and this had past by the time I set this up, they wouldn’t offer a refund or a replacement. They asked for videos and a description of the problem, but this took over 3months which is all they offer in terms of warranty on any of their electrical items.
If you’ve bought an alarm clock you would expect at least a years warranty for a premium product.

The clock will not remember the time, all the lights stay on and gets incredible hot as a result. There are also scratches around the buttons.

Be careful when you purchasing any electronic items from this company.

Rubbish clock
Comes from china. Took over a month to arrive. Don’t be deceived by website being a co.uk All instructions are gobbledygook so difficult to set up.
Piercing noise every time I press a button. So easy to guess how the alarm would sound.
Think I’ve been duped 😒

Ordered Modern six layer computer & work desk. on 11/03/22, it arrived few days later. It came in 2 boxes but unfortunately one of the boxes contained wrong colour of item. So requested exchanged for right item colour. Oh dear this is where it all goes wrong. Customer service is shocking. Been emailing and calling but only had 1 reply in over a week. Now having to do a charge back through my card provider as I am getting nowhere fast. So people just take note, customer service is not the best. Stay clear.

Such a bad company thats unreliable and unresponsive. I've ordered a desk (#WA21804) and received it on the 11/3. The desk is damaged with black unknown marks and cracks on edges. I've sent an email to them to ask someone to collect the defective desk so I could get my total refund. However, they are trying to make me keep the defective desk and send me 50% refund. My request is simple, I only need a total refund but they DO NOT listen. After then, they don't reply to me despite I've emailed many times and phone them. It seems that they are trying get away with it until it gone past 30 days refund policy. I'm really disappointed, I would never ever purchase any items for this company. People PLS DO NOT buy anything in here. Thank you.

This is a fraudulent company. I ordered a work chair and paid more than 200 Euros for it only to receive a poor quality product which has screw holes in all wrong places so it cannot be assembled + some other screws are wrong length so they don't fit the positions. I wrote to them to send me feedback on what can be done and then upon their request sent them a detailed video showing the issue in detail. After that they stopped responding to my emails and in the last 1 week I have tried to follow up several times. The phone number does not work + I tried to reach them on Instagram and there is no reply. This is totally unacceptable and I highly recommend to NOT buy anything at all from them. I will be asking my credit card provider to issue a chargeback from this fraudulent company.

Do not use this company. Ordered a patio heater which came marked and had parts missing. I requested a return of the item but now they are not responding to my emails so I will have to ask my credit company to deal directly with them. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering.

Utterly DISGUSTED! Do not do business with this company! I bought 2 patio heaters from them and both needed to have holes drilled in the correct places. The fixings pack was woefully short of fixings. I am a mechanical engineer and luckily was able to fettle one of the heaters so that it would work, the other however had so many parts missing and even after re engineering, I was unable to light the gas as the thermo coupler was faulty ( The first unit needed the re location of the thermo coupler to make it ignite.) I have tried many times to contact this company and had one email asking me for Photos an videos showing the faults. These, I have sent to them (6 emails), I have heard nothing since. Please be VERY wary of conducting business with this company as they seem to want your money but don't want to deal with any quality control issues. NOTE.... the phone number does not seem to bea a real one.

I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews here for The work alley? I saw the negative comments just after I had placed a order for some novelty lights and obviously I was concerned but I needn't have worried because everything went well in my experience.
The order arrived safely, it was a little slow but most importantly it arrived undamaged. I started to set up my new lights and after a few weeks I noticed that some were faulty, so I contacted the company to explain my issues and after a couple of days I was asked to take a photo, which I did and at that point I was told that replacements would be sent out to me.
The second package was again a little slow but it has arrived recently and I am very pleased.
The work alley also asked me to inform them upon arrival of the replacement package which I did and they then sent a goodwill partial refund to my PayPal account to cover the problems that I had with the slightly delayed packages and faulty lights.
I really couldn't ask for more from them, I only wish other online retailers did the same.
I know they sell bigger items and my order was small in comparison but my experience was positive and there are no complaints from me.

I ordered a shade at the end of January we are now middle of March and I've still not received the shade! Customer service is non existent they don't reply for 3-4days then tell you to check the tracking info apparently transfered to dpd who have not received the item yet??

This company does not deliver! Nor did they they answer my emails for months.... I placed an order for a Standing Work Desk at the start of November and 4 months later (after they took the money right away) they had not delivered, nor sent me any updates.
Then I wrote again and said it was not OK and I wanted a refund (or I would take action) - this time they refunded me same day. ...So the matter was resolved well finally.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
This is a Chinese company masquerading as a UK company. They take your money and then nothing. I ordered lights weeks ago was sent a tracking number that doesn’t exist and despite emailing several times, no response. So they have over £180 of my money and I have nothing! A complete scam. I’m usually pretty good at picking out these rogue companies but got caught out this time. Wish I’d read the reviews before I ordered. I repeat, DO NOT USE.
So, they did respond to this review and apologised and offered a £20 refund on receipt! The lamps have now arrived, cheap rubbish. They can’t be screwed together because there are no holes in the legs, the remote works randomly and is not in sync with the light. It’s just all very cheap and nasty. I have emailed to return as not fit for purpose, I await their response!

Ordered a desk this morning and - my mistake for not doing so - had not checked google reviews, and found that the company actually is a front for a company in China. This is not clear by any means and is 100% misleading.

Their 3 contact numbers all go to a Lycamobile voicemail, their online chat system does not work and simply says 'someone will be in touch', which of course they do not.

Their support email clearly isn't monitored as there has been no sign of a response, even an automated receipt email.

Their Facebook messenger service simply directs you to the useless email.

I feel very sill for trusting this company, and rarely write reviews, but please to anyone considering this company, AVOID.

Seems very much like a 'take the money and run' kind of thing.

Extremely disappointed with the item i have received. Is absolutely nothing like the image. The ornament on the website looks stylish and expensive and I have been supplied with cheap plastic. Will be conatcting paypal for a refund.

Lovely footstool with storage. Delivered within a couple of days. Only complaint was that a few of the holes for the feet were not aligned and we had to adapt it slightly, drilling our own holes but all working now.

Quality product at great price. The items, however, made of recycled plastic, came wrapped in several layers of plastic - because of the packaging, I’ve given 3 stars.

Sent a product with parts missing, took just under a month to receive, no contact number to speak to anyone directly, I'm now in a situation where they have my money and won't respond to any emails, still do not have the product I've paid for.
They will also charge you extra to send the product back which it's your responsibility to send back to China!

Avoid. Products are not as described/different entirely to what is shown on the site. The guy, based in China (not something that would usually bother me if the products are good quality, but it does to some people), also runs frissonlife.com, so be wary. If you've managed to receive something you can still put to good use, take it and walk away. The Penelope Smith character that appears in your emails as customer service manager is also fictional as the woman's image is a stock photo from Unsplash. Some people on here are still receiving products they're happy with but it's a game of chance, play at your own risk.

I am very satisfied with the purchase of the sofa from your company. Thank you for the sofas that arrived on time. They are very beautiful and of high quality.

In December I ordered two desk chairs, and was told they would be delivered within a few weeks. Just before Xmas I got an email saying that they were due to arrive, but on the day of delivery there was only one.
I contacted the company about the other chair, and they said 'wait a few days'. It is now over a month later and there is still no sign of the chair. Every week I email the company and they say 'wait a few days'. They seem to have no way of tracking the chairs whereabouts, and can give me no idea of a delivery date!

Received carpet, no issue with order or delivery. It is a bit more plastic than I thought and if I put my heavy table on it it will stick into it. Having said that it is lovely colours and will look lovely in the garden
