About us
The One Stop Money Shop was founded in 2002 and originally started as a credit broker for short term affordable loans. The business later transformed into an online money lender as it continues to operate today.
Based in Wakefield, Yorkshire, we are proud to our northern roots and to be serving the whole of the UK with a flexible, instalment loan product. Moving away from the traditional payday loan product, we are pleased to offer loans repaid over 6,9 and 12 months which give customers greater flexibility and breathing space to repay their loans.
The One Stop Money Shop is a fully authorised lender under the Financial Conduct Authority, registration number 713424.
As an authorised firm, we have demonstrated our commitment to provide safe and transparent financial products with our customers' best interests at heart.
We carry out a series of checks to ensure that customers can afford to repay our loans without falling into financial difficulty and being clear and transparent is part of the company culture and centre to everything we do.

Had an unexpected wage reduction and I asked a little bit time for payments, but they started bullying blackmailing. I proved everything and they said,I'm a scammer! What a disgusting company?? I never ever will use their service after this loan!! I highly recommend to Everyone AVOID this company!

Horrible company full of rude staff…
Horrible company full of rude staff with no empathy or consideration. I told them who was managing my debt and they still threatened me with a court order and home visits. They are demanding more than I can afford but wouldn't accept my offer. I could not believe how nasty and rude the person on the chat was. I have never been spoken to by anyone in such an aggressive manner. I hope they sleep well knowing the misery they cause others who are already in a difficult situation through no fault of their own.
