Arrived for my appointment. Previous one had been cancelled.
Informed that this one too had been cancelled. No text, no voicemail left.
I have two children so I had to arrange childcare so this is very inconvenient.
Not ver good customer service

I first came to this dentist when I was 18 and now being 24 years old I have finally completed my journey, at least for now. I thought I would have to have all my teeth out as they were so crooked, I thought they were beyond the point of no return. But I was quickly relieved when The Mall Dental put me together a full plan to remediate this without having drastic treatment. I first started with orthodontics, completely straightened my teeth, then moved onto whitening and then finally crowns for my front teeth. In this time period the dentist was so flexible with my plan, working around me, being patient and let me work around my own commitments. My teeth completely transformed, was a long but fulfilling journey and was supported all the way.

I have been a patient of The Mall Dental Clinic in Manchester for a few months, then because of work I had to move to a new city and for that reason I needed to change dentist.

My new dentist needed to see my records before my first appointment, so I requested my data to The Mall Dental. I sent the first email on the 5th of September and I got no reply for more than a month. As they have been ignoring me for so long, I decided to send a formal Data Subject Access request - as it is my right to access my dental records upon request and with no charges.

Weirdly, I received a call after only a few hours (writing the magical words "data subject access request" might have done the trick). I could not pick the call as I was working, but then the Reception Manager sent me a form to fill up to request my records. I filled it up, signed it digitally and then sent it. Unfortunately, I got told that I needed to POST IT to their address, which is 1) a cause of annoyance and extra costs, 2) completely unnecessary in 2023. I pointed out to them that according to the rules they cannot force me to post a form to them via letter and that they have to give me my dental records upon my request according to the rules set by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). After that, I received no response for days again.

I am now in the process of sending them a warning that if they do not send me my dental records within 30 days I will have to start a formal complaint, that if ignored will escalate to the ICO.

For fairness, I will keep the review updated according to how the clinic will address the matter.

My third visit to the mall dental practice today, another fantastic experience with Lauren for my hygienist appointment. Dr Bilal Chaudhry certainly one of the best dentists I’ve seen. Big thanks to him and the team! 😊

I wanted to say a big thank you to Dr James and Reba, who have made my teeth journey wonderful and comfortable for me as I've not had the best experience with past dentists but these guys have really made me feel more confident and happier with my smile. The only dentist I will go back too from now on. Thank you the Mall dentist.

My fith visit now, the staff are super nice and friendly, from someone who personally doesn't like the dentist experience, I will always stay private as the quality of care and comfort in service they deliver is amazing, I have also been given samples to test for an issue I have always had flossing due to overcrowded teeth which is now so much easier to maintain, thanks again.

Decided to go to The Mall stockport after bad experience at my previous dentist, as it had excellent reviews. They provide a very friendly and professional service. Phil put me completely at ease and has given my a gorgeous smile. I wont be going back to my previous dentist. I'm staying with Phil and his fantastic team.

I have been having invisalign with The Mall Dental for the last 12 months and have always found everyone to to friendly yet professional, and have always felt at ease when I have visited. I now have my hygienist appointments here also instead of my usual dentist and would really recommend.

i have had dental work done here and was very good and successful however i recently recommended a friend of mine pat as he needs implants doing after them taking money for consultation and telling him they will e-mail him with treatment plan and costs they never did,so he telephoned them again and was promised he would have the e-mail in 2 days time, week later still nothing i am fuming as i have recommended them and this has now embarassed me, i do have an appointment in 2 weeks time this i will now cancel and take my business elsewhere this practice has now gone down in my estimation
