I recently won two competitions on the lucky hunter, the first being a small Facebook ‘guess how much is in the jar’ game which gave me 5 free entries into the raffle for an all inclusive sika deer hunting trip in Ireland.
Then I received a call to say I’d the won the main raffle and was going on this trip and I couldn’t believe my ears!
A few months went by and the planning and communication from Ashley (the lucky hunter) and Mike (Mike Taylor Sporting) was exceptional, allowing me to pick what dates to go, who I’d go with and how I was getting there and giving me all the info I needed about the trip.

The Trip itself was an absolutely unbelievable experience that I will never forget! the scenery, the people and the hunting was better than I could have ever imagined (truth be told, after just 2 days there I didn’t want to come back)!
I managed to get a lovely sika stag and my cousin (who I took with me) bagged a nice Hind for the freezer!
Ashley and Mike kept in contact during and after the trip, asking me how it was and just generally made the whole thing feel very friendly and personal which I really appreciated.
I was completely blown away that I won this trip, and as someone who never normally gets the opportunity to go deer stalking, it really felt extra special to me! With the quality of the hunting and the amazing people I’ve met through out, it’s been an experience that will stick with me forever!
I’d like to say a massive thankyou to Ashley for running such a fantastic company (the lucky hunter) its truly a great idea and gives the chance for people who couldn’t normally afford or get the opportunity to go on these trips or get the high end gear, to win these great trips and prizes instead!
I’d also like to thank Mike and All the guys at Glacial valley hunting in Ireland!, The trip wouldn’t have been possible or as amazing without you!

Would definitely recommend have wine two competitions, and a cooler worth £2500 . All for verry little
