We hired the Little Pasta Company for our wedding this summer. At the start of our journey, they were incredibly helpful and professional. We decided to book them for our wedding breakfast, and their communication was excellent. We went for a food tasting, where we got to try a wide selection of their food, which was again excellent. We found them to be very well organised, and our final pre-wedding call soothed any concerns we had about the day; we were formally introduced to our event manager. They took a lot of time to make sure that they were fully aware of any dietary requirements, and the whole process was very professional.

Unfortunately, several issues came up on the day of our wedding.

The first was that the event manager was not present. We had hired an on-the-day coordinator separately to oversee the wedding day, but their responsibilities did not include managing the catering. We were not informed before the wedding that because we had hired a separate on-the-day coordinator, the Little Pasta Company would not be sending their event manager. This resulted in a lot of confusion and mismanagement that could otherwise have been avoided.

The second concerns the dietary requirements, which we went to extensive lengths to make the Little Pasta Company aware of, including a guest breakdown and seating charts showing the requirements. We had two vegan guests. When the pasta starters were served, we were told that both pastas were vegan and even sent the server to double-check with the kitchen. We were again assured that both were. However, one was not, and as a result, our vegan guests ate non-vegan food. We queried what had happened with the server and the kitchen, and it was confirmed that the server had relayed the information they had been provided, and it was the kitchen staff who had incorrectly advised it was vegan.

We chose the chocolate mousse for dessert and asked if it could be made vegan for the vegan guests. We spoke to Daniel at the Little Pasta Company on two separate occasions about this, and he said that it was feasible, but he would have to try it out first. Following this, we received the final information pack for the day, which included the two vegan chocolate mousses, and we believed that this meant it could be achieved. When it came time for dessert, our vegan guests were given store-bought Gu desserts rather than an alternative homemade dessert. We were informed after the desserts went out that, despite their best efforts, they could not make a vegan mousse. This was not communicated to us before the wedding

We had two coeliac guests. Because of the confusion in the kitchen, one gluten-free starter was given to another guest who wasn’t coeliac, and therefore one of our coeliac guests had no starter. They accommodated by plating up a smaller version of the main course, stating they would order in a separate meal for her for the main course. They did not, and she had the same food twice. Additionally, we queried whether the potatoes for the main course were gluten-free and were advised by the kitchen staff that they were not after she was given the meal, which was then taken off her. Following this, on a call with Daniel, he confirmed that the potatoes were in fact gluten-free, as it was the gravy that was not, and the information we had been given by the kitchen was incorrect, so her meal was returned to her again. In the end, our coeliac guests no longer had confidence that the food would be safe for them and did not eat.

The third is the overall quality of the food. We decided on the grigliata option, but because of limitations with our venue, the Little Pasta Company suggested it would be easier and a smoother process if they brought in electric ovens to cook the food instead. We deferred to their expertise and agreed. We do not know if it would have been different if we had not, but on the day, the starters and main courses arrived cold and several guests, including myself, had to ask for them to be reheated. We were told by guests that the vegetarian/vegan main course did not appear to be cooked properly and that the aubergine in the aubergine parmigiana appeared to be raw.

As a result of these issues, my now-wife and I had to spend a significant portion of our wedding day dealing with catering missteps. The staff in attendance were very apologetic, and upon speaking to Daniel on the day, he offered a refund following the dessert issue.

We received a full refund and further compensation, as well as a sincere apology. While appreciated, it does not change that the numerous catering problems had a significant impact on our wedding day. We were advised that this had never happened before, and while we felt it was important to share this review, we hope that others do receive the high-quality service that is described by others

The Little Pasta Company catered our wedding in April. It was a pleasure to work with Daniel and Emma throughout the planning process, and they were absolute superstars on the day.

The food was delicious, and we've had so many compliments in the weeks afterwards, even from those with dietary requirements. We also loved the opportunity to taste it at the group tasting beforehand. It was a really special evening + made us feel so excited.

Emma was brilliant on the day, helping to keep everything on track despite our best efforts to be late! The whole team really went above and beyond to deliver a brilliant day that we will treasure forever.

TLPC supplied the catering and staffing for our wedding this summer.
For context this was a full plated wedding breakfast service from their Grigliata menu (porchetta) for 130 persons, including appetizers beforehand during the drinks reception. We had a free bar after which they manned until 11pm and provided ice and garnishes for.

This was a farm wedding which has never been used as a venue before and came with a lot of surprises and unforeseen challenges.

From the first contact to menu tasting to the day itself every experience with TLPC has been a pleasure.

I will mention here that for the quality of service TLPC offered a much more competitive price than other similar caterers who provide some open grilled cooking option. Further, the number of staff per head was much more generous which made a great deal of difference to the running of the day as there was always ample staff to serve guests, man the bars and clean as they went.
On top of this, TLPC provided both a front of house and a behind the scenes manager on the day to manage service which was a huge relief to myself and my wife who knew there were lots of moving parts from different suppliers that may require attention during the day. I’m sure all the various staff are great but I must make special recommendations for Amy and Daniel (founder) if you use the company who both share a wealth of expertise and experience both professionally and personally having both organised their own weddings too.
Amy arrived early on our request to scope the venue on the day and allow us to run through things, again something which added a personal dimension of calm to myself, my wife and the ushers who were busy running around.

I didn’t have time to thank them in my speech formally but would have if I had the capacity. It was a pleasure to work with them and I recommend their services entirely not only to those who are looking at a relaxed menu style of pasta but also to those who want a more traditional plated meal.

Dan, Emma and the team were incredible. Dan ensured what was important to us was reflected by facilitating some personal tweaks in the already amazing menu. Emma was a force - she listened, advised, and kept me calm by quietly ensuring the day ran smoothly. I honestly couldn’t have got through it without her. Our guests gave great feedback about the food and I would highly recommend The Little Pasta Company to anyone considering them for an event.

Daniel and team did a great job at our wedding. Food was delicious and they were comfortably able to cater in an outdoor setup. Menu was interesting and differentiated from most "Italian" wedding caterers. Would highly recommend.

We were looking for a caterer who could do simple food really well with a relaxed vibe - and on a fairly tight budget. LPC delivered all of this and more.

Daniel put us at ease from our first conversation, listening to our ideas and offering his expertise and helpful recommendations on how we could make everything work.

We quickly realised how ‘quirky’ our dry hire venue was, and I can’t express enough how patient and understanding Daniel and Emma were through this. Despite never having catered the venue before, they nailed it, going above and beyond to not only ensure they could make it work, but to also make sure we were happy and confident about how everything would run.

A particular thank you to Emma, without whom the day would not have run so smoothly. She handled every question we came up with - and all those we didn’t - to make sure everything was perfect on the day, including coordinating with our suppliers to get everything in place. Her attention to detail, creative eye and planning of the whole day (and organisation before and after) were above what we could have imagined.

The food was fabulous, and we’ve received so much positive feedback from all our guests on how good it all was.

The tasting was also a real highlight of our whole planning process as LPC organised an evening for us to try the food with other couples, sharing our wedding planning stories and of course trying the wonderful food.

We couldn’t have asked for a better catering team to make our wedding as special as it was. Thank you again!

From planning to the final plate, the whole experience was stress-free. The Little Pasta Company were organised, responsive, and delivered exactly what they promised... yummy food and great service. We knew we wanted Italian food with a family feasting vibe, and we didn't have a big budget so we were relieved to stumble across The Little Pasta Company when looking for a caterer for our wedding.

In the planning stages, Daniel was helpful and honest, and we knew our catering was in great hands from the off. And given our venue was dry-hire, with no event co-ordinator, it was invaluable to have the incredible Emma (an experienced wedding planner herself) as LPC's event manager for our wedding, ensuring everything went smoothly and looked great. She was fantastic.

A huge thank you from us to the whole team for making it the most amazing day. The antipasti sharing boards and the beef ragu were highlights!

Daniel and his team were incredible from start to finish. From our initial conversations he was extremely friendly and attentive, listening to our ideas and offering great solutions. From the moment we booked with LPC the communication was excellent! Daniel was a great guy to work with and went above and beyond our expectations with his help and advice in the lead up to the day.

On the day the the whole team were amazing they turned a party in a garden into an incredible wedding with their flawless service (even in the pouring rain!) and incredibly friendly and enthusiastic staff.

Daniel was incredible from our first communication through to the day of our wedding. We had a small wedding of fifty people, and they were all so pleased with the gorgeous Italian food. We couldn't have been happier with our experience with Daniel and his team. They provided the catering for our wedding recently and everything was perfect, the quality of the food, the flexibility they offered, the service on the day and general customer service throughout! I'd highly recommend. They were able to adapt the menu to offer us some specifics we really wanted, with no sneaky extra charges. On the day they truly went above and beyond the scope of their services and we are so grateful for this. I'd most definitely use them again!

From start to finish, Daniel made everything feel simple and stress-free. He was incredibly responsive, organised, and a real pleasure to work with. We had several calls before the big day to go over all the details, and he made sure nothing was overlooked.

On the day itself, the team arrived early, set everything up beautifully, and were fantastic throughout. They served drinks from guest arrival, right through to running an evening cocktail bar - which many of our guests said served some of the best cocktails they’d ever had!

And the food… absolutely delicious! From the canapés to the three-course meal (antipasti, pasta sharing platters, and a peach dessert) - it was all beautifully presented and incredibly tasty.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience. Highly recommended!

Dan & the team were nothing short of outstanding. On the lead up to our wedding, Dan was more like a wedding planner than caterer! He handled all of the admin with the venue directly and made the process so easy for us.

The wedding day itself ran so smoothly and the food was amazing. All of our guests commented on our great the food was.

Daniel and the team produced some amazing food for our wedding in what ended up being one of the hottest days of the year. Food was so important to us, having been to so many weddings where it always missed the mark. We’re thrilled that our guests were raving about the porchetta and grilled peaches were also a huge hit. From the first informal chat, Dan lifted a weight of our shoulders and we knew we were going to be in safe hands. His attention to detail and willingness to tailor menus and service made our wedding truly us. He ran with our ideas and created an epic party that we could have only dreamed of.

The food, Dan’s signature dishes and love for all things flavour meant we’ve had compliment after compliment in the weeks after.

The tasting evening was the perfect date night in the lead up to the wedding and its little touches that take the service above and beyond.
