I would advise everyone to avoid. Online orders are very poorly packaged resulting in them arriving damaged. Customer services number is no longer in use so they ask you to email but unfortunately they do not respond to emails. I will not buy from them again.

Following up on your response. I would love to contact you but you do not reply. This is absolutely the right company which I purchased from as it links through to your website.

To top of the issue I’m waiting for a refund of £115 now. You’re claiming you didn’t receive the return despite me sending it to the address on the returns form and having proof of delivery.

Please do not shop here! Absolute nightmare.

AVOID! DODGY AND DISHONEST! Wish I had researched first! Ordered a light on sale. Was emailed to say they are cancelling order as item out of stock. Immediately re-listed item at higher price as an in stock item. I challenged this and they then removed the item. Phone lines don’t work - haven’t done so for weeks as per reviews. Super disappointed- it is a massive risk to trust this company.

I paid for next day delivery. The product was a week in transit and my electrician had been and gone. Returning said items was a nightmare. I didn't have a printer to print out the returns form. I shall be giving this company a wide berth.

Not even 1 star, I bought £350 worth of products and returned them at my own cost. I’ve had no refund. No one gets back to you via email, the phone lines don’t work. The live chat doesn’t work. This company is a scam.

Please do not use this company which is part of the Lancashire Electrical Lamp Company. Zero customer service, poor quality products and aggressive behaviour when we attempted to find a solution. Over £1000 out of pocket, and irrespective of how they may chose to respond to this review, its utterly shameless.

I ordered a lamp shade which was not suitable. Returned it at my own cost and I’ve not heard a thing from them. I’ve rang, fake number and I’ve emailed, had no response. I’ve said goodbye to my £55.00 refund. Absolutely disgraceful 😡

The company is a SCAM. Ordered an item that did not arrive. It is impossible to call them as they’re having “technical issue” for the last few weeks. I have emailed twice with no response. Will be reporting them. I wish I saw the other reviews before,

The mercury vapour bulbs I ordered for my moth trap were well priced compared to others, arrived quickly and well packaged.

Only giving 1 star as you can't give lower.

The items I bought were fine, just not what I wanted.

Returned as per their procedure, haven't had a refund and can't get hold of them.

Trying to recover my money through PayPal now

I bought a Pedestal Fan online on July 6, 2026 & paid 64.45 by debit card. It was delivered the next day
(made in China stamped on it). After assembling it
& switching on, the motor made a rattling noise &
overheated, becoming too hot to touch. 2 neighbors
were having coffee & witnessed it was defective &
dangerous. It's impossible to reach anyone at the Lighting Centre by phone or email, they don't pick up the phone & the many emails I've sent, are not replied to. I've been left with a Fan that's never worked. This is a terrible company, don't buy from them !

I purchased an item through their ebay store and the 5***** service was excellent. Great communications,Very well packed and the item arrived on time. Highly Recommended, thank you.

They do not answer their phone I didn’t receive my delivery and there is no way for me to contact them. Complete lack of customer service.

Update. My dispute with them centres on the fact that their courier did not deliver to the right address. Despite clear proof of this and trying to get my money back via my bank this company have refused to refund me. The company is now trying to deny that I was ever a customer despite them sending me an email to write a review. The company have indicated that they are happy to discuss if I contact them - try phoning them you will never get through and they still have a fax number listed!

As I have stipulated before, this company is not fit for purpose. Avoid.

Placed an order for light bulbs that I received fine except one of them was damaged. I then placed another order for a couple more light bulbs and emailed asking for them to include a replacement for the damaged bulb in the new order. I never received a response to my email and the 2nd order was never despatched. I chased this up by email and was again ignored. The phone line constantly says they are experiencing technical difficulties and they don't respond to the live chat either. This company are basically just criminals and I don't know how they haven't been shut down.

Ordered on Monday paid the necessary delivery charge and it arrived on Tuesday as promised very good service would shop with you again.

Great service, packaged so well, no way was anything going to break.
