A great understanding of Interior Design
The reading material & assignments are very informative. I have been learning a lot. My tutor has been great to work with. She answers pretty quickly and is very knowledgeable as well as helpful. I have had a lot of fun challenging myself with different things as well as completing the assignments.

This course has been a great experience and really helped push me closer to launching my own design business. I’ve learned valuable design fundamentals and detailed insights that have made me feel more confident about charging for my services. If you have an eye for design and the motivation to complete a self-paced course, this is a great place to start! I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 only because I had to purchase a separate course to learn AutoCAD in order to complete one of the assessments. You can also purchase one of IDI's autoCAD courses...I just happened to get a different one.

A course worth taking!
I find this course to be quite challenging and engaging. It has pushed both my analytical and creative skills in new ways. As a former teacher, I have really enjoyed the way in which IDI condenses so much substantive material in each chapter and then subsequently tests your understanding of that material in a creative way. It’s quite empowering, and this course has given me the confidence to make analyze design and make thoughtful decisions about interiors.

Never to busy to learn
The modules were well written and understandable. I loved the online learning at your own pace. I was able to finish all modules within a year even with my busy schedule. The best part was my contact at the school. She was always there for my questions. She gave great advice when she graded the modules also.

I really enjoy studying the online…
I really enjoy studying the online module with its flexible schedule. The material, created by various designers, is well-written, and the assignments are great for practice. My tutor, Megan, provides valuable guidance through her comments. While I am not pursuing a career as an interior designer, the knowledge has been incredibly helpful for my real estate business. During the course, I successfully completed a flip project, which marked significant improvement.
