Really great in-depth intro to many aspects of interior design. Designed to launch new businesses. My assigned mentor and module grader Wendi is very insightful and comprehensive in her feedback, from which I learn a ton each time I submit an assignment. The Facebook community of IDI students is inclusive and a great resource to lean on.

The modules have been very thorough on interior design and I have enjoyed my new tutor. She’s been giving me a great feedback. I did not like my previous tutor that I had had. When I started my course. She wasn’t very helpful.

Great interior design course
The interior design course is a great way to delve into the interior design world. I just finished module 5 and I can’t wait to continue with the course. You have 12 months to finish the course in its entirety and it’s more than enough even if you’re doing it part time. Study material is rich and very informative. Assignments are always very clear, fun, and challenging. My tutor is very nice and encouraging always, she answers any questions I have promptly, and always gives a detailed constructive feedback on my assignments. Overall, it’s been a great experience and I’ve learned so much. I can’t wait to apply the knowledge I gained in the real world.

My experience with IDI has been overwhelmingly positive - the course is self-paced, the content is comprehensive and engaging, and my tutor is absolutely amazing! I have received such helpful and constructive feedback on my assignments, and this has helped me gain a better understanding of the various modules. The assignments are wonderfully thought through with clear expectations and examples of student work. These have challenged me in so many ways and I have thoroughly enjoyed the learning and creating process. The course is very rich with information.
I took a diploma before i started idi, when I had the idi courses I felt more confident. And I experienced new things and with each assignment I did, I felt more accurate with each step of design. Overall I really enjoyed this journey.

Great course
The Interior Design Institute has worked with me. I do most of my work for the class at night and on the weekends. I work a job that requires 60 to 70 hours a week. My time is important and with the help and understanding of my mentor, I am able to complete at my own pace.

Value for Investment
I believe I am getting a lot of value for the money I am investing. I’m learning a lot of useful information, even though I’ve designed homes previously. I also appreciate the one-on-one approach with a mentor. Being able to get feedback from an expert in the field has been invaluable.
