This is a really outstanding example of modern luxury accommodation, delivered in a way that offers a high level of accessibility in a gorgeous restful location yet is just 20-40 mins by car from a wide range of holiday activities. Loved our stay and enjoyed walks with the dog into local areas like Hambleton itself, and farther afield.

What’s to love ? Well the accessibility of course, step free throughout, plenty of space and a cracking kitchen setup. Gadgets ? Yep a lot of gadgets and you’d have to be dull not to be made up with the motorised window blinds, linked to Alexa and just ace ! I was amazed and delighted to be able to walk / wheel into Hambleton. Me, our gorgeous labradoodle Rita and at various times friends and family. It’s a relatively short but accessible walk down a narrow road, past the small harbour and in a bit you are wandering around Hambleton, eating at the pub, grabbing chips or shopping at the Spa. Just great !

Really enjoyed so much being within an easy drive, and coming back ‘home’ to that view from a superb large balcony. All reached from the chalet or outside ramp. Dog friendly mattered to us, but it does need a couple of mobile gates to block some areas and even then it’s not fully fenced in but it’s all manageable and the area pretty safe and quiet.

Note the accessibility isn’t a Level 1 ceiling fixed hoisting setup but there’s space for a mobile hoist if needed. Profile beds in several bedrooms and a stunning master bedroom. All round The Estuary is a wonderful holiday stay, a Chalet posher than the name implies and it fits so well into the local environment, we loved seeing the house from across the Estuary in the country park, it’s a great fit and we found ourselves talking to locals about it whilst walking Rita in a great park with a little cafe that serves fabulous ice cream and sausage baps !

Five star owners as well, nothing too much trouble but never OTT. Just a really good vfm stay with local and farther away facilities, not to mention a brilliant link up with the award winning Brick House cottages that do so much to help make quality holiday accommodation available to so many disabled people and indeed anyone who likes a bit of luxury and a view and sunsets to talk about, a lot !!

We’ve just had an absolutely fabulous break at Bramble - one of the estuary riverside chalets. The house was perfect. It was well fitted out and had everything we needed. We travelled with a toddler and my elderly mum so the accessibility features were essential in allowing us all to have a lovely break. Mum felt very comfortable and safe at Bramble with a bed she was able to position just to the right height, a bathroom with grab rails, raised toilet seat and a shower chair. These all allowed her to have a holiday with us whilst maintaining her independence.
Elaine was great and very responsive with her communication. Nothing was too much trouble.
I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone but especially those who have additional needs.

The owners are first class, communicating before, during and after the holiday break. Very informative of places nearby and ideas. The chalet was out of this world. Very modern by design and full of lots to assist disabled families. From a rise reclining chair, shower chairs and profiling beds it was such a relief to have these to aid.
Would definitely return and recommend this property which is quiet especially after a busy day at Blackpool.

We have just come back from staying at the estuary riverside chalets, they definitely don't resemble holiday chalets and we all had a lovely holiday. What a fantastic place to stay these properties have lovely furnishings and decor,have been well designed to suit all holiday makers.Also ideal for
People with disabilities.
We required two profiling beds for two of our party that was wheelchair bound, Elaine the owner made sure both beds was allocated were we needed them, and the personal touch of phone call a few days before our holiday just to confirm what we needed.perfect we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed ourselves tremendously in the chalet and beyond. And, for the first time ever, the fact that one of our party was in a wheelchair was not important. The chalet is an exemplar in terms of its simple and efficient ways of aiding a wheelchair user. So many establishments could learn from this, including all those who claim to be wheelchair friendly yet, for example, supply a bed that is impossible to transfer into. Well done!

Where do I start. From start to finish the Estuary Riverside Chalet was one of the most relaxing places I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. From pulling up outside the chalet and entering the premises - absolutely breathtaking. The views are outstanding and framed beautifully with the windows and the glass surrounding the decking area. Elaine and Tony have done an amazing job providing a home from home atmosphere in a modern and fresh environment. The icing on the cake is the fact that everything is accessible and very wheelchair friendly. A hoist was provided along with a profiling bed. Two must haves that we require now for my disabled sister. They have thought of everything, well that we needed anyway. What made our break even more special was wee simple touches like a wee starry night light that my disabled sister loved. I was even able to shower her as they had a tilt n space shower chair. This is something we are never able to do on holiday. It was so refreshing. The house is build with most, if not all, disability issues in mind. The place is also kitted out with a variety of mod cons such as alexa’s in all rooms, Wi-Fi, tvs with inbuilt apps. So the chalets suit all age groups. I give the Estuary Riverside Chalets 10/10 as an ideal holiday location and can’t wait to return.

A fantastic stay! House is amazing- so spacious, clean and well-equipped with a stunning view. Excellent provision for anyone with mobility problems. Great host- very accommodating and helpful. We had a wonderful stay - all 4 adults and 2 🐶🐶 loved it!

This was a gorgeous house in a beautiful location and Elaine was so approachable. The accommodation was spotless, modern and had all the mod cons. We had a lovely time here and will definitely book again. Highly recommend!

Loads of information on where to go and where to eat which was very useful.

A delightful spacious modern immaculate property, fully accessible, with ramped access and idyllic views of the river with sheep, horses and hares down a rural lane with easy access to local amenities and attractions.
Lots of added extras such as voice control blinds, robotic vacuum, pop up plug island and charger.
Outside spacious accessible terrace with charging station at the property for electric cars.
Host was prompt, friendly and helpful.
I would not expect this property to disappoint anyone.

The accommodation was excellent especially for my family which included a wheelchair user Modern and a spotless clean property with great views All our needs were met which aided to a stress free prefect holiday Elaine was the prefect host and responded immediately to any questions raised Peaceful location but with easy access to all the great attractions in the area

So many great things to say about our stay and our wonderful host Elaine! The house is stunning 🤩 very modern and tech savvy. My kids loved the space and seeing the Sheep and ducks on a regular basis. Spacious rooms. Very clean, you feel like your the only one that’s stayed in the Bungalow. Lovely views of the river. Pictures don’t do it justice. Elaine was super sweet always responsive and helpful to meet all our needs and requests! We are already looking forward to our next stay at the Estuary! 🥰

Can’t say enough great things about Bramble cottage. Was there to take a lady I look after on holiday and she had the most amazing time thanks to being able to stay somewhere like this. So much room for everyone including a wheelchair user. Beautiful scenery and in such a lovely and peaceful area. Nothing was too much trouble for Elaine. Will definitely be returning!!

We stayed here for Mother's Day and a much needed short break. The pictures are great but still don't do this justice, as it's not a chalet as you'd come to associate with the term. It was modern and very spacious, which was ideal for my Mum having restricted mobility, and all you needed to be a home from home. TVs and Alexas in each room was a nice touch, as was arriving to some milk after a long journey and you just want a cup of tea. Elaine was knowledgeable about the area and responsive to queries to help make the stay all run smoothly. Highly recommended, we shall return.

Just returned from the brambles , accommodation and everything in it 10/10 ,location and scenery is second to none ,honestly don't bypass this "chalet" more like a luxury dream home you don't want to leave

We’ve just got back today after amazing week, the place was beautiful and the views were out of the world, everything that was discussed on the phone was put in place to use straight away. Thank you hopefully we will be back in September 😊

The property is spacious and clean, with all the amenities you could want. It has been well planned out and can be adapted to cater for many different needs.

Elaine was so helpful throughout the entire booking process and leading up to our stay. She took the time to phone me and talk through all our specific requirements, so that we felt comfortable and at ease.

Came to celebrate my husband’s special birthday & had an amazing stay. Elaine and Tony arranged for balloons and bubbly which added a special touch, making it feel like a celebration. Luxury chocolates were another welcome touch. Elaine genuinely wanted everything to be perfect for us and, she most definitely achieved that; in fact we extended our stay! The chalet is of a high standard and was perfectly clean. It is so spacious with everything we could possibly need. Underfloor heating was also a lovely treat. The chalet is in a beautiful and quiet location with amazing views of the countryside and wildlife. We did lots of walking and enjoyed returning to such comfort and tranquility. We have definitely recharged and can’t wait to return. Thank you Elaine and Tony!

We had the best new year break. Everything we could ask for for a family with 3 young kids and a family member with mobility needs. Such a lovely place to say! Elaine was very helpful and gave us lots of ideas of what to do it the area. We can’t wait to visit again next new year! Thank you x
