We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is beautiful, really clean, spacious, and stylish. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, especially for my son, who is a wheelchair user. It's in a really quiet, peaceful area also. I would definitely recommend xx

I celebrated my birthday at Estuary Riverside Chalets with my elderly mother and my children. The chalet was perfect for all our needs. It’s very stylish, beautifully furnished, warm and with great views. Elaine was a very kind and responsive host. She even left me a card and some wine for my birthday.

Amazing accommodation with unequalled disabled access and equipment. For the first time my extremely disabled mother had everything she needed from the first night from hospital beds to hoists to over bed tables and more. The host is extremely helpful and responsive to the unique needs of disabled guests. However it should be noted that anyone will find this stunning accommodation impressive. Awesome views across green fields and the estuary, wall size windows in the master bedroom, which also includes a very comfortable super king bed.
Beautiful giant balcony and outdoor furniture. So spacious and bright. Very warm and comfortable. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We are just back from a lovely stay at The Estuary Riverside Chalets, located on the outskirts of the village of Hambleton in Lancashire, around 25 mins from Blackpool and just over an hour to the Lake District.
The accommodation is fantastic, really spacious and modern with lots of useful gadgets!
Disability equipment can be provided at no extra cost and the location is lovely and peaceful overlooking the River Wyre.
Communication with the host Elaine was great and we really enjoyed our stay.
Highly recommend! 🙂

I booked this holiday for my adult son who has complex physical and mental needs. He was staying for 3 nights with 2 carers. They have had the best experience in Blackberry . The owners/managers were so helpful and accommodating. We were so delighted to not have to take all of his lifting equipment due to the vast library of resources that they were able to provide. The house was roomy and warm and had amazing views. They went to Blackpool every day which was Sam's wish. The trams were wheelchair friendly and the Tower day passes were worth the money. He has said he wants to go back again. We would definitely book the same house.

Even before we arrived we were contacted by telephone to see if there were any other aids we needed to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. The chalet itself was superbly clean and well equipped and ideal for those in a wheelchair. The views across the estuary were good for watching bird life whilst it was interesting to see the hares and pheasants in the fields. Would definitely recommend and are planning to book another visit

What an amazing beautiful place it had everything we needed and much more. for wheelchair users and physical disabilities its just fantasic theyve thought of everything, I definitely recommend the estuary chalets we made wonderful memories and had such a lovely time hoping to come again next year thankyou for being so inclusive .

Fantastic accommodation, very spacious clean and welcoming. Owners very accommodating and will help with provision of equipment for disabilities without any costs. Beautiful out look and so peaceful. Will definitely recommend and use again and again.

This excellent accommodation is modern, spacious, clean, comfortable, and above all caters perfectly for the needs of a wheelchair user. The location is very peaceful, and the careful thought that has been put into making every aspect of the chalet a ‘home from home’ meant that we all had a lovely relaxing time. Highly recommended.

What an amazing place, the chalets are set in a peaceful area looking over the estuary. My husband who is s full time wheelchair user and I stayed in Bramble which is absolute luxury. The hosts have gone above and beyond providing equipment as well as providing a 5+star accommodation. Thank you we cannot wait to return next year.

Another fabulous week spent in Bramble. This accommodation is so well thought out and equipped.
The weather was changeable but we had everthing we needed to have a very relaxing time. Nothing beats watching the sun go down from the verandah. Already booked for next year.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our 4 day break 2 days before we were due to go on holiday, as my husband suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. My daughter contacted Elaine and explained what had happened. She was told that unless the cottage could be relet, there would be no refund other than the safety deposit. I appreciate the refund policy states cancellations within 7 days will result in no refund but given the circumstances (my husband was the person who needed the disabled facilities), even a 50% refund would have been appreciated. Obviously we couldn’t rearrange the holiday as we didn’t need the disabled facilities and we weren’t insured as the cost of insurance for my husband was astronomical. I really do feel that you should look at your cancellation policy in the event of the death of the disabled person.

Another comfortable and spacious time spent in Blackberry chalet. Highly recommend a getaway here everything you need is never too much trouble. Looking forward to going back soon

Just back from a week away here with my family and parents, mum is a full time wheelchair user. We stayed in Blackberry and this chalet is just perfect. Access throughout is excellent and the options of equipment they can provide is amazing! The chalet itself is super modern and spotless making our stay the most enjoyable holiday we have been on. The views over the estuary are stunning, watching the hares in a morning with a cup of coffee was just delightful. There is absolutely nothing the owners have not thought of to make time away with a wheelchair user easy and effortless. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

If you have ever booked a holiday based upon pictures in a brochure or on a website and the reviews it has, it's fantastic, and rare, when you arrive to find it better than you expect!
Well that was the case for us as a family last year, when we stayed in 'Bramble'.
However this year, again staying in 'Bramble', what did we find? We were absolutely delighted to find everything the same! The property has obviously been very well looked after so was as clean and fresh as it was last year :-)
There were still the lovely little touches that go above and beyond and the attention we received was again, 'nothing is too much trouble'.
You know the feeling when you have been away and you return home and feel comfortable and relaxed in your own environment... that's the feeling we got when we arrived at 'Bramble'!
Thank you... again for a fantastic break, and the views aren't half bad either!
So making the decision to come back again was definitely the right one!

Luxury on another level, rare experience to combine this with accessibility. Just 20 mins into Cleveleys and 30 mins to lovely Lytham. Cafe and hydro/sensory near by which is an added bonus. Changing places toilet 3 mins drive away (next to the cafe.) The owners contacted me before hand to give me all the information needed to ensure our stay went smoothly. Dogs allowed for a small fee. Decking surrounds the property which allowed us to sit outside and soak in the view and pass tranquil moments. Exceptional!

I recently visited for a long weekend and my Mother's face when she opened the door was priceless! The chalet was spotless with everything you could think of. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living space was perfect. The views were also stunning - we spent hours looking for the hare and her babies. The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into making this place perfect! We will be visiting again!

What a stunning place. The house was spotless, the views stunning and the thought to detail for assessibility and everything else was spot on. This was most stocked home and thoughtful host I have come across on my UK staycations. The equipment and design made is sk easy for us to take my grandma and for her to enjoy a break. We are so grateful to have found thr Estuary and will definitely be back.

Luxury, comfort, immaculately clean and accessible too! We have really enjoyed our break at Bramble. The chalet had everything we needed and more (my husband is full time wheelchair user) - the voice activated blinds were a real novelty! The peace and quiet was great, we sat on the wrap-around balcony and enjoyed the beautiful views over the estuary with a glass or two - so lovely! The owners were great - nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely care about making sure their guests have the best experience whilst on holiday. Can definitely recommend this place - we've already booked our next stay!
