Really enjoyed the course
Really enjoyed the course book and being able to share thoughts on the forums. Being exposed to the content made me hungry to dive deeper. I did notice quite a number of grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and perhaps some over-simplified definitions of things (upon further research) in the material, but I understand it is intended as an entry-level course. I also wondered if there could have been some more practical tasks especially in the counselling section, like around the questioning perhaps. I got A LOT out of this course though and would absolutely recommend.

I am extremely disappointed with how this enrolment was handled. My daughter unknowingly accepted a button during an enquiry, and we did not understand that this meant she was enrolled. Although the academy says its terms allowed withdrawal within 10 working days, we were not properly informed about the process or payment obligations. We received no clear follow-up, and I only discovered the deductions later through my bank. I emailed them several times explaining that we did not want to enrol my daughter, but I was still pressured by debt recovery to pay $2,345. My daughter received no learning or lectures from them, yet I had to pay the full amount. This has caused significant financial and emotional stress, and I would not recommend this academy.

However, we would like to clarify an important point regarding the enrolment. We respectfully disagree that your daughter was enrolled simply by unknowingly clicking a button during an enquiry. Our records confirm that your daughter spoke directly with one of our Course Advisors and agreed to proceed with the enrolment during that conversation.
The enrolment was therefore not completed without her knowledge or solely as the result of an accidental click. Following the enrolment, access to the online learning platform was provided, along with the applicable terms and conditions and information regarding the enrolment.
We appreciate that you may have a different understanding of what occurred, and we are sorry that the situation has caused you and your family distress. However, we also believe it is important that we clarify the circumstances of the enrolment based on the records available to us.

I studied the Veterinary Assistant and…
I studied the Veterinary Assistant and Animal Welfare course and really enjoyed this it. My daughter and I studied this together on her gap year and it was great to bounce our learning and understanding off each other.
I really appreciated that the course content was printed off and sent out to accompany the online learning. I could then make notes e.g. explore the etymology of medical words to deepen my learning.
At times, I found the course content repetitive and at times missing on detail to fully understand the medical content. I found myself utilising the course content to initiate my search into many a research paper online to get the full picture of the course content.
As an older learner, having gone schooling a few years ago ;-), I enjoyed being able to work at my pace and set out my own schedule to complete tasks. It was great to study the chapter, then complete the quiz. The assignments were interesting and each question related to a chapter of course content. This was a chance to connect the course content to life experience and research articles. Rachel was our tutor and marked our assignments in a timely manner - thanks Rachel :-).
Overall, it was great course and would recommend to anyone who is wanting to learn and up-skill.

I appreciated the opportunity to work through the course material at my own pace, which made the learning experience flexible and manageable. The practice exercises were particularly valuable, as they helped reinforce the content and deepen my understanding.
I found the Xero component to be very thorough and well‑structured; however, I would have liked the QuickBooks and Sage modules to offer the same level of detail. Additionally, a periodic check‑in from tutors would have been beneficial, as it can be easy to feel a bit isolated when studying independently.
Overall, the course was a positive experience, and with a few enhancements, it could be even stronger.

Any points that I didn't quite get I could ask the tutors/student discussion area and would get a prompt reply.
