The grandenatal workshop last week was very informative and so reassuring. A lot has changed in 38 years. My granddaughter is seven months already and I was relieved to know that I hadn’t done anything wrong so far. I now feel a lot more confident to help my son as he starts four months’ paternity leave.

A delayed review but just wanted to say thank you so much to Lou. I booked onto the baby massage classes via The Baby Experience and had a fantastic time! Every class I took something away and my little one absolutely loves a massage now. We have taken the tools and tips from Lou and incorporated into our bedtime routine; the massages do wonders for my little one and after every class they would sleep so well (especially that first session). The classes run by Lou were such a relaxing experience and baby led. This was my first ever baby class as a first time mum and what a great experience; being in a space where you feel safe with no judgement if your little one is crying, hungry, needs a nappy change etc.
Bonus- Lou is a great baker and we would always finish the class with a hot drink and cake and had open conversations with Lou & the other parents.

Fantastic class. Lou is kind, considerate and incredibly patient. She is able to read the room and run the classes to the pace of the babies which always put me at ease and kept me relaxed. She comes with a wealth of knowledge and a side of cake each week as a bonus. I would highly recommend.

We arrived to London with our 11 months old daughter and Lou, Louise, has been a ray of light: loving, playful, full of energy and laughter, she has been of great company while my partner was working. She showed me the many opportunities the city has to offer with a young baby and even if I was not ready to explore, I really appreciated it and still cherish all the input for next time. Most importantly she taught us, through example, new ways to play with our baby. One year later we are still in tuch! Thank you Lou.

My second daughter Ona and myself enjoyed a lovely month of baby massage classes on a weekly basis, where we got a chance to spend some quality time together. I learnt more about what baby massage involves, as well as other handy tips and tricks with babies and newborns in particular. Lou is friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, plus... Having organic coconut oil included, and yummy bakes and hot drinks at the end of every class, are little perks I have not enjoyed in any other baby classes!

As a manager of a maternity charity project, I have seen how wonderful Louise is at working with people. She trained a group of my maternity volunteers with kindness and empathy, while always making sure that the training was accessible and fun for our diverse group of volunteers. All the volunteers said that they learned a lot and that Lou is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. Will very gladly use her again for future activities and trainings!

I arranged for Sarah and Lou to come support me as I knew I would be having a c section. their help has been invaluable especially in the early days when I was not very mobile. They will help with almost anything you need but mostly importantly give you a chance to sleep, shower and eat. I learnt so much from them about how to look after my little one and even things like baby massage. I call them the baby whisperers (but I haven’t told them that yet). Thank you both for making the first few months of motherhood as smooth as possible. You’ll be missed. Nathalie x

I highly recommend Baby massage classes, it is great place to learn new techniques, ask for advise, share experience and meet other local mums. Lou also prepares snacks and is amazing teacher/advisor! My baby was 3 months old when we started classes and he enjoyed every minute, after it he felt relaxed and happy!

Thank you Sarah for a wonderful morning sharing with us tips and ideas about our forthcoming experience of becoming grandparents. The class was most informative and I would say a must for grandparents to be. Thank you also for all the informative links and books.

My grandson is 7 months old and I continue to be so glad I did the Grantenatal course. I’ve been able to understand (and therefore accept) the choices his parents have faced, which are in many ways so different to those I faced with my son, and I feel genuine pride in seeing how they’ve navigated them. I know my grandson is in good hands rather than just hoping he is!

The baby massage course is really great and Lou is amazing! I have learnt techniques to help my little boy not only to relax but also with his colic - it worked wonders! Lou is extremely knowledgeable, very long and helpful - always had a kind word and advices for any questions we had. One of the best things I did was attending the courses - I learnt a lot and met other local mums too!

Lou has been a constant source of loving guidance since before we even had our baby. She has dispensed invaluable practical advice and crucial bits of encouragement in equal measure. She is on speed dial for us and we trust her implicitly! Would highly recommend doing an NCT course with her if you can, as well her in-person drop ins. She is amazing. Thank you, Lou!

Highly recommended baby massage course! Lou has taught me great massage techniques to help my baby relax. I look forward to the class every week and meeting other lovely mums and babies. Lou also gave us useful advise on helping baby sleep and she makes great cakes and tea/coffee! Thank you Lou x

Lou runs our baby massage group for our Maternity Champions project in Chelsea. We help and support parents and babies in their first year. We focus on parents who wouldn't normally get to a chance to experience baby massage.
Lou is an amazing instructor and the parents love her class. She helps parents to bond with their babies with massage but she also has a wealth of additional information to impart. They feel they can ask her anything. She often sends them information and techniques on sleep, eating, games and much more.
I'm so happy working with Lou and look forward to working with her again next year!

I can’t recommend Lou’s baby massage highly enough! She is such a warm and welcoming person, and really takes time to listen and engage with the mums and babies. The baby massage really helped me with a colicky baby and gave me some lovely massage sequences to try at home. My baby and I both loved it! A fantastic course, thank you Lou!

Sarah and Lou were amazingly helpful from the start. They are both knowledgeable and experienced but also kind and supportive. While they provided great support in helping me to prepare for the birth and were a great comfort during the birth; it was having Sarah and Lou around in the days after the baby was born that was a true lifesaver. They somehow provided exactly what I needed across the days post birth- washing up, cooking, baby care, baby advice, emotional support, postpartum recovery support, etc. Having them come around in the first week with my first baby was the best decision I made during pregnancy!

I had the most amazing experience with Sarah and Lou before, during and after the birth of my second baby. Having felt a little out of control in my first labour I really wanted some comfort and reassurance in my second to help me achieve the birth I wanted. Things couldn’t have gone more smoothly, I can’t recommend them both highly enough.

The baby massage course was amazing. It was a lovely calm and friendly environment for baby and myself. Lou is very welcoming and knowledgeable and always made time at the end of the classes for any questions us mums had. It was great to meet other mums as we had all done pregnancy during lockdown meaning virtual antenatal classes. Our group made a group WhatsApp and plan to meet up. My baby loved the massage techniques and I have since been using them at home which is very calming and relaxing for baby. Skills learnt for life!

We joined this course with my two month baby and so glad we did.
Lou was absolutely amazing and taught us different massage techniques which babies loved but after the class we also chatted with her and the other mums about many other things accompanied by her homemade cakes and hot drinks.
A great way to meet new mums and bond with your baby in a really confortable and charming home enviroment.

I’m really grateful to have encountered Sarah. Following her sleep training guidance came at a time when my baby was waking every hour or 2 over an extended period of time and I was desperate to make some shifts and needed help. The techniques really worked and made a huge difference to me and I’m now in a much better place. She offered kind, compassionate and wise advice in abundance and I can highly recommend working with her.
