It’s quite clear that the two items being compared have not actually been looked at properly, because they are completely different pieces.
Rather than relying on assumptions, here are the links so this can be judged accurately:

Even a quick comparison makes it obvious these are not the same product. Theirs is Quayside. Ours is Harbour Cafe. Different artwork entirely, not a variation of the same piece.
Beyond that, the physical differences are significant and cannot be ignored. Our piece measures 111 cm x 56 cm, making it over 40% larger by surface area than the alternative referenced. It also weighs 8 kg, compared to just 1.3 kg for the other item, meaning it is over six times heavier. That difference alone tells you these products are not built to the same standard or using the same materials.
There is also a clear distinction in construction and origin. Our piece is UK-made, produced to a far more substantial specification with a solid frame and overall finish to match. The alternative appears to be a lightweight, mass-produced import, set in a thin and basic frame. These are fundamentally different levels of product, not like-for-like options.
The issue here is not a matter of opinion, it is one of accuracy. A public comparison has been made between two items that differ in image, size, weight, build quality, and manufacture, yet are presented as though they are directly comparable. That creates a misleading impression for anyone reading the review.
Reviews are, of course, entitled to be critical. What they should not do is present inaccurate comparisons as fact, particularly when the differences are this clear and this significant.
If a comparison is going to be made, the minimum expectation is that it is between genuinely equivalent products. In this case, it quite plainly is not.
This is why the review is not just negative, but unfair and misleading.
This is exactly where platforms like Trustpilot fall down. Reviews like this are published and left visible despite being based on comparisons that are, at best, misunderstood and, at worst, misleading. That creates a false impression for future customers who are not given the full context.

Our ordering was easy but !
Our ordering was easy and the despatch quickly with good information on its arrival.
But unfortunately it was damaged I let them know the same day ,the initial reply to my email and call was good. But after that it was awful ,conflicting information on the replacements arrival and when I tried a chat box conversation for help (as my emails were rarely answered),they didn't help at all and told ME to contact the owner ( who was the one not replying ) as it obviously wasn't something they were prepared to do !!
After 3 long weeks a replacement was sent ....but not without alot of hassle....and as for discount for the disappointing service.. NO that was obviously never going to happen.

Lovely artwork
Our company renovates properties for the use as our own holiday lets. We were in the midst of refurbishing one of them and I stumbled across The Artist Quarter when I was looking for quality pictures.
We went with a selection of Adam Barsby pictures of a girl with a dog in black frames. They are perfect and really have give the property the look we were trying to achieve. They arrived via APC and were well packaged.
Would certainly use again as I have a three bedroom property which needs refurbishing from top to bottom and will need artwork so will be sure to come back for some more in the future.

Saw the Pastures New panel in a country pub and was so impressed we ordered one for our home. Ordering was very easy and item was dispatched and delivered in good time, the packaging was excellent and ensured the item was not damaged in any way. This order was delivered on the 14th working day, which is within the delivery timescale clearly stated at the point of purchase and on the order confirmation.
While it did take the full quoted timeframe, it was not overdue and no refund was due.
We always aim to deliver sooner where possible, and we appreciate patience when items reach the latter end of the stated schedule. For accuracy and fairness to future customers, it would have been helpful for the review to reflect that the order was delivered within the advertised timeframe.
Well wrapped for Transportation
Very reasonable pricing well packaged to stop damage would use again.

No refund label or refund!!
Item was unsuitable so contacted the company for a return, no return labels so arranged my own DPD delivery, no acknowledgement or refund provided, two chaser emails later!
Re the response from The Artists Quarter, the self arrangement collection was on the 3rd November, to date (14th November) I haven’t received a refund! And Customer service did not even acknowledge my chaser emails until I complained via this review. My experience is exactly as I described. Do not purchase from the site unless you are 100% sure you want to keep the item. In addition to the further feedback below, I did conduct my return exactly as per the Artist Quarters procedure after emailing them and am waiting for a refund 11 days later. My main complaint is the lack of engagement and the ‘blame the customer’ email I received. A simple ‘sorry for the delay’ and we will try and fix this, would have been a better approach.

Our Terms & Conditions clearly state that we don’t provide free return labels, which is why we advised you to arrange your own return — something you acknowledged at the time. We also make it clear that refunds can take up to 14 working days to be processed once an item is received back with us.
Your parcel arrived only recently, and your refund is currently being processed well within the stated timeframe.
We understand returns can be frustrating, but leaving a 1-star review when we’re following the exact policy shown at checkout is unfair and doesn’t accurately reflect our service.
